Chapter 409: Chapter 347: Breaking the Realm

Shallow Wave Zone.

Within a certain area.

Two Spirit Realm creatures were locked in a fight to the death.

At this moment, one was a blood-red lobster monster as massive as a mountain, its shell glinting with a cold, metallic luster in the gloom.

Facing it was a blue bird whose feathers resembled flowing, azure flames. Each feather danced with crackling arcs of electricity, casting an eerie blue glow upon the surrounding seawater.

SKREEE!

The blue bird attacked first. Like a bolt of blue lightning, it shot toward the lobster monster, accompanied by a deafening clap of thunder.

As it drew near, it beat its wings fiercely, and countless arcs of electricity, like a swarm of writhing silver snakes, spread out to engulf the lobster monster.

The lobster monster showed no weakness. It swung its giant pincers, which collided like two shifting mountains. The impact sent blasts of water from the Sea of Sumeru whistling toward the divine bird like cannonballs, carving deep trenches in the sea wherever they passed.

The blue bird nimbly dodged to the side. The shockwaves grazed past it, exploding into rings of ripples in its wake.

Immediately after, the blood-red lobster monster’s long antennae swept out like steel whips.

The blue bird couldn’t evade in time and was struck on its left wing, instantly losing its balance.

But with its powerful control, it quickly stabilized itself and used the momentum to peck at the lobster monster’s eye with its sharp, blade-like beak.

The blood-red lobster reacted with incredible speed, raising one of its giant pincers in an instant to block the vital spot.

The blue bird’s sharp beak struck the pincer, sending a shower of dazzling sparks into the water.

For a moment, the two were locked in a stalemate.

Their strength was clearly evenly matched.

Yet neither had any intention of retreating or backing down.

In the Sea of Sumeru, this was a common sight.

Life and death were a constant confrontation, and the law of the jungle—the strong devouring the weak—was laid bare.

Every Spirit Realm creature possessed its own unique abilities. The roles of predator and prey could be reversed at any moment.

Typically, the weaker party would only flee if the difference in strength was immense.

Since the two were so closely matched in power, that was naturally not going to happen.

Just as the two were entangled in their struggle.

A fist-sized white light, like a cunningly aimed arrow, shot through the core of their clash from an unbelievable angle. Without losing any momentum, it then whistled away into the distance.

The force generated by the two clashing Spirit Realm creatures didn’t seem to hinder the white light in the slightest.

Witnessing this, the two Spirit Realm creatures, deep in the heat of battle, abruptly froze.

Their bronze-bell-like eyes filled with shock and disbelief.

Clearly, they had never expected such a strange event to occur out of nowhere.

’What was that white light?’

Suddenly, the surrounding waters of the Sumeru Sea began to churn violently, and a terrifyingly high temperature swept through the area.

They looked up.

And saw a crimson-gold streak of Flowing Light suddenly appear, charging toward them.

PFFT!

The crimson-gold Flowing Light vanished in a flash.

Both the mountainously huge blood-red lobster and the blue bird wreathed in electric arcs...

were directly run through by the Flowing Light’s Piercing.

Before they could even let out a cry, their massive bodies instantly turned to ash and vanished on the spot.

Two lines of Crimson text appeared before his eyes.

Within the crimson-gold Flowing Light.

Hu Qi’s expression was indifferent; he paid no mind to the two Spirit Realm creatures he had dispatched so easily.

At this moment, his attention was focused entirely on the orb of light that was continuously fleeing before him.

From time to time, he would strike out, trying to intercept it.

But the thing seemed to be protected by the lingering power of that True God.

Although its light had dimmed somewhat compared to before, he couldn’t stop it no matter how he attacked.

This had led to the current situation.

’Still, from the looks of it, it can’t hold on for much longer.’

’But neither can I.’

Thinking of this, Hu Qi sensed a faint weakness emanating from his soul.

Instead, he slowed down slightly, stopping the process of burning his Spirit Seeds.

’If this goes on, my two Spirit Seeds will be truly ruined before I even catch my target.’

With this in mind, he summoned his panel even as he continued the chase.

His gaze fell upon one of the columns.

[Spirit Seed Technique (Perfection) | Spirit Seeds: Nightmare Demon Elephant Spirit Seed (Damaged 31%) △, Divine Spirit Seed (Damaged 26%) △]

...

At this moment, both of his Spirit Seeds were damaged to varying degrees from being burned.

Visibly, the two Spirit Seeds had become almost translucent.

If he continued, the result waiting for Hu Qi would be the destruction of his Spirit Seeds, completely wiping out the essence he had accumulated in the previous world.

If it were anyone else, even if they could restore the burned Spirit Seeds, it would require an immense amount of time and effort.

But Hu Qi was different.

He possessed the Crimson panel.

He looked at the modifiable Triangular Runes that had appeared behind his two Spirit Seeds.

Clearly, this meant Hu Qi could spend Modification Points to restore the damage to his Spirit Seeds.

As for the number in the Modification Points column, it had shockingly jumped from over 130,000 to the current 160,000.

The reason for such a large increase was only partly due to the Spirit Realm creatures he had casually killed along the way.

More importantly, it was from the destruction of that previous world of colorful bubbles.

From which he had reaped over twenty thousand Modification Points.

However, because it was a result of his clash with Xi Zhongsi, the deaths of some of the Extraordinary beings were likely not credited to him; otherwise, the amount might have been even higher.

Now, he looked at his two Spirit Seeds.

With a thought.

"Crimson! Repair the Nightmare Demon Elephant Spirit Seed and the Divine Spirit Seed."

As his thought settled.
