Chapter 37: Chapter 37: Fyr Ritual part 2
[Few Minutes Earlier]
Riley bounced back, evading the fist of the giant, a collision between the fist and the earth shook the city, a massive earthquake erupted but that was just the beginning, manifesting six plasma radiation orbs without hesitation.
They were all fired against Riley in unison.
Riley sprinted, evading the plasma radiations thrown against him, each radiation orbs carried the power of a C4 bomb, explosions kept rising but they weren’t enough to restrict Riley’s nimble movements at all.
Riley charged forward, navigating the battlefield, he kept evading, a direct confrontation against this nine foot monster was suicidal, a direct hit would severe him in pieces.
The Monster was already getting tired of Riley’s evasion, It’s roar released waves of mana radiations, covering hundreds of miles in process, a plasma beam nearly unavoidable, he could not evade it.
Riley was strucked by the attack.
His teeths gritted, he could feel his blood cells boiling, despite increasing his mana resistance through his Mana Sensitivity Talent, it was ineffective against this indomitable power of the abomination.
Riley was thrown into a building, a result of the catastrophic attack.
He groaned, slowly emerging from the building he crashed into, he spat out bloods from his mouth, he was shocked to see his blood colored green, a result of the radiations taking effects in his blood cells.
" Tch "
" I thought I was going to kill this thing more quickly but I guess I was wrong, this isn’t a Mogorth, it may have red eyes but it’s stronger, if my guess is correct, it’s mana pool is thrice greater than the normal red eyed Mogorths "
" Making it very hard to kill and not to talk of its grand size " Riley said, he cleaned the blood on his lips, wiping off his sweats afterwards.....his eyes were focused on the approaching abomination.
Each step it took was a testament to it’s audacious power, it’s radiations being thrice as densed as the normal red eyed Mogorth, a perfect personification of a major catastrophe, an infamous one at that.
" BLOODNIGHT... BLOODNIGHT, WHERE ARE YOU? "
Its distorted voice erupted, covering the atmosphere with intense pressure, it kept moving forward, crushing everything in its path, Riley could be seen hiding under the shade of a destroyed building.
Carefully watching the abomination move forward.
He positioned himself, causing his mana sniper rifle to appear on his hand, he focused his gaze, he tightened his grip on the sniper, the abomination sensed a presence behind it, swiftly tilting it’s gaze.
Its eyes fell upon Riley....the monster was about to charge forward when Riley clicked the trigger, firing a single bullet, the abomination was sent staggering back the moment a bullet strucked it’s right eye.
The bullet blinded the abomination’s right eye.
This triggered the abomination, enraged by what befelll it, it charged forward, moving at full speed, it covered it’s distance between itself and Riley Bloodnight, bringing down its claws for a single reason.
A lopsided smile appeared on the lips of Riley Bloodnight, he watched as the shadows of the abomination completely covered him, the claws of the monster descended against it, aiming to rip him to shreds.
Bang.
A gunshot was heard, Riley evaded the claws, he diverted the radiations from hitting him directly, he manifested his shotgun, firing a bullet directly against the abomination, this shot knocked out the abomination.
Riley landed on his feets, staring at the struggling abomination.....a grin escaped his lips.
" At first I was confused, based on Alpha’s explanation, only the Bloodnight Household held the main power to kill Mogorths, I thought to myself.....what made my bloodline so impressive that we were the infamous Mogorth slayers "
" What could we do that others couldn’t? "
" That’s when I remembered what powers I possessed, my Talents may be special only applied to me but I could manipulate bloods, although not yet stable but my blood manipulation powers were no ordinary "
" Its my inheritance as a member of the Bloodnight Household, that’s when I thought to myself, was blood manipulation the key to killing you bloodthirsty fucks? " Riley questioned.
