Chapter 128: Multiplier Restored.
The following weeks slipped by almost unnoticed.
For Kael, every day followed nearly the same routine. Cultivate. Train. Refine. Rest. Repeat.
It was a monotonous schedule, yet he never once found it boring.
Strength wasn’t something that appeared overnight. It was built through countless hours of repetition, polishing every weakness little by little until eventually even the smallest flaw disappeared.
Before he realized it weeks had quietly passed.
...
Early that morning, Kael slowly opened his eyes.
He had barely sat upright when a familiar blue screen materialized before him.
---
[The cooldown placed upon the Talent: Infinite Reward Multiplier has ended.]
[Current multiplier restored to its maximum capacity.]
---
The moment he finished reading it, a smile spread across his face.
"Finally."
For an entire month, his hands had effectively been tied.
Although he could still enter the Tower, doing so while his greatest advantage remained heavily restricted simply wasn’t worth it. Climbing during that period would only waste opportunities that could otherwise yield incomparably greater rewards.
Now...
That restriction had finally disappeared.
The Infinite Reward Multiplier had returned to its peak.
This meant he could once again continue climbing the Tower without holding anything back.
Still, the past month hadn’t been wasted.
Quite the opposite.
During that time, Kael had thrown himself completely into cultivation.
The Primordial Genesis Sutra continued refining every inch of his body without pause. Every completed circulation strengthened his physique another step, slowly pushing him toward a level that ordinary cultivators could scarcely imagine.
His understanding of Earth Energy had also deepened considerably.
Although he was still far from transforming his own body into a true living weapon, he could already feel himself approaching that direction. Every day of experimentation taught him something new, allowing his control over the energy to become increasingly delicate.
His combat style was also gradually taking shape.
Whenever he had free time, he would enter the instance and spar with Varek until every muscle in his body screamed in protest.
Every battle exposed another weakness.
Every weakness became another lesson.
Bit by bit, his combat instincts sharpened.
Even without climbing the Tower, his strength had continued growing at a frightening pace.
Of course, he hadn’t completely ignored leveling either.
Whenever an opportunity presented itself, Kael would enter nearby Rifts and collect enough experience to steadily raise his level.
After a month of constant training, his status had changed considerably.

At first glance, everything appeared perfectly normal.
However, anyone who paid close attention would immediately notice something strange.
His level had increased dramatically.
His stats hadn’t.
Despite advancing more than thirty levels since reaching ten thousand in every attribute, each of his six primary stats remained completely unchanged.
Not a single point had increased.
Naturally, Kael had attempted to distribute his accumulated Stat Points manually.
The result...
Nothing.
The System simply refused to accept them.
After numerous attempts, he had finally reached only one conclusion.
He had reached a limit.
It wasn’t difficult to understand why.
His current level barely exceeded one hundred, yet his attributes had already reached a level comparable to high-ranking A-Rank Hunters.
Some newly advanced S-Rank Hunters might not even possess stats this ridiculous.
Expecting his numbers to continue rising without restriction had probably been wishful thinking.
Even so, Kael wasn’t particularly worried.
If leveling no longer increased his stats, then there was only one logical explanation.
Another requirement existed.
Perhaps another breakthrough.
Perhaps another evolution.
Whatever the reason, he believed the limitation would eventually disappear once he reached the appropriate stage.
Until then...
He would simply continue leveling.
Sooner or later, the answer would reveal itself.
Combat wasn’t the only area in which he had made progress during the past month.
The Mothlight Guild had also taken its very first step toward becoming a reality.
No...
Calling it a first step almost felt like an understatement.
The guild had already been officially registered.
Its headquarters had been secured.
Its internal operational structure had been established.
The necessary licenses, logistical arrangements and countless administrative procedures had all been completed one after another.
Surprisingly...
Kael had done almost none of it himself.
The person responsible for turning his rough ideas into reality was the very first employee the guild had ever recruited.
Joy.
Thinking about her, Kael couldn’t help but smile.
She was a young Awakened woman with a Business Management Class, a Class that specialized almost entirely in organizational planning, corporate management and large-scale operations.
To be honest...
Meeting her had been nothing short of pure luck.
A while ago, he had deceided to use his monthly use of the Judgment Pulse had.
Since unused activations couldn’t be carried over into the following month, Kael had casually activated the skill while walking through the city, thinking he might as well see whether he stumbled upon anything interesting.
He hadn’t expected much.
Instead...
He found Joy.
Through Judgment Pulse, her status had appeared before him, revealing not only her Class but also several of its abilities.
The moment he finished reading them, Kael knew he had found exactly the person he needed.
Without wasting any time, he immediately approached her and offered her a position within the Mothlight Guild.
Fortunately for him...
She accepted.
Looking back now, it was easily one of the best decisions he had made.
Since Kael spent most of his time cultivating, going to a Rifts or training with Varek, he simply handed the majority of the guild’s preparations over to Joy.
The results spoke for themselves.
Within a remarkably short period of time, she accomplished what would likely have taken Kael several months to complete on his own.
Every report she submitted was organized.
Every problem had already been solved before it reached his desk.
Every department had been arranged with surprising efficiency.
Watching everything unfold, Kael couldn’t help but marvel at just how incredible Class specialization truly was.
His Void Sovereign Class granted him terrifying combat ability.
It allowed him to grow stronger at a speed ordinary people could scarcely imagine.
But if someone suddenly handed him control of an entire corporation...
He wouldn’t even know where to begin.
Compared to Joy, there simply wasn’t a competition.
She was born for this kind of work.
Her Class amplified every strength she possessed, allowing her to perform tasks that ordinary people would struggle with effortlessly.
At that moment, Kael finally understood why Awakened individuals occupied such a revered position within society.
Power wasn’t limited to combat alone.
Even seemingly ordinary professions became extraordinary when paired with the right Class.
The more Kael learned about Classes, the more he realized they weren’t simply tools for becoming stronger.
They fundamentally changed the way a person interacted with the world.
