The war in his own civilization was not even over, and now he was being asked to help another civilization push forward theirs.
This was pretty damn frustrating for Sein.
Still, after a moment of thought, he agreed to the Invincible General’s request.
He did not really have a choice.
Besides, in the bigger picture, the war in this medium-sized star domain was already nearing its end.
If Sein could truly bring back a legion from another powerful world civilization to reinforce the Magus World, then his contribution in the Rongyue World would pale in comparison to the Dawn Empire’s future support for the Magus Civilization.
Gongsun Wudi, a peak Rank Six powerhouse known for her straightforward nature, immediately assigned Sein to the First Division of the Iron Cavalry.
When she learned that Sein also commanded a group of space pirates, she promptly issued orders allowing the God of Dusk Desire and his companions to enter Rongyue World.

The dominant native species of Rongyue World were humanoid.
However, they were significantly larger—the average Rongyue individual stood between two and three meters tall, while seasoned warriors who had mastered their cultivation could easily reach five meters.
Seeing them, Sein could not help but think of the titans of the Magus Civilization.
Calling these Rongyue beings “little giants” would not be an exaggeration.
One major difference from the titans of Titan World was their hair. Most Rongyue people grew long hair at the back of their heads, usually tied and secured with distinctive ornaments. That was likely a cultural trait unique to their world.
As for weaponry, they favored heavy, practical weapons that were easy to carry, and many of them rode massive beasts into battle.
These people focused on physical cultivation and a power known as “blood qi”.
It reminded Sein somewhat of the Wild Gorillas he had encountered in his early years.
Rongyue World had not developed a system of divine faith. Instead of worshiping gods, they seemed to hold a much deeper reverence for their ancestors.
Different tribes and nations also had their own totems, which symbolized their beliefs.
Drawing on the power of these totems in battle was a distinctive combat style unique to Rongyue World.
Since he had joined the Dawn Empire in the middle of the campaign, Gongsun Wudi did not assign Sein any specific duties. He was left to move freely as he saw fit.
That said, if he simply coasted through the war, it would reflect poorly on the Magus Civilization he represented in the eyes of the Dawn Empire’s powerhouses.
So Sein decided to give it everything he had!
The First Division of the Iron Cavalry that Sein belonged to was considered one of the Dawn Empire’s more elite legions. It was slightly inferior to the Valiant Dragon and Raging Tiger armies, but the gap was not all that large.
The entire division consisted of cavalry. Every soldier rode a mount, each one clad in heavy black armor.
In total, the division numbered around twenty thousand.
Like the Magus Civilization, the Dawn Empire seemed to rely on Rank One or higher beings as its standard fighting force.
As for cannon fodder, Sein spotted plenty of foot soldiers from various races, along with enslaved creatures kept in pens.
The Dawn Empire’s generals had no authority over Sein, and he had no interest in taking command of an Iron Cavalry unit that was not his.
When he reached the designated battlefield, Sein immediately released a two-hundred-thousand-strong angel legion from the Magic Cube.
At the same time, he scattered roughly three hundred thousand Viridescent Seeds across the lands of Rongyue World.
The sudden appearance of the angel legion startled not only the Rongyue forces on the opposing side but also the Dawn Empire troops fighting alongside him.
Moments later, plant giants began clawing their way up from the ground. Their emergence sent yet another wave of commotion across the battlefield.
In terms of raw strength, the mechanical angels refined and reinforced over many years were clearly superior. Nearly every one of them possessed combat power at Rank One or higher.
The plant giants, on the other hand, were less impressive. Created from the Viridescent Seeds given to him by Lorianne, only a small fraction of them reached Rank One. Most were little more than cannon fodder, relying on their massive size and brute force.
But that was enough!
With both legions assembled and ready, the spell Sein had been preparing for so long was finally nearing completion.
As a newcomer, drawing too much attention was not a good idea.
So instead of unleashing overwhelmingly destructive magic, he chose a smaller forbidden spell that was easier to cast.
Forbidden spells were the pinnacle of elemental manipulation. Most beings from the Dawn Empire and Rongyue World had likely never witnessed one before.
The spell Sein chose was called Meteor Fire Rain, a standard magic model commonly used by law-wielding pyromancers of Magus World.
As the Tower Master of Ashes, Sein had naturally modified it to suit his own style.
For example, when channeling pyro elemental energy, he used his signature Ashen Flame.
The incantations he used for certain forbidden spells, along with the exact balance of elemental forces within them, all carried Sein’s personal touch.

Specks of light began to form in the sky above the battlefield.
Back when he was still at the demigod level, Sein had to carefully shape the battlefield environment just to cast a forbidden spell smoothly.
Now, as a Rank Five mage with a far deeper grasp of elemental energies and the principles of magic, casting smaller forbidden spells had become almost instinctive.
Massive meteors, wrapped in raging Ashen Flames, started gathering overhead.
The spell had not even descended yet, but its sheer pressure and the violent surge of elemental energy sweeping across the battlefield were already enough to make nearly every living being shudder.
Faced with that overwhelming, apocalyptical force, the Rongyue creatures on the opposing side were the first to break.
Since the Dawn Empire pushed the war into Rongyue World, its native inhabitants had been forced to either hole up in fortified cities or rely on key terrain and planar nodes for a last stand.
The target of Sein’s spell was a massive city, likely home to tens of millions. In truth, the spell’s range extended far beyond the city itself.
When it struck, entire stretches of land would be wiped out in an instant by the combined power of the forbidden spell and Sein’s Ashen Flame.
Two Rongyue warriors—one at Rank Four and the other at Rank Five—finally could not endure the crushing pressure. They leapt from the city walls and charged toward Sein.
But they did not get far. An eight-winged angel appeared behind him, positioning herself between them and Sein like an insurmountable mountain.
The incantation gradually reached its final note.
Ashen meteors, each pulsing with terrifying elemental force, began to pour down in a relentless storm.
A brilliant meteor shower lit up the skies above Rongyue World.
Yet the falling meteors, cloaked in gray flames, brought not just wonder—but despair, destruction, and a suffocating silence.
Not far from where Sein stood...
Gongsun Wudi stepped out of the tent, a metal helmet tucked under her arm, and looked up.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
A dense meteor shower streaked across the sky.
