Chapter 211: Selling Items To Elora
Jaxon didn’t say a word.
He simply clutched his empty Hero Summoning Card to his chest with his eyes blank as he slowly walked toward the heavily fortified entrance of his family’s estate.
Elora watched them go, her face turning impassive.
Once they were safely inside the perimeter, she tapped the dashboard, and the heavy doors hissed shut, perfectly sealing the cabin once more.
She smoothly shifted the car back into drive, smoothly merging back into the flow of neon-lit city traffic.
Elora drove in complete silence for a few minutes with her hands resting lightly on the glowing steering wheel.
She glanced over at Silas through the reflection of the windshield.
"Do you want to be dropped off somewhere specific, Silas?" Elora asked, her tone carefully neutral. "Or do you have somewhere urgent to be? It has been four, almost five entire days since we initially entered the Sovereign Realm so your Territory might be a main priority."
Silas considered the question.
Aeliana had been safely unsummoned and returned directly to the Blessed Land barracks.
She would undoubtedly relay the full report to Eluned and Morwenna, apart from that, Blessed Land was not in danger.
"No," Silas replied, leaning his head back. "I am not urgently heading anywhere tonight. The territory is secured."

Elora nodded slowly, her icy blue eyes flashing with a sudden glint of determination.
"Good," Elora said softly. "Because there is somewhere specific I want to take you today."
Silas’s Warlord paranoia instantly spiked.
He narrowed his golden-ringed eyes, staring at the side of her flawless profile.
Taking him to a "secondary location" was usually code for an ambush.
But he was currently sitting on 4400 UP and possessed a Gold Core. If she tried to betray him, he would simply freeze her car from the inside out.
’I might be forced to kill her too.’
"Fine," Silas begrudgingly agreed, letting out a sigh as he casually crossed his arms over his chest.
He secretly clutched his right hand into a tight fist, keeping his mana pathways perfectly primed for instant combat as she drove silently through the city.
As they navigated the sprawling, elevated highways, Silas’s mind immediately pivoted entirely back to his primary objective.
Right now, more than anything else in the world, he desperately wanted to get his hands on some new high-tier spells as soon as humanly possible.
He needed destructive offensive elements like Fire or Lightning to complement his defensive water and ice magic since he needed to hit that Adept Mastery in eight elements.
But buying even Tier 1 spell scrolls from the Lord Association marketplace was expensive.
He already had a significant stash of Spirit Credits in his account but to purchase the volume of scrolls he needed, one required a whole lot more liquid capital.
Silas uncrossed his arms, turning slightly to look at Elora in the driver’s seat.
"Elora," Silas broke the silence. "Would you be interested in conducting a private transaction right now?... Do you want to trade a treasure or two that I acquired during the Secret Realm expedition in exchange for liquid Spirit Credits?"
Elora didn’t take her eyes off the glowing road, but her interest was visibly piqued.
The Verinda family possessed very high financial resources, but finding genuine uncorrupted Secret Realm loot was always highly valuable for networking.
"I am always open to mutually beneficial commerce, Silas," Elora replied smoothly with the City Lord’s daughter instantly slipping back into her corporate element. "What exactly would you like to trade? I don’t mind purchasing artifacts directly from your inventory, provided they meet standard quality protocols."
"Could you find where to park first?" Silas instructed.
Elora smoothly guided the supercar into a designated parking alcove on the side of the highway, engaging the privacy wards of the vehicle.
Silas didn’t hesitate.
He raised his right hand, opening his Lord Inventory interface.
A blue screen materialized in the air between them, illuminating the dark cabin of the car to Silas and then he reached into the digital screen.
With a soft hum of spatial magic, he brought out an ornate beautifully forged silver combat helmet.
It was the pristine Valkyrie helmet that he had taken from Harper in exchange for providing her a roof over her head back in the desert.
He had originally meant to share this specific piece of armor with Valerius as a gesture of goodwill, but given everything that happened after including tectonic collapse and the arrival of Thor, both of them had completely forgotten about the loot split.
