Chapter 2555: Chapter 2555: The Origin of the World Melting Furnace

Su Yang’s eyes widened. He had only known before that the World Melting Furnace was indeed refined from a world. Later, he gradually discovered that the World Melting Furnace was crafted from a Great World. However, he never expected that the origin of the World Melting Furnace was such; it was driven by the Guardian God to besiege the demon beasts, and only after all lives perished in battle was it refined into a Divine Artifact!

"How did you know about these things?" Su Yang asked curiously. Lord Kunpeng was previously unaware that this was the World Melting Furnace, so how did he know this information?

"Look!" Lord Kunpeng pointed to the stone wall beside them. "Do you see those stone walls? Many texts are engraved on them, recording the origin of the World Melting Furnace!"

"Really?" Su Yang immediately walked to the stone wall, took a close look, and found that there were many texts on it, recording a great deal of content. Most of it documented the history of this Great World. From what Su Yang could see at a glance, it would take at least a hundred years to thoroughly read all the inscriptions on the stone wall.

"This is just what’s recorded inside the main hall," Lord Kunpeng said. "Throughout this entire palace, all of the records are like this. There is even a library inside, filled with such records as well. Nothing much happened over these tens of thousands of years, so we’ve been here organizing these records. The things I just mentioned to you, I learned entirely from these records."

Su Yang looked at the Saint Emperor Guards who were busy; it seemed they were organizing the records within the palace.

"How did this palace come to be?" Su Yang wondered. "Hasn’t this Great World become uninhabited?"

"The World Melting Furnace is not only the Divine Artifact of that Heavenly Warrior but also his palace. This palace was where he once lived!" Lord Kunpeng explained. "The inscriptions on the stone walls were written by him personally. The library inside holds collections he gathered from this Great World. It seems he hoped that someone would restore the civilization of this Great World."

"I see!" Su Yang came to a sudden realization, looking around the palace with a myriad of thoughts.

In fact, he could empathize with the feelings of that Heavenly Warrior. If one day, his own Nine Realms were to end up like this, he couldn’t bear to let them be forgotten. He would also leave these records to prove the past prosperity and splendor of the Nine Realms, aspiring to restore everything about it. And it was with these thoughts that the Heavenly Warrior left these records!

"Alright, enough with the unnecessary words!" Lord Kunpeng waved his hand. "He just explained the situation outside to me briefly, but I have one question."

"Please, Lord Kunpeng!" Su Yang immediately replied.

"The relationship between your Human Clan and the Demon Beast Clan needs no further elaboration," Lord Kunpeng stated. "Do you think I can trust what you say?"

Su Yang sighed. It all boiled down to the relationship between the Human Clan and the Demon Beast Clan. The information he provided might not be believed by Lord Kunpeng.

"Lord Kunpeng, this isn’t about whether you trust me!" Su Yang said. "Do you think there’s any point in me deceiving you? You’re already trapped in this valley. If I truly wanted to deal with you, I could just leave you be and keep you trapped here forever, so why bother coming to tell you such nonsense?"

"While that’s true, who knows if you’re trying to fool me into leaving to accomplish something you couldn’t do on your own?" Lord Kunpeng retorted.

"Once outside, if you find my words untrustworthy, you can observe the situation of the Great World yourself," Su Yang suggested. "With your power, I couldn’t stop you. Could I possibly control you?"

Lord Kunpeng thought for a moment, then nodded. "Alright, you’ve successfully persuaded me. That’s how it will be; you find a way to take us out!"

Su Yang breathed a sigh of relief; he had been worried about not being able to convince Lord Kunpeng.

"As for getting out, I do have a method," Su Yang proposed. "This valley cannot be exited from above; even I can’t break through the mists. So we’ll have to go underwater, through the depths of the Spirit Liquid Lake, and exit via Storm Valley."

"Forget about the Spirit Liquid Lake," Lord Kunpeng said flatly. "That person in the Spirit Liquid Lake won’t let us out. When you exited through the Spirit Liquid Lake before, we tried to get out that way too. But as soon as we entered the Spirit Liquid Lake, we were killed by that person. Because of it, several of our brothers have perished in the lake!"

"I know!" Su Yang replied. "The real difficulty isn’t entering the Spirit Liquid Lake; it’s how to get through Storm Valley!"

"What’s wrong with Storm Valley?" Lord Kunpeng asked curiously.

Su Yang described the situation in Storm Valley, and Lord Kunpeng was stunned after hearing it.

He had directly entered the World Melting Furnace and fell into this valley. So he truly didn’t know what was going on outside. Plus, they couldn’t access the Spirit Liquid Lake, so naturally, they couldn’t get into Storm Valley to know about it.

After hearing Su Yang’s explanation, they finally understood just how dangerous Storm Valley was.

"Then this method won’t work!" Lord Kunpeng concluded. "We can’t enter the Spirit Liquid Lake, and Storm Valley is impassable. We can’t use this method!"

"But the problem is, this is the only method available to leave the valley!" Su Yang said. "There are no other ways to exit the valley, so we must focus on this method!"

"Isn’t this a dead end?" Lord Kunpeng exclaimed. "We can’t get out at all; aren’t we wasting our time discussing it?"

"Not necessarily!" Su Yang said. "The storm power in Storm Valley is strong, but it can’t harm my bones. After I became a Saint Emperor, I was able to form a Personal Space within my bones. If I hide you in my Personal Space, you can pass through Storm Valley. The key question now is whether the person in the Spirit Liquid Lake would allow you to leave if I hid you in my Personal Space!"

"This..." Lord Kunpeng pondered. "This is really uncertain. The person in the Spirit Liquid Lake is incredibly strong. Your bones may withstand Storm Valley, but they might not escape his notice!"

"So, we have to give it a try!" Su Yang said softly. "I can first capture one of the mindless demon beasts outside to see if I can take them out. If I can take them out, naturally, I can take you out as well!"
