Chapter 190: Chapter 190: Elder Gao_1
Gao Feng stared at the open door, suddenly feeling overwhelmed.
The young man beside him, however, was the first to speak out.
"Mr. Gao, what are you waiting for? The Wan Medical Hall is open; this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!"
At the call, Gao Feng came to his senses and hurriedly strode in.
The young man followed behind.
"Who are you? What do you want?"
Xiao Yi stood at the entrance, eyeing the two men.
Gao Feng paused, then said, "Young doctor, we’ve come seeking medical help."
"Then come in."
Xiao Yi stepped aside to let the two men in, struggling to adapt to the sudden arrival of people seeking medical care.
Upon entering, they saw Ye Fei sitting behind the wooden table.
"Isn’t this... Doctor Fang’s medical hall?"
Ye Fei glanced at the two men and slowly said, "Yes."
"Then..."
Xiao Yi walked over and explained to the two,
"My master just went into seclusion; if you have any issues, you should talk to him."
With that, Xiao Yi pointed at Ye Fei.
The two men looked at each other, taken aback.
I came here looking for your elder, what good is a young person like this?
Could he possibly be better than Divine Doctor Fang?
Gao Feng slowly shook his head, a trace of regret flashing across his face.
"Since Divine Doctor Wan is not present, we won’t disturb any further."
Having said that, he intended to leave.
"Since you’re here, why not sit down and let me have a look? I can see that both of you are quite unwell."
Just as they were about to step out, Ye Fei’s voice suddenly reached them.
The young man turned abruptly, glaring at Ye Fei.
Originally, with Divine Doctor Wan absent, he felt utterly despondent.
Now, as if finding a vent for his emotions, he glared at Ye Fei, "What kind of way is that to speak?"
Gao Feng, on the other hand, waved his hand. Although Divine Doctor Wan was not present, those seated in this medical hall were surely not idlers.
Suddenly, he was struck by an idea that even he found ludicrous.
Perhaps this young man in front of him might be able?
So, he walked quickly over and stood in front of Ye Fei, smiling as he said,
"Since you say there’s something wrong with my health, why not tell me what ailments I have?"
Ye Fei cast a brief glance at him and said,
"You’ve been suffering from a chronic condition, haven’t you? Your headaches have plagued you for over a decade, especially recently, they’ve become severe, causing sleepless nights. Look at what your hair has become."
As he spoke, Ye Fei pulled a piece of paper from the side and quickly wrote down a prescription.
"Follow the prescription precisely, and you will definitely see an improvement after three courses."
"Miraculous!" Gao Feng was stunned.
Although he had long suffered from the ailment, Ye Fei diagnosed it with just a glance.
Gao Feng quickly sat down, watching Ye Fei intently.
"Sir, I need your help with an urgent matter."
Ye Fei looked slightly surprised, then tilted his head to signal him to continue.
Gao Feng nodded, his expression growing more serious, "An elder of mine has contracted a strange illness. Many doctors have been unable to diagnose it, and now he can’t even get out of bed. I hope you can come with me."
Seeing his earnest expression, Ye Fei sat up a bit more.
As the Medical Saint Venerable, his compassionate heart as a healer would not allow him to decline.
"Right now?"
Gao Feng was taken aback, then gratitude spread across his face, "The sooner, the better."
"Alright," Ye Fei nodded, "Xiao Yi, watch things here for me, I’ll be back soon."
Having said that, Ye Fei walked out of the medical hall with the middle-aged man and got into the Maybach.
Before long, Ye Fei was brought to an estate.
From the outside, the estate looked ancient and stylish, quite tasteful. The Maybach drove on for another five minutes and stopped in front of an imposing building.
After getting out of the car, they were immediately greeted by servants who respectfully showed the way.
Along the way, Ye Fei observed the surrounding decorations and could not help but be impressed.
Even without Starry Eyes, he could tell that these decorations must surely be antiques or works by great artists, each of immeasurable value.
Soon, Ye Fei followed the two to the inner chamber.
There, many people surrounded a sickbed, sighing and lamenting beside it.
Next to the bed, numerous medical devices were set up, with the all-important green line on the monitors showing violent fluctuations, indicating the patient was suffering immensely.
The group of doctors in white coats stood by, not daring to administer treatment.
Gao Feng’s heart ached seeing his grandfather in agony.
"What are you all doing here? My father is so ill, and you’re here just to sigh?"
"Mr. Gao, it’s not that we refuse to treat him, but your father’s condition is beyond help..."
At these words, Gao Feng without a second thought, strode forward and grabbed the doctor by the collar, "What do you mean?!"
The silver-haired doctor panicked, struggling free from Gao Feng’s grip, he sighed deeply.
"Mr. Gao, we understand you don’t want to believe it, but this is the harsh reality in front of us. Even if Divine Doctor Fang intervened, I fear the prognosis would still be grim."
"You!" Gao Feng’s eyes widened, pointing at the agreeing doctors.
"If you can’t cure him, then pack your things and get out!"
"What about the medical fees you promised earlier..."
"Not a penny!" Gao Feng waved his hand dismissively, looking disdainfully at the group, "I should’ve known from the start that you bunch of bastards only care about money."
