Chapter 1227: Chapter 1221: Extra Story – Returning to the Past Plot_1 Chapter 1227 -1221: Extra Story – Returning to the Past Plot_1 This part of the side story, which was previously cut with a single stroke, was later reviewed and deemed suitable for the audience.

It recounts how Finn Lewis returned to the past to earn points.

Finn Lewis is currently in the northwestern part of Proud Continent.

Even in the modern era, this region is mostly uninhabited, let alone two hundred years ago when Proud Continent had a population of just over three hundred thousand.

For the time being, Finn Lewis hadn’t visited the ranch that Henry Lewis had bought but instead went near a harbor city in the northern part of Proud Continent, Darwin Port.

The modern population of Darwin Port could hardly be called large, numbering only one hundred and twenty thousand, even less than the population of a county in Flame Nation.

It was only comparable to the population of some of the larger towns.

...

Finn Lewis was on the outskirts of Darwin Port, looking at the modern city.

He took a deep breath and then simply said, “Zero, we can start now.”

As Finn Lewis’s voice fell, a violent burst of blue light erupted from his body.

The blue light instantly enveloped Finn Lewis, then suddenly contracted inwards, and he disappeared entirely.

Once again, that familiar sensation came over him, and when Finn Lewis opened his eyes, the air around him felt much hotter.

However, unlike the scene Finn Lewis had seen before, now when he raised his eyes, all he saw was desolation—there was not a soul around, only the distant direction of Darwin Port, where there seemed to be some smoke rising.

Finn Lewis looked around; he was the only one in the wilderness.

He immediately said, “Deploy two T1000s and Wise Lewis, and exchange for eight T800s, including all of the ships that were pre-ordered.”

“Points deducted,” Zero replied, and suddenly, a large hole burst open beside Finn Lewis.

Wise Lewis and the two T1000s emerged from the hole.

They were not real humans, so Finn Lewis’s storage space could accommodate them without causing any harm.

Finn Lewis quickly retrieved the eight T800s he had exchanged for.

Their clothing had already been prepared, all in styles similar to those from a previous dynasty.

They didn’t carry heavy weaponry; each was only armed with two pistols.

Of course, Finn Lewis wouldn’t need those.

At the moment, he was out of place with his surroundings.

Finn Lewis was dressed in modern, rather refined formal attire—an anomaly in this era, like a crane standing out in a flock of chickens.

Finn Lewis would have liked to change into clothing more suitable for the time period, but Wildcat couldn’t create clothing on its own; it could only replicate from scans.

Thus Finn Lewis had to wear this sharp formal wear, but that’s when he started to appreciate another advantage of the Wildcat.

And that was the protective suit’s ability not only to offer strong protection but to maintain constant temperature.

Even though it should be autumn outside, Finn Lewis didn’t feel chilled.

“What’s the current time?” Finn Lewis asked Wise Lewis, who could confirm the current time with Zero.

“It should be March of the year 1837,” said Wise Lewis.

1837.

Finn Lewis paused for a moment but then quickly realized the discrepancy in the flow of time between the two timelines.

The last time Finn Lewis was here was supposed to be in his home country, during a time of heavy snowfall, which certainly meant it was winter.

If it was winter in 1836, then it was understandable that it was now the year 1837, as Finn Lewis had spent nearly half a month in the modern timeline.

Four or five months had already passed here.

While thinking this, Finn Lewis started walking towards Darwin Port in the distance.

The port wasn’t too far away, but without roads and surrounded by trees, it took them roughly an hour to get there.

Finn Lewis even spotted some kangaroos in the distance observing them, seemingly unaccustomed to seeing someone like Finn Lewis, showing no fear at all.