Silas placed the heavy silver helmet gently onto the center console.
"This is a Tier 2 Defensive Artifact," Silas stated, tapping the side of the helm. "It increases baseline physical resistance by thirty percent and is in flawless condition."
He reached back into the glowing blue grid.
Clink!
He brought out a stunning intricate gold and sapphire necklace that practically hummed with water mana.
It was one of the fifteen treasures that Aeli had nabbed from the treasures that Valerius had gotten.

"This on the other hand is a Tier 2 Magical Catalyst," Silas added, placing the glowing sapphire necklace right next to the helmet. "It reduces mana consumption for water-affinity spells by fifteen percent and also flawless."
Elora leaned over the center console with her icy blue eyes critically analyzing the two artifacts.
She didn’t need to physically touch them since her own Lord interface automatically scanned the items, verifying their authenticity and structural integrity.
"Impressive," Elora murmured, clearly satisfied with the quality of the dungeon drops.
She tapped a series of complex commands into her own glowing, translucent interface hovering over the steering wheel. "I will purchase both of them from you for exactly three million Spirit Credits... That is ten percent above standard Association market value, considering their pristine condition."
Silas didn’t haggle. Three million was a windfall for two items he had literally gotten easily.
"Deal," Silas agreed instantly.
Elora swiped her hand across her interface.
DING!
His phone vibrated.
’The hell... how does she have my account?’ Silas thought but he didn’t say more after that.
Honestly he was okay as long as the money had arrived.
[Received: +3,000,000 Spirit Credits.]
[Current Financial Balance Updated.]
Silas watched the numbers completely skyrocket in his account with his heart fluttering at the satisfaction.
Combined with the money he had, he really had the liquid capital required to walk into the LA Building and buy whatever spell scrolls he wanted.
As soon as the credits hit his account, Elora gracefully reached over the console.
She tapped the physical items, and both the silver Valkyrie helmet and the glowing sapphire necklace instantly dissolved into a flurry of blue pixels, safely transferred directly into her own secure Lord Inventory.
’How do these people even link their cars to their Lord Inventories?’ Silas thought.
With the transaction flawlessly concluded, Elora smoothly merged the supercar back onto the highway, accelerating rapidly through the neon-lit canyons of the city.
They drove in comfortable silence for another fifteen minutes, navigating away from the dense towering residential sectors and moving toward the highly exclusive fortified commercial district of Valoria.
The supercar smoothly decelerated, pulling up a long perfectly paved driveway lined with glowing palm trees.
The car glided to a complete stop. Elora engaged the parking brake with the engine humming to a silent halt.
She reached for the handle and gracefully stepped out of the vehicle, her shoes clicking sharply against the polished pavement.
Silas frowned with his paranoia flaring again as he pushed his door open and stepped out of the car.
He stood up, adjusting his heavy trench coat, and looked around at their surroundings.
They were not at a restaurant... They were not at an estate either.
Instead they were standing on an incredibly massive illuminated guarded showroom floor.
They were at a... Car dealership?
But it wasn’t just any standard dealership.
It was a massive ultra-luxury vehicle showroom.
The floor was lined with dozens of incredibly sleek and armored magically reinforced supercars, hover-bikes, as well as assault transports that cost more than most small border bases.
Silas blinked, utterly confused.
He looked at Elora, who was standing confidently in front of her own vehicle.
"Elora," Silas asked, his voice dripping with profound confusion. "Why exactly are we here?"
Elora turned to him, offering a rare genuine and incredibly soft smile that completely melted her usual icy exterior.

She tucked a stray lock of blond hair behind her ear, her cheeks flushing a sudden brilliant shade of pink under the showroom lights.
"I brought you here to buy you a car," Elora answered smoothly, her voice carrying a completely uncharacteristic warm affection. "Isn’t that exactly what Girlfriends do for their boyfrien—"
Elora abruptly paused. Her mouth snapped shut with an audible click.
