Chapter 405: Chapter 404: A Tier 7 Abomination
The surrounding darkness twisted violently.
Then it swung.
RIIIIIP!
The claw tore through the air. A massive gray slash shot toward Alix. Everything in its path died.
The blood fountain behind it lost color. The cavern floor disintegrated. Even the ambient Qi was erased.
This wasn’t merely an attack. This was destruction itself.
The three heads laughed wildly. They had devoured countless lives.
Tier 5s.
Tier 6s.
Even the three Marshals. Now they had found another meal.
Yet...
Alix remained standing exactly where he was.

His expression didn’t change. His gaze remained calm, almost indifferent.
As though he were observing something mildly interesting.
The gray slash rapidly approached.
Then Alix finally moved. His right hand slowly rose.
The moment he did, the entire underground cavern trembled violently.
The blood fountain at the center began erupting uncontrollably.
Ancient runes shattered one after another.
Cracks spread across the stone floor for kilometers.
The Decay Law filling the chamber suddenly became unstable.
As though something far more terrifying had entered its territory.
The three heads stared at him.
Confusion appeared in their eyes.
Instinct.
Something deep within the abomination’s twisted existence was screaming.
Danger.
The creature didn’t understand why. The enemy before it was clearly only a Tier 6.
Yet every instinct it possessed told it to run. Unfortunately, It was already too late.
Alix calmly looked at the incoming gray slash. The attack carried the power of Decay itself.
Anything below Tier 7 would likely perish instantly.
Even Quasi-Tier 7 experts would be severely injured.
Yet Alix merely spoke a single word.
"Burn."
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
Scarlet flames erupted around him, not ordinary fire.
But a Tier 6 fire skill fused with the Law of Fire itself.
The moment it appeared, the entire underground world transformed into a sea of crimson.
[Tier 6 Skill: Infernal Sun.]
A miniature sun materialized above Alix. Its size rapidly expanded.
Ten meters.
Thirty meters.
One hundred meters.
The terrifying heat instantly vaporized the surrounding blood mist.
Even the blood fountain began evaporating.
The Decay Slash collided with the burning sun.
Then something unbelievable happened.
The Decay Law was burned away.
The gray energy vanished as though it had never existed.
The abomination froze.
The three heads widened their eyes. Alix remained expressionless.
Then another skill activated.
[Tier 6 Buff Skill: Flame Sovereign Body.]
BOOOOOOM!
Countless fire runes appeared across his skin.
His body became wrapped in blazing crimson flames.
The surrounding space distorted from the heat.
The Fire Law around him instantly grew several times stronger.
Then another.
[Tier 6 Buff Skill: Heart of Eternal Ember.]
A powerful heartbeat echoed from within Alix.
THUMP.
THUMP.
THUMP.
Every beat caused the surrounding fire element to become denser. More violent, and destructive.
The underground chamber began melting. Stone turned into magma. Ancient pillars collapsed.
The abomination finally moved.
ROOOOOOOAR!
The three heads screamed simultaneously. Dark gray energy erupted from its body.
The Decay Law surged wildly.
The creature slammed both claws into the ground.
[Tier 7 Law Ability: World Rot.]
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
Gray waves exploded outward, and everything began dying.
The magma cooled instantly. The flames weakened. Even the stone beneath Alix started decaying.
This wasn’t an attack. It was a domain.
A world where everything would eventually rot away.