" I applied my blood in the mana bullet i generated from this shotgun, I had to distinguish it and you confirmed my theory just now.....thanks for that "
" Now I know what I must do "
A dark grin appeared on the face of Riley Bloodnight, he stretched forth his left arm, placing his shotgun directly against his left arm, and he pulled the trigger, firing a bullet directly into his left arm.
His bloods came rushing out, this few minutes was enough for the monster to heal, slowly standing up from the ground, a loud growl was heard..... Riley was unfazed at the sight of the monster.
A mark imbued on his neck glowed brightly.
" Blood Manipulation Art: The Hytraxx Mark " Riley chanted.
Particules of his bloods filled the air and a transfigured looking mark appeared on his shotgun, the scents of bloods in the air repulsed the Abomination, causing it to become extremely agitated.
The abomination charged forward.
Releasing destructive waves of mana radiations simultaneously, it’s sharp claws were laced with instant kill poisons, a single wound it unleashes would instantly kill the victim and Riley knew it.
He keenly observed the abomination, Riley charged forward as well, the abomination swung down its claws, tearing through the ground with so much power, Riley evaded the claws of the monster.
He avoided direct hits that would be the end of his life.
He did a backflip, evading another direct attack, he sent three heavy rocks flying against the abomination but the monster shrugged it off, it fired another radiation attack but Riley escaped it.
Using his reflexes and speed to escape being torn apart by the monster, what emerged afterwards was terrifying, Riley’s eyes widened.....he was too distracted that he didn’t notice the wind attack.
Blood splashes across space itself..... his right arm was chopped off by an aerial attack.
Riley fell back, gritting his teeths while trying to suppress the pains he felt, using his bloods to gently reattach his right arm, a secret blood manipulation art he forced himself to learn in a few seconds.
" That thing has unlimited stamina, I don’t...the longer this thing drags on, the faster I’ll die, I have to kill this thing within two minutes " Riley said to himself, he stared at his environment.
He gently calculated the distance between himself and abomination.
Riley’s gaze darkened afterwards, he swung his right arm, he observed if his right arm which he reattached was stable or still lacking in power, he calculated the co-ordinates after confirming the state of his body.
His eyes glowed brightly.
His Mana Sensitivity Talent helps him calculate his mana output and input, helping him co-ordinates and control how much mana he needs to use, a calculator which gives him the actual numbers.
Its not only used for his mana but his opponent’s Mana as well, giving him the direct answer and advantage.
He’s the one who will put the calculations to a good use.
His Mana Sensitivity Talent acts as a transmitter while his Hunter’s Insight Talent acts as a decoder, they both work accordingly and simultaneously as well, but his Hunter’s Insight Talent is his second instinct.
Riley caused his shotgun to vanish, he manifested his sniper rifle, applying the Hytraxx Mark on the sniper, he positioned himself, tension grew.....every second, the abomination closes the distance between itself and him.
Determined to rip Riley apart but Riley stood prepared.
Bang!
The first gunshot erupted, firing a bullet into the heart of the abomination, a second came in the second bullet.
Bang!
The neck of the Abomination received the bullet, and the third bullet was unleashed a second later.
Bang!
A headshot, the screeches of the abomination filled the air, applying his blood art in his bullets but this time, the Hytraxx Mark increased the intensity of the blood bullet, the three weak points of the abomination was hit.
This was its end.

Its corpse collasped on the ground, bled profusely... drowning in its own pools of bloods, Riley gazed at the corpse before him, a sigh escaped his lips...he redrew his sniper that was when it was unleashed.
[Now]
The Fyr Ritual was activated, with the black walls covering the entirety of Chicago, the stenches of death filled the air, Riley was perplexed at the sight of this power, all existing Zuptures were purged.
Slaughtered by the effects of the Fyr Ritual.
Riley turned his gaze to see the corpse of the abomination being crushed by the pressure, he couldn’t believe his eyes, he noticed it...this power was something that affected no human present.
Only monsters which doesn’t belong to this dimension.
" What in the hell is going on here? "
