“HAHAHA, my girl Romy is finally learning the joys of foreplay,” Raphila said happily while ignoring Omniel’s question.
“Sometimes I wonder if I’m even the progenitor of you all,” Omniel said with a sigh. ”It’s your own fault, you know,” Andromeda replied.
“Not you as well, Andromeda?” Omniel asked in a defeated tone.
“Your to lenient on us, which is why Raphi and the others feel they can speak to you that way,” Andromeda replied before adding, “You never see Deverinians treating the Demon King that way.”
“My sibling has always been the stricter of the pair of us,” Omniel said with a sigh.
“Makes me think she really is a woman unlike you,” Raphilia teased.
“Enough, Raphi,” Andromeda said while rolling her eyes before turning back to Omniel and saying, “Progenitor, our entire race respects you; however, maybe you should consider disciplining some of those who disrespect you to teach the others a lesson.”
“Like Raphilia here?” Omniel asked with a smirk.
“Huh!” Raphilia replied.
“Yes, progenitor, I believe Raphi, as the leader of Aaru, would be a prime example to use,” Andromeda replied as she smirked evilly as Raphilia.
“Nooo, Romy, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it,” Raphilia said apologetically while taking Andromeda's hand in her own.
“Oh, now you're sorry,” Andromeda replied while looking away from Raphilia, while adding, “You didn’t seem sorry before; you seemed like you were having fun at my expense.”
“Forgive me, pleaseeeeee,” Raphilia begged before adding, “If you do, I promise to teach you how to satisfy your future husband.”
“You’ve already told me practically everything while you were bragging, though,” Andromeda replied while still not looking away.
“Talking and teaching are two different things, though,” Raphilia answered.
“Hmm?” Andromeda replied as she finally looked at Raphilia with interest.
“If I may interrupt,” Omniel suddenly said before adding, “I would still like to know why exactly you wish to attend the supreme speaker selection.”
“Oh!” Andromeda replied as she realised she still hadn’t explained that before asking, “Because I have recently learned that the man I will spend my life with will be present.”
“Really?” Omniel asked with interest.
“Wait, you know his identity?” Raphilia asked in surprise before adding, like a little girl, “Who is it? Who is it?”
“Please remind me exactly how old you are again?” Andromeda asked with a frown as she took her hand back from Raphilia.
“Three thousand five hundred and eighty-seven,” Raphilia replied.
“And yet you're acting like a teenager,” Andromeda replied.
“That's because I want to know who my best friend will marry in the future. I need to decide if he’s worthy of you,” Raphilia remarked.
“What makes you think you get to decide if he’s worthy or not?” Andromeda asked with a frown.
“Cough, cough,” Omniel coughed to get their attention before saying, “I see no reason to refuse your request, Andromeda. But I must insist that you take a security detail with you.
This mysterious organisation that has suddenly appeared out of nowhere is concerning, especially how they seem to have people everywhere and already have so many ships, yet no one seems to have heard of them before now.”
“It is concerning,” Andromeda replied before asking, “Are you concerned that they might have people here, in the Valhalla Galaxy, progenitor?”
If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
“The thought had crossed my mind,” Omniel replied while nodding.
“Allow me to accompany Romy, progenitor,” Raphilia stated.
“You?” Omniel asked while raising an eyebrow.
Andromeda frowned while saying, “You just want to come so that you can interrogate him.”
“Romy,” Raphilia said in a hurt tone while placing her hand over her heart as she added, ”You wound me.”
“Please, you're not fooling anyone,” Andromeda scoffed.

Milky Way Galaxy, Earth.
Kate Stevens was the CEO of Galaxy Studios, the entertainment company Emily Daniels was signed to, and also the woman Emily had hastily called after returning to her room.
The reason for this was that Kate and Emily shared a secret that very few people knew: they were actually old friends who had known each other since before they both joined Galaxy Studios. However, the reason hardly anyone knew this was because of an even greater secret that only the two of them knew.
