Chapter 118: Camila’s lie
In his mind, Jack just wanted to have some fun and try to make them his own under his own capabilities, without the power and support of his ability.
After he took them under his control and conquered them, then he would affect them with his ability and make them completely loyal.

After entering the home, Jack sat on the chair prepared for him and placed both of his hands on the table and started tapping it while listening to this Mexican beauty’s sweet voice.

Daniela, who was in the kitchen, came outside when she heard her sister Camila speaking to someone. She immediately realized that the person had arrived.
As per instructions, when she went outside the kitchen, she gave a respectful greeting to Jack.
"Hello, Mr. Jack. Thanks for visiting our humble home."
She spoke as per the script her sister had prepared for her and then stood in the corner without intervening in their conversation.
Jack, seeing the fiery, hot-tempered Daniela acting this obediently, thought this must have been Camila’s training.
He also noticed the house was small and compact. The old paint on the walls was slowly peeling off because it had not been repainted for a long time.
Many cracks ran through many areas of the walls. It must have been an old home; who knows when it was built.
But everything was simple and very clean inside the house. This showed the good discipline of the sisters. Jack’s eyes roamed around every part of the house.
He noticed that there were no family photos in the house and also no signs of any other person living in this place other than these two.
Jack looked at Camila and asked,
"Were you two living alone? Where are your parents?"
When Jack asked the question, Camila, who had been speaking enthusiastically, stopped her speech.
Suddenly, complete silence filled the room. Daniela, who saw her sister’s silence, knew that the old memories must have been triggered again.
"You, don’t ask anything irrelevant. Is there any need to ask about our personal information?
I already knew that from inviting you to a meal, nothing good would come."
Camila, whose mind felt like a roller coaster because of all the painful memories of the past lightly resurfacing in her mind,but she soon regained her calmness quickly.
She turned toward her sister and signaled her to close her mouth.
"Mr. Jack, don’t take any offense. We are orphans. We don’t have any parents. We live alone and take care of ourselves.
I think now you can understand how important this project and company are for us. Our whole future depends on this. We have invested so much time in this matter."
She once again signaled her sister, and Daniela immediately understood the meaning.
She entered the kitchen and started to bring out all the dishes prepared. Even though it was home-cooked, everything had been thoroughly prepared with great care and sincerity.
Jack noticed Camila’s lie clearly. He understood there must be a story behind this matter. While thinking this, his mind was soon diverted by the fresh smell of food attacking his nose when Daniela opened the kitchen door. He watched Daniela bringing the food one by one and arranging it on the table where they were sitting.
Camila also took a wine bottle that was placed under the table and poured a glass for Jack and herself.
She raised her glass and said, "I apologize for the previous offense caused by my sister." Then she gulped down the wine in the cup.
Jack smiled lightly and looked at Daniela standing nearby.
Camila immediately signaled her sister once again. Daniela immediately followed the script.
She took a cup, poured herself some wine, and drank it in a gulp.
"I apologize for speaking without consideration yesterday."
The slight smile on his face immediately broadened further.
"Alright, sit down, sit down.
I’m not a petty person who would hold a grudge over this small matter. After all, you two were friends of Rachel. I won’t give you a hard time over this matter.
But business is business. I won’t show any mercy in that matter. State your conditions and terms for selling the game you two created together and for your employment under the company Rachel is about to start. Except for shares in the company, I will satisfy any other conditions."
To Camila, the light hope inside her heart immediately shattered because of the words that had just been spoken by Jack.
After all, Rachel had already given them so much hope and built a huge dream in their minds about everything before.
Daniela, who was sitting near Camila, suddenly had her eyes turn red. As if with a slight touch to her face, both the tears and the anger she was trying to hold back would flow out at any moment.
But she controlled herself, as per her sister’s instructions. Yesterday, when they reached home, her sister had ordered her that no matter what happened during the negotiation, she should not speak unnecessarily.
Before, she had already broken that promise when that person asked about their parents. This time she controlled herself and left everything in the hands of her sister.
Camila looked at Jack and asked,
"Sir, did Senior Rachel know about the matter you were talking about?"
Jack gave a cold smirk at Camila and said,
"It doesn’t matter whether she knows about this matter or not. As the investor of this company, I will make this important decision myself. Later, I know how to convince her."
Then he looked at the quick-witted twin, Camila, who was thinking further about how to handle this matter deeply inside her mind.
And Jack was excited inside because the plan was going in his desired direction.
When he was about to speak, suddenly someone shouted from outside.