The three heads laughed madly.
"DIE!"
"DIE!"
"DIE!"
Alix looked around calmly.
Then he lifted a finger, a simple gesture. Yet an overwhelming amount of mana erupted from his body.
[Tier 6 Skill: Heavenly Lightning Spear.]
CRAAAAAAACK!
The heavens seemed to split apart.
A gigantic spear made entirely of lightning appeared above the cavern.
Thousands of lightning dragons coiled around it.
The spear itself carried the Law of Thunder.
The surrounding darkness shattered. The Decay Domain trembled.
Then the spear descended.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The world exploded.
The entire cavern disappeared beneath endless lightning.
Stone pillars vaporized. Mountains above collapsed.
The blood fountain exploded into countless droplets.
The abomination screamed. Half its body was obliterated instantly.
Gray flesh scattered across the battlefield.
The creature was blasted through multiple stone walls.
Yet it wasn’t dead.
The Law of Decay immediately began restoring its body.
Flesh regrew.
Bones reformed.
The three heads laughed once more.
"Food..."
"Food..."
"Food..."
Alix watched quietly. Then he nodded slightly.
"So that’s how it works."
The creature wasn’t regenerating through vitality.
Nor through mana. It was using the blood fountain.
Every time it was injured, the blood fountain sacrificed more blood to rebuild its body.
An endless cycle.
The creature’s attack continued to grow.
The massive sphere of Decay Law hovering above its heads expanded rapidly.
One hundred meters.
Three hundred meters.
Five hundred meters.
The surrounding space could no longer withstand the pressure. Dark cracks spread through the air like shattered glass. The stone pillars supporting the underground world began collapsing one after another.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Entire sections of the cavern crumbled.
The three heads stared at Alix with endless hatred.
The crying head screamed.
The laughing head shrieked.
The terrified head howled.
Their voices merged into a horrifying chorus.
"FOOD!"
"FOOD!"
"FOOD!"
The enormous sphere descended. Everything beneath it began dying.
The remaining stone structures turned into gray dust.
The blood mist evaporated. Even the surrounding Qi was consumed.
This attack was far stronger than anything the creature had used before.
A true Tier 7 attack infused with the Law of Decay.
Yet Alix simply stood there.
His black robes fluttered gently.
There wasn’t the slightest trace of concern on his face.
Instead, two elemental runes appeared around him.
Fire.

Lightning.
The runes filled the entire cavern.
The pressure they released caused reality itself to tremble.
The creature suddenly hesitated, instinct screamed at it.
But its corrupted mind had already lost the ability to retreat.
Alix slowly raised his hand.
Then the countless runes ignited simultaneously.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The underground world vanished beneath a sea of elemental destruction.
The two different elemental attacks erupted at once.
Gigantic pillars of fire.
Heaven-shattering lightning.
Countless law-infused attacks collided with the descending sphere of decay.
For a brief moment, everything became silent.
Then...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The explosion that followed shook the entire mountain range.
The ground above shattered. The mountain peak collapsed.
Thousands of tons of rock were launched into the sky.
A shockwave spread for hundreds of kilometers.
Nearby mountains cracked apart. The entire underground world disappeared.
Not damaged, or destroyed, but erased.
The cavern ceased to exist.
The mountain itself ceased to exist.
From the outside, it looked as though an invisible giant had ripped the entire peak from the world.
Dust clouds rose into the heavens.
A mushroom-shaped cloud appeared in the distance.
For several moments, nothing remained except destruction.
Then the dust slowly began to settle.
Alix stood in midair. Beneath him was an enormous crater.
The mountain was gone. The cave was gone.
The underground chamber was gone. Everything had been reduced to rubble.
Yet, Alix’s eyes narrowed.
At the center of the crater stood something completely untouched.
The blood fountain.
Not a single scratch marked its surface.
The ancient runes engraved around it continued glowing faintly.
The blood continued flowing upward before falling back into the basin.
As though nothing had happened.
As though it existed outside the destruction.
Alix looked genuinely surprised.
Then he smiled.
"Oh."
"That’s good stuff."
For the first time since entering the cave, genuine interest appeared in his eyes.
Anything else would have been annihilated.
Even ordinary Tier 7 artifacts would likely have suffered some damage.
Yet this thing remained completely unharmed.
Suddenly...
A horrifying roar erupted from beneath the rubble.
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!
The sound shook the heavens.
A gigantic mass of gray flesh exploded out from the crater.
Chunks of stone flew in every direction. The creature emerged once more.
But this time, it looked different. Its body had regenerated.
Yet the process was imperfect. Additional limbs protruded from its torso. Several mouths appeared across its chest.
The blood fountain behind it began pumping faster.
Thump.
Thump.
THUMP.
The sound echoed across the entire crater. The blood inside the fountain started rotating.
The ancient runes illuminated one after another.
An even greater amount of Decay Law poured into the creature’s body.
The surrounding sky darkened.
Everything within thousands of meters started decaying.
The creature’s power rose higher. Even Alix could feel it.

The thing was becoming stronger. Much stronger than before.
The three heads opened their mouths simultaneously.
This time, their voices were no longer filled with hunger.
Only hatred.
"YOU..."
The words echoed like thunder.
"DESTROYED..."
The blood fountain trembled violently.
"OUR..."
The Decay Law exploded outward. The sky itself turned gray.
"HOME!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