Her icy blue eyes went completely wide in panic as the brilliant pink flush on her cheeks violently exploded into a blinding shade of crimson that covered her entire face and traveled all the way down her neck.
In that critical horrifyingly embarrassing moment, Elora’s perfectly calculated genius-level noble mind realized exactly what she had just said.
In her eagerness to reward him for his bravery, she had completely fumbled the script.
Elora had mathematically skipped a whole fundamental stage in her intricate romantic plan.
She hadn’t even officially confessed her feelings to him yet!
...
Elora Verinda was a creature of uncompromising logic.
She was the City Lord’s daughter and she had been raised from birth to treat every single human interaction as a calculated game of chess.
’As Father advised me...’
She didn’t have friends... she had assets.
She didn’t have crushes... she had acquisition targets.
And her blueprint for acquiring Silas Graves had been incredibly simple, yet flawless in its design.
The major foundation of the blueprint dictated that during the extended downtime within this specific Secret Realm, she would execute Phase One.
She would find a secluded romantically charged moment in the desert to formally confess her attraction to him.
She would casually bring up the idea of dating, explicitly using the shared trauma and isolation of the Secret Realm as a psychological excuse to force them closer together.
Trauma bonded people worked... It was a proven psychological fact.
Once the initial dating protocol was formally established, she would initiate Phase Two: The Financial Flex.
She would use her massive near-infinite Verinda family wealth to casually buy him incredibly expensive gifts.
Heavy armor, skill tomes, mythril weapons. She would do it under the guise of ’investing in her partner’s survival.’
Proceeding smoothly from there into Phase Three, the constant influx of high-tier gifts and close physical proximity would naturally begin to break down his paranoia.
He would gradually get comfortable enough to drop his guard. He would start divulging the deep, heavily guarded secrets of his rapid growth, his territory, and the true nature of his power.
It was a perfect and completely foolproof corporate romance plot.
But as of right now, standing under the blindingly bright, fluorescent halogen lights of an ultra-luxury vehicle dealership at two in the afternoon, Elora realized with clarity that she had completely fumbled the execution.
She hadn’t just skipped Phase One.
She had aggressively bulldozed right past the first half Phase Two, completely bypassing the actual confession and the emotional groundwork, leaving them awkwardly stranded dead-center in the middle of Phase Three!
She had just offered to buy a multi-million-credit transport vehicle for a man she hadn’t even asked out to dinner yet...
Elora squeezed her eyes shut for a microsecond.
She took a deep shuddering breath with her icy blue aura subtly flaring to instantly cool the violent, embarrassed flush that was desperately trying to spread across her pale cheeks.
She was the daughter of the City Lord... She did not retreat from errors as instead she simply pushed entirely through them.
Elora opened her eyes, locking her piercing blue gaze directly onto Silas’s golden-ringed pupils.

"I love you," Elora confessed.
Her voice was completely deadpan, stripped of all pretense, and delivered with the uncompromising bluntness of a military casualty report.
Silas blinked.
He didn’t gasp, hell he didn’t even shift his posture.
He simply stood there on the pristine concrete of the dealership parking lot, his black shirt flapping slightly in the night breeze, staring at her with an expression of exhausted bewilderment.
’Again?’ Silas thought, mentally rubbing his temples.
For some completely inexplicable reason, his life had turned into a chaotic magnet for noble women with massive complexes.
First, it was Harper, throwing herself into a meat grinder of elites and practically getting herself impaled just to prove her twisted devotion.
Now, it was Elora Verinda.
The Ice Queen of Valoria City.
The woman who had wanted to recruit him a few days ago was now dropping a deadpan love confession in the parking lot of a luxury car dealership.
’Next, who exactly is it going to be?’ Silas aggressively wondered. ’Seraphina? Is she going to drop a solar fireball on my barracks and ask me to marry her in the ashes?!’
