Chapter 485: Crashing Down
Pushed to the brink of death, Michael used everything he had.
Sending a mental command to Devil in his grasp, the two merged, allowing Michael to assume his Demonic Form.
With his Distorted Physique at play, he felt his power soar, reaching unreasonable heights.
• Strength: 360,000 (36,000)
• Agility: 360,000 (36,000)
• Stamina: 360,000 (36,000)
The Supreme Demonic Technique had elevated his basic attributes by a factor of 1,000%. He was now three times stronger than when he had used the transformation to obliterate a Monarch.
"What happened? Where did your boasting vanish?!" Michael roared, his prolonged limbs trembling as they contained the might of the Titan.
"I’m just getting started!" He declared proudly, throwing the foot to the side.
[God of War is synergizing with Tyrannical Will.]
[New Demonic Technique Created.]
[God of Ruin]
The golden surface of the giant war deity shifted, darkening until its color matched Michael’s bottomless eyes.
Its hundred limbs merged into ten, while the deity’s head split open into a maniacal smile stretching for hundreds of meters.
Gone was every trace of prestige and divinity the technique once carried. The God of Ruin charged forward, limbs and maw eager to tear the Titan apart.
"Now that’s what I’m talking about!"
Michael’s eyes shone, the aura he radiated growing increasingly menacing.
"Authority Manifestation, Bottomless Hell!"
The enormous corrupted landscape returned. Scattered pitch-black ash surged upward, coiling around the grinning, horrifying skull. Wrapping around it in the shape of a dragon, it pulled itself higher, forming six enormous wings that sprouted from its back.
The nightmare, now several times more powerful thanks to Michael’s ascension to the Absolute Lord realm, released a deafening roar and descended from the heavens. Simultaneously, the God of Ruin charged beneath it, while Michael, in his Demonic Form, dashed across the ground below.
Under the sight of the three monsters of destruction, the Almighty was momentarily taken aback.
The impact that followed was brutal.
The dragon’s skull lunged forward and closed its jaws around the Titan’s head. At the same time, the God of Ruin rammed into its torso, forcing it to stagger, while Michael delivered a devastating strike to the alien’s lower limbs, tripping it.
Boom!
Before it could react, the kilometers-high entity crashed to the ground, shaking the very foundation of the tower upon which they fought.
Brought down to the Lords’ altitude, they ignored Michael’s astonishing display of force and focused on overwhelming their foe.
Nicole’s crimson phoenix blazed with ferocity, matching the Titan’s heat.
Persephone’s darkness clasped around the Almighty’s figure. Her body strained and her breathing grew shallow as she spared no effort to keep the creature pinned to the ground while the rest dealt damage.
At long last, their strikes bore fruit. Cracks began to spread across the alien’s gigantic body.
In the next moment all hope was lost, the Titan turning the tables. Catching Emanuel and Solomon off guard, it slew the two Supreme Lords with a single blow.
"I AM GOD!" MSAP-8 declared.
Still fallen to its limbs, it lunged forward at light speed, taking hold of Michael.
"You are the only troublesome one! If you die, so does the rest!"
The Titan tightened its grip, its fingers closing around Michael, about to crush him.
However, the alien was perfectly aware that the human in its grasp was capable of near-infinite regeneration. As such, the Almighty made a decision.
Its piercing gaze shifted toward the edge.
And jumped.
"MASTER!"
Angel, having assumed her true form after Michael’s transformation, flew downward from the looming tower without hesitation. Ember followed a close second, along with the rest of the Lords.
Falling with accelerating speed, the Titan pinned Michael against the tower, forcing him to endure the deadly impact.
"If you can regenerate endlessly, then I just have to break you down so thoroughly that not even an atom remains!"
Unwilling to let go, the Titan held Michael with both arms, pointing him downward toward the ever-nearing surface of the Sun.
The God of Ruin held on to the Almighty, striking mercilessly, yet the alien simply brushed it off, knowing that with Michael’s upcoming death, its threat would soon vanish.
Like a comet entering a planet’s atmosphere, Michael felt his back light up. The heat generated by their descent surpassed even the temperature of a star.
"Your death will not be swift!" Michael roared, his Distorted Physique trying and failing to break free of the crushing grip.
The Iskra Titan paid no heed to the threat a heartbeat away from collision.
BOOOOM!
At the point of impact, a shockwave containing kinetic energy capable of altering the rotation of the Earth erupted across the entire Light Kingdom.
Under lethal speed, coupled with the pressure of millions of tons of force upon the collision, Michael felt his existence teeter on the brink of collapse.
[Sustained damage has exceeded maximum threshold]
[Demonic Form has been reverted.]
Alarmingly, the Titan’s plan had worked. Devil was forcibly separated from Michael.
Knowing that another transformation could not be allowed to happen at any cost, the Almighty moved at light speed and devoured Devil in a single bite.
[Devil has been sealed. Access to his presence is temporarily unavailable.]
Notably, the Titan did not rejoice. The alien itself had sustained a dangerous amount of damage and was unable to mend itself properly.
It was about to kill the human when, before it could, Angel squeezed past the gigantic creature and snatched Michael, carrying him away.
The Almighty roared in rage at being denied the finishing blow. Ember and the Lords soon reached it as well, increasing the pressure they applied.
"Challenge me in my territory?! So be it! You will bear the full consequences!"
Rising upward, MSAP-8 let out a piercing scream that traveled across the entire Kingdom.
The countless illusions residing within it shuddered under the command of their ruler and surged toward the center, aiming to aid their master.
While the Lords were about to be met with the Titan’s army on top of fighting it themselves, Angel created a safe distance from the clash, her eyes worriedly inspecting Michael’s state.
"How am I meant to help him?" She bit her lower lip, her mind racing in desperation.