“Honestly, what's that girl thinking?” Kate complained as she walked up the steps of Hopkins Bank towards its entrance door.
Kate nodded in thanks to the guard who opened the entrance door for her before she continued to mumble to herself as she passed through, “How can she possibly believe something she learned about from a stream?
A random human found a spaceship that had been buried here for god knows how long, only to leave Earth and travel the known universe, really? As if.
Also said ship is capable of time-travel and can instantly travel across the universe while even being able to set up a subspace relay, which is usually only allowed by the Subspace Relay Deployment and Maintenance Department.
There is no way this is legit and the communicator will work.”
“Welcome back, Miss Stevens,” The bank clerk behind the counter greeted as he recognised Kate before asking, “How can we help you today?”
“I would like to access one of my safety deposit boxes,” Kate replied.
“Of course, which one would you like to access, Miss Stevens?” The clerk asked.
“Box Twelve,” Kate replied.
“Of course, if you would kindly follow the security guard, he will escort you to the vault,” The clerk replied.
“Escort?” Kate asked in surprise before adding, “That’s new, isn’t it?”
“Ah, of course, my apologies, Miss Stevens. I forgot that you haven’t visited our branch in a few years,” The clerk replied apologetically before explaining. “After a breach at our Alamo City branch a few years ago, all branches of Hopkins Bank, including our New York branch, have upgraded their security protocols.”
“Ah, yes, I remember hearing about that on the news,” Kate replied before asking, “It was around the time that Adam Spencer was being falsely accused of murdering his girlfriend, right?”
“That’s correct,” The clerk replied, to which Kate nodded in understanding before the clerk signalled a nearby guard to come over, after which they instructed, “Escort the client to the vault, please.”
“Of course,” The guard replied before turning to Kate and saying, “If you would follow me.”
Kate nodded in response and followed the guard towards the elevator, which they took down to the lower levels where the vaults were located.
As the elevator doors opened and the pair stepped out, Kate found herself before a security checkpoint and metal detector, which was manned by half a dozen guards and stood at the entrance to a corridor.
“These guards will escort you from her, ma’am,” The guard who had escorted Kate said before turning and stepping back into the elevator, which closed behind him.
“Welcome, ma’am. Please empty your pockets and place all metallic and bulky electronic items in the screening tray before placing your hand on the fingerprint scanner,” One of the guards requested before indicating a raised rectangular computer screen, which was slightly bigger than the size of a grown man's hand.
Kate nodded before doing as requested and after placing her handbag and other metallic items in the tray, she stepped towards the indicated screen and placed her hand upon it.
where she placed her hand against the large screen
After placing her hand upon it, the screen lit up and began to scan her print, after which it turned green to indicate that everything was fine.
“Please proceed through the metal detector,” The guard requested.
Kate nodded and did as requested before emerging from the other side, where her belongings were already waiting for her.
“Everything appears to be in order. Please proceed to waiting room three, where a bank representative will deliver your deposit box shortly.
“Thank you,” Kate replied before walking down the hallway to the door of room three, which she opened before proceeding inside and casually sitting down to wait.
A few minutes later, a knock came from the door shortly before it opened, allowing a smartly dressed woman to enter carrying a safety deposit box, which she deposited on the table before saying, “If you need any assistance, please call.”
After speaking, the woman left the room while closing the door behind her.
Kate waited until the woman had left before opening the safety deposit box to reveal only one thing inside it.
Kate picked it up and flipped open a cell phone, looking device, before powering it on and after waiting a few seconds, a holographic screen appeared that said.
[Searching for subspace relay access.]
“This is never going to wo…” Kate began only to stop mid-sentence as the words on the holographic screen changed.
[Subspace relay access detected.]
[Connecting…]
[Connections successful.]
After the successful connection, the words vanished as the holographic screen displayed the homescreen for the universal subspace network.
“No fucking way,” Kate said in disbelief as she gaped at the holographic screen which floated above the communicator.
