Chapter 912: Part 2: The seniors fell silent
4th Zone-Special Base
Jeremy Night returned to his room. He was in a good mood. He liked the reactions of everyone. Hereafter, they wouldn’t dare to say anything to him.
At least, they wouldn’t do it to his face. He then took a cold shower. The bath lasted for 20 minutes. He then walked out and changed into comfortable clothes.
He then walked up to the window and opened it. A cold breeze brushed against his face.
Jeremy felt his mind clear. He looked at the other buildings. There were lights. Some people were awake.
Buzz!
The next second, his device buzzed. He picked up the device and saw that he had gotten a message. It was sent by Elder John.
He opened the message to read it. Elder John congratulated him for the successful mission. His eyes gleamed with a twinkle.
It appeared that the news had spread across the base. I think the news will reach the ears of the head of the base, Elder Sandra.
If he made a good impression, then he could get a chance to enter the top three zones in the future. He then replied back to the text.
After doing that, he pushed away those thoughts and continued to look at the view outside. The wind continued to blow.
He began to think about the next day. He had planned to improve his techniques. He decided to focus on training his muscle control as well.
When the plan formed in his mind, he gained confidence. He then spent a few minutes appreciating the view.
Then he closed the window and went back to sleep.
The following day,
He woke up early. After getting out of bed, he started doing his morning routine. The routine lasted for one hour.
He then entered the small practice room. He closed the door and turned on the switch. The natural energy from the inlet entered the room.
The natural energy filled the room in the blink of an eye. He then came to the middle and sat cross-legged on the ground.
He closed his eyes and began to run the breathing method. As he began using the inner healing method, the natural energy entered his body.
He circulated the natural energy. The cells in his body greedily absorbed the energy. It didn’t take long for the unknown beast egg inside his mental zone to become active.
The unknown beast egg began to absorb the natural energy as well.
2 hours later,
He ended the practice. He stood up, went to the console, and turned off the switch. The natural energy began to recede.
When the natural energy had dried up, he exited the room. He then went to take a bath.
20 minutes later,
He changed into a different uniform and left the room. He was going to the training facility. When he came to the ground floor, he came across Elder Leah, who stopped him from leaving.
"Jeremy Night, I heard you hunted down the hybrid dogs. Your name has become popular," Leah said with a smile.
"I wanted to prove my worth to others. Hereafter, no one will question me," Jeremy replied from the heart.
He forgot that the person in front of him was an Elder.
Leah let out a chuckle. She was impressed with the young man. Not only her, but the other elders had a good impression as well.
"Where are you going?" she asked.
"I’m going to the training facility," Jeremy replied.
"I heard a senior student tried to cause trouble. Don’t pay attention to them. There are factions here. They might be rattled by your performance," Leah said.
"I will be careful," Jeremy replied.
A few minutes later,
He arrived in front of the training facility. He went inside and saw a few Beast Tamers inside. He then looked for the available rooms.
He found one and entered. The space inside the room was wide. The door behind him shut automatically. The room was enclosed from all sides.
His attacks would land on the special walls. They could withstand the attack. He then collected his thoughts and began to train.
He unsheathed the blade and began to perform the "Blade One" move. It was at the proficient stage before. He needed to advance the technique to the expert stage.
Time passed.
After spending enough time on that technique, he switched to a new technique called "Shadow Slash."
Outside
The beast tamers started coming to the training facility. Most of them were newcomers and first-year students.
Among them, the people from the 4th zone were here as well. Oscar Fletcher, Sarah, and the rest of their friends had come to train.
There were a few seniors from the second and third year. The seniors were here for recovery. Some of them were injured. They had come here to relax.
They couldn’t help but talk about the things happening in their special base. The name of Jeremy Night was being discussed.
"We have a STRIKER in our base."
"They are known for strong close-combat fighting skills. But they can’t use their lifeline beast."
"Yes, their lifeline beasts are mostly worse. But we should not underestimate them."
"The STRIKER in our base can kill across two tiers. We may not be his match in the future."
Hearing that, others started having a heated discussion.
Oscar and his friends heard the conversations as well. They were shocked. They had been hearing about the person ever since they arrived here.
How could someone skip two tiers? It sounded unbelievable to them. But the seniors were taking it seriously. This meant the news was true.
Oscar’s eyes flashed with a gleam. He was truly intrigued. He wanted to see the person as well.
Sarah and the others were curious. But they didn’t know where he was right now.
"I heard this person is staying in the same building as ours," Sarah said.
Hearing that, Oscar turned towards her.
"After practice, we will go and meet him," Oscar said.
Hearing that, the others nodded their heads as well. They wanted to meet the famous Tier-3 Beast Tamer.
