Chapter 2395: Invaders.
Nux looked at the Universe he had targeted, the Seer looked at him with a somewhat fearful look on her face, afraid of whatever it was he was going to do.
Nux ignored her and he—
He did something and the next instant—
The screen that was showing the Multiverse changed and showed somewhere else, somewhere the Seer recognized in an instant.
The Universe Nux was targeting.
But not at the point when it was at its strongest—
Nux had moved to the point in time where Ul’Thakar had just won the final War, a point in time where most of the Universe was destroyed, Ul’Thakar was injured to the point that he had to close himself off from the Universe and disappear for the next million years.
From this point onwards, the people of this Universe would have believed that Ul’Thakar too, had perished because of his grave injuries, that would have given rise to Seven new, independent Factions, who would then be at war to take control over the Universe.
A million years later, once Ul’Thakar returned, he would torture the leading figures of the Seven Factions and make the entire Universe witness it.
Then, he would take control over the Universe, dominate its Will and become the Absolute God of this Universe—
That was what was supposed to happen.
But—
"Nux, what happened? Why did it change?"
The Seer asked with a confused look on her face.
Nux looked at her with a frown.
"Hmm? Why are you suddenly asking the obvious?"
"Answer my question, Nux."
The Seer repeated in a stricter tone. She already knew the answer, she just... didn’t wish to believe it. Or maybe she just didn’t think it was even possible but—
"I explained it before, the screen shows what my Universe sees.
It shows where my Universe is."
"It is showing another Universe, Nux."
"That is because this is exactly where we are."
For a moment, the space turned silent. The Seer looked at Nux, then she looked around, at the Universe she was in—
"You aligned the Time of your entire Universe with this Universe’s Time Signature..."
"You are finally starting to get it."
"So your entire Universe became... an observer."
She commented in disbelief.
To think—
He would change the Time of his entire Universe to enter another Universe.
It was...
Well, at the very least, it wasn’t impossible in theory.
The Seer told herself, almost as if she was consoling herself that he hadn’t done something extremely out of the normal yet.
But the next instant—
"Oh, we aren’t here as a mere observer."
Nux corrected and the Seer froze.
"What... do you mean...?"
She asked.
Nux however, just looked at her and shrugged—
"I mean, what would I even do as a mere observer?"
"..."
The Seer didn’t know the answer to that, she, however, did have a question.
"Then... what are we here as...?"
She asked and the instant she did, Nux’s smile turned demonic.
"Invaders."
He answered and the next moment—
He gathered energy from the Four remaining Worlds and—
The Power of Anomaly moved around him.
At this point, Nux had not only fought against Zylarith, he had fought against five Infinities together, he died, then used the Power of Anomaly in a place where Energy didn’t even exist, then, he observed countless years for countless years and comprehended the Ultimate Power of Time—
That was Nux, that was what he had done—
And now that he was back at the place where he had nearly endless Energy and experience—
With a mere thought, the Power of Anomaly moved and—
The Impossible happened.
He was here in this Universe as an Observer.
For him, interacting with the Universe was Impossible.
But—
Nux was the one who controlled the Impossible. So with his understanding of the Law of Anomaly, which had now reached the highest level—
He made the Impossible Possible.
And he—
Instead of an Observer, became an Invader.
In an instant, more than a hundred thousand portals opened all at once in front of the army Nux had gathered.
And Nux—
"Go."
He ordered.
"Devour the World you see in front of you."
He had already opened the portals in a way where they led a particular Unit of the army with a particular strength in front of a world they had the capability to devour.
All his people had to do was enter through the portal Nux had created and attack.
That was it.
And that was exactly what his army did.
In an instant—
About tens of thousands of beings invaded a single world, prepared to devour it and—
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
The Universe that had been recovering from a major War, the Universe that was already wounded, the Universe that was expecting some rest now that the strongest being inside it had closed itself off—
Suddenly trembled in shock and absolute rage as more than a hundred thousand of its worlds were attacked and disappeared.
Devoured by a being it didn’t know anything about.
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
The Universe was enraged, so much that, in its rage, in order to get the unknown invader who took advantage of its weakest moment and then hid away—
It decided to self-destruct.
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
The very void shook, the stars all over the Universe turned red, every single world in the Universe felt it. The existing Laws began to reverse, Creation turned against matter, Space started folding inward, Time shook and then cracked.
Stars collapsed, the remaining Worlds that Nux’s army did not attack split apart on their own.
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
The Universe roared one last time, this time, louder than ever.
Its rage and hatred couldn’t be more obvious.
Ul’Thakar, despite being injured, tried to rush out and stop what was happening the moment he realized the grave danger.
But—
It was already too late.
The Universe burned its very Core and with that—
The entire Universe exploded, taking its worlds, its stars, its other cosmic entities, even its remaining Infinity with it.
As for the enemy who had attacked it, the army that devoured its worlds, the reason behind the massive destruction—
They had disappeared long before the self-destruction began.
The Universe’s destruction didn’t harm anyone but the Universe itself.
And Nux, who was watching it all, only had one thing to say—
"Damn."
