Chapter 2024: Chapter 2020: So It’s a Prison

"I’m really curious to see what this lowly creature called a Dragon looks like now," said Tang Zhong.

Then he looked at the demon leader in front of him.

The demon leader’s face looked somewhat unpleasant at this moment.

Tang Zhong thought this reaction was just too normal.

After all, to the demons of the Blood Demon Realm, these Dragons are enemies. Once captured, they must be closely guarded and absolutely cannot be allowed to escape.

The Dragon that’s presumably captured now must be locked up in a dungeon, heavily guarded, preventing anyone from getting close.

But since Tang Zhong was here, he needed to save it.

And he planned to rescue the Dragon in the simplest way.

"What? Is it difficult?" Tang Zhong asked, looking at the demon leader.

The demon leader quickly replied, "No... it’s not that, it’s just that this Dragon is of great importance. The higher-ups have said that unless people from the Blood Demon Realm and the Wily Demon Army come, no one else is allowed to approach."

"So are you saying that I can’t approach it now either? Since you said people from the Blood Demon Realm can see it, why obstruct me?" Tang Zhong retorted coldly.

Now, whatever is said, he must see that Dragon.

The other party mentioned people from the Blood Demon Realm, so he would pretend to be one of them.

The demon leader, upon hearing that, looked Tang Zhong up and down: "You... are you from the Blood Demon Realm? If you want to see that Dragon, you must provide the passcode. Without it, you can leave."

What the hell is the passcode?

Tang Zhong started to get a headache. Was it necessary to have a passcode for a small place like this?

More importantly, Tang Zhong had no clue about the passcode. If he said the wrong thing now, it would mean failure.

So he couldn’t mention the passcode.

And there was only one way not to mention the passcode.

Tang Zhong looked at the demon leader in front of him and slapped him across the face.

With a loud smack, the demon leader was knocked to the ground, his face ripped open.

"You think you have the right to know the passcode? Stop wasting time and let me in," Tang Zhong said coldly.

Since this place was under the Blood Demon Realm’s control, and they were known for their ruthlessness, he hoped his unreasonable behavior would fool them. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Though he wasn’t sure if it would work.

The demon leader, bewildered by the slap, stared at Tang Zhong with confusion: "Sir, why did you hit me?"

"You ask why I hit you?" Tang Zhong replied coldly.

He went straight up and kicked him, giving the demon leader no chance to retaliate.

The demon leader lay trembling on the ground, looking at Tang Zhong with even more bewilderment: "Sir, I don’t think I’ve ever offended you."

"Offended? I said I want to see the Dragon, so why are you blocking me? What do you mean? Do I have to give you face now?" Tang Zhong glared at the demon leader coldly.

The demon leader now covered his face, completely subdued, and quickly said, "No... no need, there’s no need to give me face. Please, this way."

Upon hearing this, Tang Zhong, though unsure if the demon leader was truly subdued, sensed no issue from his tone, so he didn’t say much more and walked forward.

The demon leader led the way, heading deeper into the transportation planet.

Indeed, in the Blood Demon Realm, strength rules. If a person is strong enough, they can disregard others. Isn’t that the case with these demon leaders now?

The two of them entered an automatic door.

The demon leader walked to the door’s front and began inputting the retina scan.

Once the scan was complete, the door opened.

From behind, Tang Zhong observed and felt the Dragon’s aura becoming more intense, just ahead.

It seemed that the Dragon was indeed imprisoned here without any issue.

Now, Tang Zhong’s task was to ramp things up and slowly erode the demon leader’s will.

Then he said coldly, "Hurry up, why are you dawdling? I’m asking you something."

"Right away, right away, it’s all good now," the demon leader replied.

He quickly approached the door, waving Tang Zhong in: "Sir, come in. The Dragon is imprisoned here."

This place seemed like a cage, and as Tang Zhong entered, he heard eerie howling around him.

The sounds were so haunting, as if stepping into the Eighteen Levels of Hell.

The cages held various creatures, either missing limbs or having their legs chopped off.

In addition to that, a stench of blood filled the air.

Observing the people and creatures around, Tang Zhong gained a deeper understanding of the Blood Demon Realm’s savagery and lack of morality.

The creatures detained here were likely those whose territories were overtaken by the Blood Demon Realm.

Unless something unusual happened, these individuals had to be rulers of other realms.

As Tang Zhong walked in, all eyes turned toward him, blood-red and intense.

In one cage, an old man suddenly rushed toward the bars, biting the iron rods with his teeth and reaching out: "I’ll kill you all, you demons! I’ll gnaw your bodies with my teeth, swallowing your bones and flesh."

The crazed old man was struck by a rod in the hand by the demon leader, who snapped his arm with a brutal swing.

The old man screamed in agony.

Then the demon leader kicked him in the stomach, sending the old man flying and coughing up blood.

But no one cared for the old man.

The demon leader approached Tang Zhong apologetically: "I’m sorry, sir, for the disturbance. These old things always shout when someone like you arrives. Their families have perished, yet they dream of revival. Such foolishness..."

Tang Zhong understood what had happened to the beaten old man and smiled slightly: "Indeed, very foolish. But he’s not worthy of my anger. After all, such ants aren’t even worth my notice."

His words were enough to ease the demon leader’s concerns.

As expected, the demon leader chuckled: "That’s right. Under the leadership of the Blood Reversal Realm Master, our Blood Demon Realm is destined for glory."

"Alright, enough with the chatter. I want to see the Dragon now. I have no interest in anything else," Tang Zhong said coldly.

The demon leader nodded promptly: "Please don’t worry, sir. I’ll take you there immediately, and you’ll soon see the Dragon."

"Good, I feel like tearing off a piece of its scales," Tang Zhong said.
