Chapter 1934: Conclusion of Battle (I)
The tides had fully turned.
Three eighth ranks were dead and Reincarnation exalted emperors were starting to die in droves. Outside the major world, some seventh ranks from other worlds were preparing to flee.
Everything taking place was too horrifying!
The sudden change was very hard to swallow. Several eighth ranks and multiple seventh ranks had died in the blink of an eye!
It was only when Supreme Zhang and the Ash Emperor revealed their presences that those at Reincarnation major world realized that these two core New Martial figures had left. No one cared about the particulars at this stage either. They simply knew that with the return of these two eighth ranks, they stood no more chance of victory.
Those defending Reincarnation might have triumphed since there were more than two dozen seventh ranks. But with the full fledged revitalization of New Martial... it meant that the defenders would likely be unable to come together as one.
“Run!”
The thought was unstoppable once it registered. Ten foreign seventh ranks within Reincarnation shot out of the world. They needed to take advantage of the scant moments they had before the New Martial supreme and Ash Emperor returned!
The Light master wanted to stop them from getting away, but it was a bit difficult for him to hold back so many by himself. He could only set his eyes on a few and prevent those from running off. His primary focus remained on the world itself.
There were more battlefields than the two spots in the eastern region—fighting seemed to have erupted in the four regions as well. But that was too far away since there was a Thunder Region in between the two regions. Worlds near the four regions might pay further attention, but no other exalted emperor would care.
The powerhouses were more focused on the battle over Reincarnation major world.
Eighth ranks in the other major worlds of the eastern region, including Arctic Frost, reacted with extreme dismay. A flurry of messages started up between them. Should they get involved or what?
Was participating in the battle the best decision to make?
The idea was just being proposed when circumstances took a turn for the worse for one of the worlds. Turmoil suddenly erupted in one of them and countless wails rang to the heavens.
“World master!”
Boom!
Rumbles rang in all directions. Exalted emperors closer to that world jerked their heads over with startled looks. Incredulous shock spread across faces.
The world afflicted was the eighth rank world of River! Its world master had just died!
“What is going on??”
“Why did their world master die??”
Various seventh ranks murmured to themselves in the seventh layer of the outer regions. They were pale with fright.
How many days was it since the loss of Gemini, Reincarnation, Sun Moon, Earth Fissure, and now River? These were all eighth rank worlds!!
The sixteen eighth rank worlds set the tone in the eastern region. But it’d been just a few short days since so many unforeseen disasters had taken place. Eighth ranks fell one after another. This was a sight not seen in the last one million years!
“It came from the direction of Thunder Region—the four regions...” Some powerhouses with keener senses collected what information they could. There was fighting taking place on the other side of Thunder Region.
These guys had headed to the four regions and been gravely injured for it!
It was the four regions, again!

Li Hao and the rest had no energy to spare for the four regions or any other eighth ranks that might or might not be dying. They’d killed three eighth ranks on their end, but the enemy still possessed many more.
Reincarnation’s four eighth ranks were all present and accounted for. The eighth rank chaos beast was present as well, alongside five other eighth ranks. All of them were formidable.
Well, all but Drifting Life.
This was a daunting group that blazed with domineering battle strength under the Reincarnation master’s leadership.
As strong as the Human King was and having recovered to peak condition previously, he was forced into spitting blood and madly retreating throughout the battlefield when the Reincarnation master no longer had to devote his attention to dao domains.
The Reincarnation master scowled darkly. Were the four regions that difficult to take down? Almost all of the eighth rank powerhouses in the eastern region were participating in the war. A portion was in this battlefield, a portion had gone to the four regions.
And yet, they were on the losing side in all regions!
Yes, they had many eighth ranks by their sides, but how many had they lost?
Four had died in the blink of an eye. If it wasn’t for the ones revived earlier, more would be dead. And counting Gemini major world...
So many eighth ranks were dead.
The Reincarnation master looked around, suddenly finding his surroundings bleak and desolate.
The Human King, Fog Mountain, dao chess, and Thunder Emperor were all eighth ranks. Li Hao, Number Two, Void, Orchid Forest, and the combined forces of Silver Moon’s dao masters were seventh ranks.
Meanwhile, Reincarnation’s side had barely been constrained. They weren’t even on the back foot! But if he didn’t fully intervene in the battle over his home world, the defenses might fall!
He could sense that several seventh ranks had already died. Some of the foreign seventh ranks began to flee when the battle started to go poorly.
In reality, there was still a chance. Although Reincarnation’s side had lost a few eighth ranks, their peak battle strength had not yet declined.
The Reincarnation master looked at the stumbling Human King with no hint of anger or distaste, just simple calmness.
