The entire alliance of mid worlds and their communication system was now a grave threat to some major worlds. They might not have minded the alliance before, but once word of recent happenings got out, the regional overlords might wish to destroy all of the mid worlds!

The group wouldn’t mind selling Wan Qiu if that guaranteed peace, but the key was, it wouldn’t. Hence, the core members of the entire alliance were both panicked and extremely anxious. This was almost impossible to fix!

Well, Reincarnation had run off, so there wouldn’t be much trouble from that major world for a while.
Just as Wan Qiu fretted over what to do, her expression snapped with surprise and she immediately regained a respectful demeanor.
“Wan Qiu congratulates the senior for your resounding victory!”
No matter what she thought privately, these guys were the victor!
In that case, they would be the new tyrants of the eastern region. As strong as the alliance of mid worlds might be, they could not overcome those from the four regions. They could only bow their heads and carry out Li Hao’s bidding for the moment.
Reincarnation had been an adequate check on these people before, but he’d run off. Could Arctic Frost and the other worlds stand against these vicious fellows?

The rest of the eighth rank worlds had many eighth ranks left, even though they numbered only eleven worlds now. Yet, what could fifteen eighth ranks accomplish?
Were they all of one heart? Could they all unite together in defiance?
The New Martial and Silver Moon factions also had numerous eighth ranks now.
“You’re far too polite. I need to thank Fellow Daoist Wan Qiu for your information.” All smiles, Li Hao appeared with his people. “If it wasn’t for your notification, I wouldn’t have known that the Human King was surrounded! Neither would I have known that eight eighth ranks had been mobilized. That was almost the end of him! Thank goodness that the heavens smiled upon us...”
What heavens? What kind of nonsense is this? The truth is, you guys were too ruthless!
Wan Qiu was initially at a loss for words, then quickly found her footing. “Senior, Elder Myriad Changes has responded to us. He will travel as quickly as possible to discuss the partnership with the senior. Some other core elders of the alliance will come as well...”
Truth be told, the response had just arrived.
Wan Qiu wasn’t certain if Myriad Changes had received the message before this. But once Reincarnation ran after Li Hao killed the eighth ranks, the normally mysterious elder quickly issued a response.

Who knew if he’d been frightened by the turn of events or really had just received word? Whatever the truth was, she wouldn’t speak of it at present.
“Then we thank the fellow daoist for his support!” Li Hao greeted the news joyfully. “That’s perfect, we need some time to digest all of our gains from battle as well. We will be spending a bit of time here, so I’m afraid we’ll have to trouble Fellow Daoist Wan Qiu!”
“Not at all, not at all... It is this junior’s honor for the seniors to dwell within the Ninth City!” Wan Qiu flicked a glance at those behind Li Hao and inwardly clucked her tongue. This was a savage group.

“Ah, yes.” A new thought occurred to Li Hao. “Does the fellow daoist know anything of the kunpeng chaos beast that travels with the Reincarnation master?”
Wan Qiu blinked, but quickly responded, “I’m not sure, but if the chaos beast is from Chaos Sky, then it’s probably the Exalted Emperor Peng Cheng! It formed an alliance with the Chaos Sky master years ago, then set foot into ninth rank with help from Chaos Sky.
“Peng Cheng has become the leader of the chaos beasts and monster spirits under Chaos Sky’s rule. Chaos Sky is human, so a portion of the chaos beasts and monster spirits are unwilling to take orders from him. It’s more palatable on the surface with Peng Cheng present.”
Li Hao nodded.
The chaos beast was strong at roughly four thousand dao rules for an eighth rank. It was less than the Human King, but not a weak player among the eighth ranks. Weak ones were those such as Fog Mountain...
Well, there were some opinions that Li Hao wouldn’t voice aloud. They were too humiliating.
Reincarnation had outright moved his world away. The task wouldn’t have been so simple without the eighth rank chaos beast. If it wasn’t for the kunpeng, the world might’ve been destroyed.
This was when the benefits of an eighth rank chaos beast were on full display. They could easily advance and retreat, taking a world with them!

Li Hao had asked this question because he was curious if the chaos beast might be in contact with the Dragon master. They were both chaos beasts, after all, and eighth ranks at that.
“The fellow daoist grasps an overview of the west. The alliance of mid worlds certainly has a strong intelligence network...” Li Hao murmured with appreciation, sending a frisson of alarm through Wan Qiu.
“We only know of some of the premier powerhouses because they’re famous in the chaos. They’re too far away for us to know much more than gossip!”
Li Hao laughed to see how startled Wan Qiu was. “The fellow daoist has misunderstood me, I didn’t mean anything by that comment. I was able to resolve some of my troubles this time thanks to the fellow daoist’s information. If the fellow daoist’s dao universe simply needs a bit of dao strength to ascend to seventh rank... then... I might be able to provide that help.”
The person in front of him was a world master and a master of dao. Li Hao wasn’t certain if she could set foot into seventh rank. If she only needed a push from topping off energy, then just her previous information alone was worthy of that payback.
The Human King would act the same way if he was aware of the circumstances. Li Hao might not have made it to the battlefield in time without these people’s intelligence reports.
Is this... is this appropriate? Wan Qiu wondered with joy. Can I ask for that?
To sixth ranks, seventh rank was a level that they all looked up to, to say nothing of eighth rank. But could they kill a seventh rank to shore up their own dao universe?

Li Hao vanished on the spot with his people. They’d gained a lot from the last battle, it was better to digest it all sooner rather than later.
He would have one thing off his mind if his teacher set foot into seventh rank now. If seventh ranks exercised a little caution in the outside world, they could live good lives even in the outer regions. Under normal circumstances, eighth ranks would not come for them unless a blood feud was involved.
Eighth rank was the current limit of the chaos. Chaos Sky was the only one in ninth rank. It remained to be seen if that was truly ninth rank or not.

New Martial and Silver Moon had seven eighth ranks between them!
Although the remaining eleven worlds had more than fifteen eighth ranks, far outnumbering New Martial and Silver Moon, could they really all work together? Even if they could, they’d just offended the Dragon master lurking behind them.
What if the four regions attacked from behind, and New Martial and Silver Moon attacked from the front? They’d already worked together last time!
