Chapter 1502: Chapter 59: Myth of the Celestial Wheel

Gongsun Ce watched as the kings departed, until the last fragment merged into the vault of the sky.

He suddenly realized that this was the death of the Dragon of the Vaulted Sky. From now on, there would be no giant dragons soaring through the sky, and consequently, no Capital of The Vault. Alandia and the others had urgently evacuated all life from the city before the battle began, so the former citizens wouldn’t perish because of this. But the city itself no longer existed; his apartment and his home disappeared after this battle, along with the memories of the past.

This was truly a battle of farewell with the past. Not only did he bury the Eternal Era, but he also personally buried the traces of his past ten years.

"It feels like the dissipation of youth," Gongsun Ce said softly, "Really doesn’t leave a pleasant feeling to the very end."

The gloomy little boy from the past hadn’t entirely died; he still occasionally surfaced, making Gongsun Ce feel melancholic for a moment. For a while, he felt a bit listless, the remaining power within him was scarce. He pondered whether he should make a stylish return with his remaining strength, or drift leisurely back to the ground as he had in the past...

At this moment, a rift silently opened, the light within it dazzling like the starry sky. A passage leading beyond the cosmos appeared before him. Gongsun Ce was momentarily stunned before realizing that his Realm finally matched his power—he was now at the pinnacle of the Creation Realm, maybe, probably, very possibly the strongest person in the world, without a doubt.

The passage stood still in front of him, like a silent invitation. Gongsun Ce observed it for a moment and was surprised to find it had no coercive influence on him. After contemplating for a while, he stepped into the passage and headed beyond.

Unsurprisingly, the other side of the passage was a dazzling Star River. Gongsun Ce saw countless stars, each radiating different colors—familiar rainbow colors, golden-gray, azure blue, black and white... He could identify them without approaching: the stars were actually the immortal dragon bodies. The unconscious giant dragons drifted in the deep space like an unparalleled sleepwalking scene. Looking back, Gongsun Ce saw the small blue planet in the distant galaxy.

He realized this was the Real World after it had been "broken." The former Solar System’s barrier had isolated the Dragon’s Star Sea, protecting Earth’s peace. But after the Silent King’s attack, the Real World’s barrier shattered, and the world of humans and dragons merged once again.

Gongsun Ce scanned the surroundings, discovering that stars of different colors subtly converged into winding paths. There were six paths in all, each extending toward the unseen beyond. Only one area lay empty, devoid of stars. That unlit silence formed the quietest path, its end once illuminated by the Evil Star. Now, the stars dimmed, and the path seemed to have fallen into slumber.

Gongsun Ce instinctively realized he could reach the end of that path and become a being different from what he was now. He shrugged his shoulders, turned his back, and forever dismissed that idea.

"A king without a dragon body has no power to influence the Real World, and a king integrated with a dragon body, if ’slain,’ means the heart-path is gravely wounded..." Gongsun Ce scratched his chin, "So Order King, Silent King, and King Pingdeng are now all ’dead’... yet you all are still alive and kicking, right!"

He heard lively laughter like tinkling silver bells, the sighs of precocious youth, voices full of love and pity, and the barely audible sound of dripping water. A gray droplet of water silently appeared, moved a bit towards his back, then swiftly dashed away, retreating to its own path.

Gongsun Ce chuckled silently, turned around, and flew towards the Solar System. The Star River flashed past in an instant, and upon reaching the edge of the Solar System, he sensed a still stable "obstacle." This was the power born from Harmonization Skills, the world-encompassing Great Secret Skill. It held Six Phases of the Creation Realm Skill and one phase of the Breakthrough Skill, its influence rooted in the hearts of the beings of this world from the start.

This was the origin of the Real World, the mark of the creators. It isolated the Seven Phases King outside and separated beings that transcend the limits of the Real World. No matter how powerful or profound one’s Realm, as long as a being’s existence in this world remained within the secret technique’s range, escaping its restraint was difficult.

"But now Mr. Gongsun, I am a Silent Phase Mage of the Creation Realm... No wonder this thing is useless on me."

Gongsun Ce voluntarily flew into the obstruction and saw a familiar light. The light was warm, fervent, and ubiquitous, shining upon the aqua-blue planet every day.

He immediately understood his location, realizing he was headed to the inside of the Sun.

From the sunlight, he saw a golden building, not very large, square in shape, with a surprisingly modern style, resembling the low houses in the countryside of the Empire. He pushed open the door and heard a slightly familiar greeting.

"Welcome, Gongsun Ce," the man said. "Or perhaps I should call you the ’Chaos King’ reborn and renewed."

Upon entering, he saw a wooden table in the center of the living room, where a brawny red-haired man was pouring tea for guests. There were four cups on the square table, the left and right ones already empty, still holding a trace of warmth. The two guests clearly hadn’t left long ago; one chair was neatly tucked in, the other askew, with a bundled scroll left on it.

"I really don’t have the qualifications to be considered a king, just call me Gongsun Ce," Gongsun Ce scratched his head, "I suppose you are the Harmonization God?"
