"What are you three doing!" Su Yang immediately shouted.
"Hey, this voice sounds familiar!" The Second City Lord said curiously.
"Yeah, where have I heard it before?" The Third City Lord nodded.
"You two dummies, that’s the boss!" The Great City Lord shouted, and the two finally snapped back to reality.
"Boss, is it really you?" The Third City Lord exclaimed excitedly.
"Of course, who else would it be?" Su Yang replied irritably.
"Oh, boss, we finally found you!" The Second City Lord panted as he ran over: "You’ve been in here for over half a month with no news, and we thought something had happened to you. Are you... are you alright?"
"What are you talking about? I’ve only been in here for a few hours, not half a month!" Su Yang glared.
"Boss, are you sure? You’ve really been in here for over half a month!" The Second City Lord said in surprise.
Su Yang was taken aback. Could it be that the time in here was different from the outside world, just like in the World Melting Furnace?
"Did you guys come in here to find me?" Su Yang asked curiously.
"Of course!" The Second City Lord instantly replied, "You’re our boss. You’ve been in here for so long without any word. How could we sit still? We had to come in to check! We volunteered to come in, our loyalty as clear as day and night!"
Su Yang automatically filtered out the Second City Lord’s flattering words, thinking it must be because he was in for a long time that they sent someone to find him. Others might not withstand the power of the Array, but these three Crystal Skulls, though not very capable, had sturdy bones, which is why they were sent in.
"So why are you being chased by so many skeletons?" Su Yang asked in surprise.
"We don’t know!" The Second City Lord replied, "We just got in, and suddenly a bunch of remains popped out of nowhere, crying and shouting as they chased us, just like crazy fans."
At this moment, the group of remains had already chased nearby. However, apprehensive of Su Yang, they didn’t dare to come closer, merely glaring resentfully from afar at the three Crystal Skulls.
Su Yang looked at these remains and frowned, "It doesn’t look like they’re crazy fans chasing someone beloved; it seems more like they’re chasing a thief?"
"Boss, I vouch for my character; we didn’t steal anything from them when we came in!" The Second City Lord immediately declared.
