Chapter 332: Chapter 332: Misreading Feng Shui_1

Ye Fei’s single remark successfully drew all eyes toward him.

Master Yi’s expression instantly froze, his face an iron black and his beard curling up quite high.

It was as if his face was saying, "Who do you think you are, daring to show off your skills in front of this master?"

The two young disciples by his side glared even wider, competing in their fierceness as they stared down Ye Fei.

Intensely.

"Such an arrogant fool! While my master is giving guidance on feng shui, where is there room for you to point fingers and make comments? What’s this nonsense about ’great disaster looming’? Stop your alarmist talk!"

"You truly don’t know how high the sky is or how deep the earth is! When my master emerged, your parents hadn’t even been born. With your little ability, you dare to spout nonsense in front of a true master?"

The scolding from the two disciples made the atmosphere at the scene drop to an awkward freeze.

Zhu Guangbo and Bai Yunfei quickly stepped in to smooth things over.

Zhu Guangbo said with a forced smile, "Master Yi, please don’t be angry. Mr. Ye means well and didn’t intend to offend you."

"Good intentions? He better keep his good intentions to himself, lest he harms himself and others! Feng shui is not a matter to be taken lightly. Is it something anyone can just comment on casually?"

"If the feng shui is ruined, at the least it will lead to loss of wealth and good fortune; at worst, it can cause a family’s ruin! President Zhu, President Bai, surely neither of you are willing to take such a risk, right?"

"That’s true! Absolutely!"

Thinking back to the strange incidents that had happened around him in recent days, Zhu Guangbo couldn’t help but feel a chill down his spine.

"We will do everything according to the master’s orders."

With that, he nodded apologetically to Ye Fei.

One was pacifying Master Yi, so naturally, the other had to appease Ye Fei.

Bai Yunfei quickly pulled Ye Fei aside, bowing and scraping, "Mr. Ye, I beg of you, don’t take Master Yi’s words to heart. The old man has an odd temper. Overlook it for mine and Old Zhu’s sake, please."

"We will surely visit you to apologize afterwards."

Indeed, Zhu Guangbo and Bai Yunfei held nothing but respect for Ye Fei.

Especially toward Ye Fei’s medical skills, they were utterly convinced and respectful.

But nobody is perfect.

Just because Ye Fei was extraordinarily skilled in medicine didn’t mean he was peerless in the art of feng shui.

So, when it came to this, they chose to unconditionally trust Master Yi, the authority in the field of feng shui.

Ye Fei also realized that they were trying to avoid a conflict with Master Yi and were asking him to leave first.

If it were anyone else, Ye Fei certainly would have walked away.

If they did not trust him, why should he meddle in their affairs?

But it was different with Bai Yunfei and Zhu Guangbo.

They had always treated him with the utmost respect and like a distinguished guest.

If he were to abandon them now, and a tragedy occurred, he would feel guilty in his heart.

With this thought in mind, Ye Fei not only did not leave but instead patiently explained, "Old Bai, that Master Yi only saw the surface of things and failed to grasp the essence. The patterns here are definitely not as simple as he described."

"If handled incorrectly, I’m afraid that both the Bai Family and the Zhu Family may face a bloody disaster. I absolutely can’t stand by and watch you lose your lives because of this confused old man."

Although Ye Fei spoke softly, every word and sentence was heard clearly by Master Yi.

The stubborn old man’s anger surged instantly.

He stomped his foot, pointing at Ye Fei, "You brash young man! What nonsense are you spouting? Who is the confused old man? Who has threatened whom? State your case clearly!"

Ye Fei replied sternly, "Wasn’t I clear enough? You misjudged the feng shui here."

"Nonsense!"

Master Yi’s tendons bulged and his beard and hair bristled.

"I, Yi Haiyun, have lived for more than eighty years and have perused countless classic tomes! I have unraveled countless problematic feng shui sites! And you, a mere whippersnapper, think you know better?"

"Today, just because you’ve flapped your lips, you claim I’ve misjudged and even endangered lives? Where do you get the nerve?"

"If you can’t give me a clear explanation today, I won’t let this go!"

The old master’s temper was certainly fiery, to the point where he looked like he could have a heart attack from his anger.

The two disciples hurried to help, one offering water, the other patting his back.

Their gaze upon Ye Fei was practically ablaze.

"Master Yi, please calm down, take it easy. Mr. Ye might have spoken inappropriately, but he means well for us. Please don’t be truly upset."

"Yes, Master Yi, whatever you say, we will follow. You want us to bury talisman papers, right? Someone, go quickly, do as Master Yi says!"

Zhu Guangbo and Bai Yunfei bowed and scraped to pacify Yi Haiyun, nodding vigorously.

But Master Yi wouldn’t have any of it.

"No!"

"This youngster claims to be competent, saying I’m leading you astray? I must confront this head-on!"

"Come on, lad, speak up! You say I made a mistake, so let’s hear your reasoning. If you can’t explain, don’t blame me for cursing your ancestors!"

Zhu Guangbo and Bai Yunfei were caught in a dilemma, casting a pained look at Ye Fei.

Wondering why he had to do this.

Feng shui was not medicine; it wasn’t his professional field.

Why should he challenge authority with his hobby?

Alas!

The situation had become terribly awkward.
