Chapter 459: Chapter 363: God of the Human World (Part 1)
Compared to the others sprawled on the ground like dead dogs, Kaius was in a slightly better state.
He was on one knee, which was sunk deep into the soil.
A blue light rippled from his body in continuous waves, attempting to counteract the terrifying pressure.
But it was utterly useless.
He was utterly horrified. He had only ever felt such pressure from his father.
In fact, this pressure was even stronger than that of his father—the leader of the Western Theater Command, a Tier Five Human War God.
’Who on earth is this person? Could it be the Empress from the Southern Theater Command?’
As this thought crossed his mind, Kaius raised his head and scanned his surroundings, trying to locate his assailant.
Soon, his gaze landed on the sky overhead.
Although it was the middle of the night, as an Evolver, his eyesight was sharp enough to clearly make out the person’s features.
It was a burly man with white hair, blue eyes, and an indifferent expression.
However, his pupils constricted the moment he got a clear look at the man’s face.

He was no stranger to this man; he had seen his face before in the replay Jerald had cast.
Despite some changes in his appearance, Kaius could still confirm the man’s identity.
It was the very target he had been searching for.
’But how is this possible?’
’Before I came here, I’d already run a full background check. He was supposed to be nothing more than a slave from the Steel City.’
’Even if he was hiding his true strength, it absolutely couldn’t surpass the level of a Celestial King.’
’To be safe, I even brought several Celestial Kings with me.’
’But now... he’s actually a Tier Five Human War God!?’
"Interesting. A Half-step Tier Five, plus numerous Tier Fours. You’re certainly cautious. No wonder you dared to come looking for me!"
In mid-air, Hu Qi chuckled softly. He looked down on the group below, a playful expression on his face.
He appreciated their methods; one should always go all out against an enemy.
But appreciation was one thing, and it wouldn’t stop him from acting.
He stepped forward on the empty air.
Instantly, a dazzling blue Ice Domain erupted from the void beneath his foot, spreading out rapidly.
It expanded in a radial pattern, crashing down to envelop everyone below and instantly freezing them in place.
Seeing this, Kaius felt his body rapidly going numb. He knew he was no match for this man.
He immediately let out a low roar.
"HRAAAGH! BREAK!"
Now that he knew the man’s identity, he understood that this matter would not end peacefully.
’This man doesn’t care who my father is.’
’After all, he already killed my brother. Why would he hesitate to kill me?’
Therefore, without a moment’s hesitation, he played his trump card.
His black trench coat billowed wildly. On the mask he wore, silver patterns began to flow like living creatures, shimmering with a flowing light.
A sphere of black light enveloped his body.

In that instant, it tore through the terrifying pressure.
The light wrapped around his figure, turning him into a streak of Flowing Light that shot into the distance.
He moved at an incredible speed, as if teleporting. In a single instant, he reappeared a kilometer away.
Kaius didn’t spare a single glance for the Celestial Kings he’d left behind.
His only thought was to escape this place as quickly as possible.
As for fighting a Tier Five Human War God? He wouldn’t entertain such a thought unless he was out of his mind.
The gap between Tier Four and Tier Five was as vast as the heavens and the earth. Even though he had reached Half-step Tier Five, he had yet to complete his final transformation.
The two couldn’t even be compared.
Suddenly.
"And where do you think you’re going?"
Hu Qi’s voice suddenly echoed in Kaius’s ears like the whisper of a Devil from Hell, making his scalp tingle with terror.
The next moment, an afterimage flashed before his eyes.
CRACK!
The black light enveloping Kaius shattered like an eggshell, exploding into countless motes of light that quickly dissipated.
At the same time, the silver mask on his face exploded, and flying shards cut two bloody gashes across his cheeks.
But Kaius had no time to worry about that.
The next instant.
The hair on his body stood on end. An intense, mortal terror washed over him like a suffocating shroud, making it almost impossible to breathe.
"AHHH!!!"
His face contorted in a savage snarl as he barely managed to raise his arms to block in front of him.
BOOM—
In an instant.
An incredibly deep boom erupted, like thunder cracking right next to his ear, making his eardrums ache.
A blinding white shockwave erupted from the point of impact, expanding in a violent circle through the air and spreading madly in all directions like a surging tide.

Wherever the shockwave passed, the air screamed, as if churned by a giant, unseen hand.
Kaius, who was now several kilometers away, shuddered violently.
Then, at an even more horrifying speed, he was sent flying back the way he came.
His body became a blurry black line as he shot straight toward a low mountain.
With a sickening crunch, Kaius’s body pierced straight through the mountain without any resistance.
The rock inside the mountain instantly disintegrated from the force of the impact, sending debris shooting out in all directions like shrapnel.
Immediately after, a massive cloud of dust and smoke billowed out from the other side of the mountain.
TAP... TAP...
The sound of footsteps emerged from the dust cloud.
The billowing dust parted as if cleaved by an invisible blade, scattering to either side to reveal a figure.
It was none other than Hu Qi, tall and burly, with his white hair and blue eyes.
In his hand, he dangled Kaius, who was unconscious and limp as a dead dog.