This man was hard to kill!
So many exalted emperors had mobbed the Human King and hunted the man until now, yet he still remained alive through the plethora of tricks and methods he had up his sleeves. Were reversing yin and yang all that he could do?
Perhaps... he had more tricks up his sleeves.
Meanwhile, Li Hao might be harder to kill than any eighth rank given his control of time.
The eastern region had been defeated.
The Reincarnation master didn’t say anything. He punched through the void to reveal a dao universe hovering behind it. He looked coldly around him and growled, “Retreat!”
They would retreat back to Reincarnation major world!
“Trying to leave?” As much as the Human King was vomiting blood, he struck with a shout and sought to keep his opponents on the battlefield.
Reincarnation was withdrawing!
Well, that made sense since eight eighth ranks hadn’t been able to wipe them out. Reincarnation’s side was now down three eighth ranks. Was he going to wait until New Martial breached his world’s defenses?
He really would be courting death then.
Li Hao and his people acted to stop Reincarnation as well. Dao strength raced through the vicinity and explosions sounded in the chaos. They had to keep Reincarnation and the other exalted emperors here! They could not be allowed to retreat!
However... Reincarnation was a premier existence and the Human King strong only on the surface. He’d reached his limit long ago. Although he could keep battling, he was hard pressed to take down the Reincarnation master by himself.
In fact, their opponents even stood a chance of turning the tables.
If they lost their world in this battle, that would further impact their battle strength. They might be completely lost then.
Li Hao’s expression flickered slightly. Reincarnation could leave if he wanted to, but Drifting Life could not be permitted to withdraw! The man had seen the future of time and endured a blow from the person in the future. He’d experienced an orderly great dao. If he derived any dao comprehension from the experience, that might create a massive threat in the future.
Not only would he interfere with the present, but Li Hao might be nurturing a tiger that would later make food out of him!
The young man had only briefly encountered ordered dao strength, but Drifting Life had personally experienced a complete blow. Anyone with a higher degree of comprehension could easily set foot along another great dao from the incident.
That would be an enormous trouble.
Hence, anyone could survive but Drifting Life!
He wouldn’t even give the other a chance to revive!
There were five more eighth ranks on Reincarnation’s side, Drifting Life brought up the rear. He was a little detached from the group and might be the only one who could be forced to remain behind.
The Reincarnation master would have to retreat through his dao universe if he wished to withdraw. Li Hao’s group would find it difficult to keep any of his members behind. They would be able to do so only with the Dragon master present.
Long Zhan wasn’t here, and even if he was, it remained to be seen who he would actually attack.
A cold look entered Li Hao’s eyes and he made his move. He didn’t act as viciously as he might, projecting the impression that he didn’t really want to stop Reincarnation’s group. The Human King cursed loudly not too far away, also understanding that there was nothing he could do.
Drifting Life had one foot in the dao universe already. He heaved a sigh of relief. This had been entirely too dangerous!
It was time to go!
He might actually die again to these people if he continued to remain here.
The Reincarnation master was on high alert and began to seal off the dao universe. He would fully close the crack once Drifting Life was inside. It was best if the Human King’s group did not pursue them. There could be more trouble otherwise.
Just as these thoughts ran through the Reincarnation master’s mind, Li Hao shouted sternly and sent the star of time forward. Heaven and earth seemed to reverse and time flowed backward.
The current of time energy was focused only on Drifting Life, and just for a split second.
Drifting Life suddenly seemed to retreat. He fell out of the dao universe and the massive crack closed at the same time!
Inside the dao universe, the Reincarnation master colored with shock. He was just about to open the dao universe again to bring Drifting Life inside when the taciturn chaos beast growled, “Leave him!”
Do you not want your world anymore? So many seventh ranks are dead already. Is Drifting Life worth all of them?
The chaos beast nursed an intense dislike of Drifting Life at the moment. If it wasn’t for the man’s incompetence and failure to break the star of time, would they be in their current straits?

Someone like him is better off dead!
There was no need to waste time on someone like him. One had to keep in mind that the New Martial supreme and Ash Emperor were about to arrive at Reincarnation major world. Once they were involved... the world might be completely lost.
The Reincarnation master had already done his best in reviving Drifting Life once.
The man’s expression twitched slightly, also sensing the unsteadiness in the dao universe. Another seventh rank had died during his hesitation. There was no time to waste. If he opened the dao universe again to retrieve Drifting Life, he might be mired down in the battlefield here.
That would be trouble then.
What a pity! Drifting Life had good potential. But it was also immensely infuriating that the piece of trash had consumed so many resources to enter eighth rank and be revived.
And despite that, there was nothing he could do against a Li Hao who was not at full strength!
