Chapter 747 -741: Terrifying Conclusion
New novel đŹhapters are published on freŃwebnoŃ”el.com.
This is a terribly frightening prospect.
In such an alliance, differentiation can occur easily. If the Flame Nation just promises to supply several countries with Gene Optimization Fluids, the whole alliance would collapse in an instant. In that situation, it would be hard to predict which sideâs alliance would have the greater power. Not to mention, the current weaponry of the Flame Nation is not merely on par with the North Federation, but it has entirely surpassed it.
Finn Lewis did not take these peopleâs thoughts to heart. He knew that the middle-aged manâs presence was to promote him. And, probably, it was also to attract firepower towards Lewis because many of the people present today were there for the gene optimization fluid. Now, with the middle-aged manâs presence here, people will surely shift their focus towards him and not concentrate as much on Lewis.
Following the wedding, there was a buffet dinner, which was an opportunity for everyone to interact.
âYour Highness,â the voice of Luna Starfield rang out.
âWhat is it?â Finn asked.
âMiss Jasmine Davis has returned. Sheâs brought along three transport spaceships; I estimate that the total population is above three hundred thousand,â Luna Starfield responded crisply.
âHmm, howâs the environment on Mars?â Finn nodded.
âMost parts of the crust have stabilized and wonât go through major changes. Iâve marked out several dangerous areas which could be managed later. In a month or two, the entire planet will go through a quiet period, and the forest coverage on Mars is increasing rapidly. As for the fauna, weâre continuously releasing animals onto the planet,â Luna Starfield stated clearly.
âSo youâre saying that Mars has formed a basic ecological balance, right?â
âYes, including the ocean where weâve released a Planetary Adaptive Genetic Modification Group, a dynamic balance is basically formed. Our current detections donât show significant problems, itâs perfectly fine to settle a few hundred thousand people there,â Luna Starfield confirmed.
âInitiate the immigration plan then,â Finn contemplated for a moment. Given that Jasmine Davis and her group had arrived, it meant that his task was completed without any problems. It was time to quickly start the immigration plan from Earth. After all, when the number of immigrants from Earth was too small to start with, it would then be a struggle to integrate these people. While a few hundred thousand people doesnât seem like much, their worldly knowledge easily exceeds anything the people on Earth could offer. Therefore, Lewisâs plan is to eliminate any potential threats at the bud. The best option would be to integrate them amongst the local population at a time when theyâre still wary and cautious.
A few years later, by which time these immigrants have assimilated, any attempts to stir up trouble would be futile. To be honest, the reason why Finn agreed to Jasmine Daviâs request in the first place was due to their background. Luna Starfieldâs investigation showed that these people were refugees from distant places, and they lived in very harsh conditions. Despite coming from the advanced Galactic Federation, their life was nothing but misery. However, these space refugees can now lead a better life on a complete planet.
They would be cautious and wouldnât entertain ideas of superiority, which is why Finn allowed them to stay. If ordinary citizens of the Galactic Federation came here, they would consider themselves superior, making it impossible for them to integrate. Itâs unlikely they can assimilate in a short period of a few decades.
In such a situation, Lewis would never let it happen. For instance, even for the present society, disregarding individuals from the North Federation, a commoner from the Flame Nation, in its early stages of development, if they were to go to Liga State, or East Mountain Kingdom or West Mountain Kingdom, they would feel superior than people from these countries. So, itâs strange, but when you feel superior, you certainly wonât feel the need to fit in.
âAs you command, Your Highness,â responded Luna Starfield.
Right after Luna Starfieldâs voice died down, Zeroâs voice popped up once more, âNew task: Complete your studies at the Galactic Federationâs Noble Academy in seven months and expand your territory to be no less than that of a minor royal family. Your territory should not be the smallest among the royal families. This task cannot be refused. If you refuse, everything you gained will be forcibly taken back.â
âDamn it,â muttered Finn Lewis. He stood stock-still, unable to resist cursing. Although compulsory missions had appeared before, none had ever been as demanding. A task like this essentially threatened his life. Lewis knew how vast the territory of the royal family was. Now, it was required for him to accomplish the task in just seven months, refusing was not an option.
And, no rewards were mentioned either. It appeared the task just ended like that, âZero, I need an explanation.â
âYouâll get an explanation when you complete the task. For now, only decision of whether to complete or not is to be madeâ, Zeroâs cold, emotion-free voice replied.
Lewis was taken aback by the severity of the task with its potential implications. No one in his position would refuse. For now, he did not have a choice, he had to move forward.
âI accept the task,â Lewis declared seriously.
âGood Luck,â said Zero, before disappearing.
Finnâs expression darkened considerably. It seemed as though he had to speed up a lot of things. Seven months was an extremely tight schedule. Now, processing matters on Earth alone would require a month of his time. This meant that Finn had only six months to complete Zeroâs task. And currently, he had no clue about how to proceed.
