"Father, everything has been arranged properly. I’ve gathered the journalists today and recorded everything," Ye Fei said respectfully to the elder who lay in the recliner with his eyes closed, soaking up the tranquility.

Su Pengcheng stood upright, speaking to the elder with deference.
"And what about Ye Fei?"
The old man in the recliner murmured, his tone laced with a trace of venom.
That man was none other than Su Linhai.
Previously, his shares had been taken by Ye Fei, and Su Pengcheng had not been spared either.

Su Yueru brought Ye Fei to the corporation.
Last night, the two had discussed starting their investigation with the internal personnel, namely the supervisory department.
Su Yueru picked up the phone, about to dial out.
Suddenly, the office door was kicked open, and a group of people barged in, fuming with anger.

Su Yueru hesitated as she turned towards Su Linhai.
With a cold snort, Su Linhai turned and pointed at Gao Yan’s nose, commanding:

Startled, Gao Yan quickly nodded, stammering out:
"The product issue, it was... it was the chairman’s order. She gave me half a million, telling me to turn a blind eye..."
Su Linhai nodded in satisfaction and looked toward Zhang Jiahao.
"About that ten million from yesterday, explain what happened," he directed.
Zhang Jiahao nodded and spoke in a low voice:
"After sending out the ten million card yesterday, I followed the elder’s orders to track the card’s transaction history, and the final transfer record pointed to... the chairman."
"Impossible!"
Su Yueru slammed her fist on the table, rising to her feet.
Hearing the absurd lies from the two, Su Yueru was so angered her face turned red!
Seeing how forceful the group was, and even placing the blame entirely on Su Yueru through their words,
it was clear they were setting the stage for her impeachment.
Ye Fei, however, was completely unfazed, patting Su Yueru’s back with interest as he looked towards the third person who hadn’t yet spoken and asked:
"What about you? Got anything to say?"
Bai Jiling paused, then looked at Su Linhai.
Upon receiving an affirmative nod from him, Bai Jiling spoke up without hesitation:
"I’m in charge of procuring raw materials for the company. Some time ago the chairman approached me, saying there was a batch of raw materials she had personally contacted, and asked me to approve it."
"At first, I didn’t think much of it, but now I realize that batch of materials certainly had issues!" Bai Jiling said, his expression turning remorseful.
"Chairman Su, I can’t do such a conscienceless act, please find someone else," he implored.
After finishing, he took out a card from his pocket and tossed it over.
Ye Fei caught the card effortlessly and toyed with it, turning his gaze back to Su Linhai.
"How about you?" he inquired.
"Me?" Su Linhai scoffed, then feigned a sigh and said:
"Yueru, I know you hold grievances against the previous attitudes of the Su Family, but you can’t just destroy what several generations have worked to build. How about this: sell your shares to us and leave the Su Corporation. We won’t pursue this matter any further, how does that sound?"
Seeing Su Linhai’s pretense of righteousness, even someone as naive as Su Yueru could sense these people were after her position as the chairman.
"No way!"
She promptly shook her head and vehemently retorted:
"You know the truth of the matter better than I do. There’s a long way to go before you can frame me!"
Su Linhai’s expression immediately grew stern as he gravely looked at Su Yueru. "Yueru, just because you were blinded by desire, people have already died because of you. If you remain so deluded, we’ll have no choice but to notify the patrol bureau. Then, it won’t be as simple as just giving up your shares!"
After speaking, Su Linhai savored his own words.
They were indeed powerful enough to coerce Su Yueru into compliance.
Suddenly, Ye Fei rose to his feet and flicked the bank card in his hand, embedding it into the wooden door behind the group.
