Chapter 1804: Heavy Industrial Plane
Sein still remembered the Molten Steel T-Rex.
This formidable Magus Alliance creature specialized in devouring metal.
Back when Sein had first returned to the Magus Civilization, the Molten Steel T-Rex had already left a deep impression on him during battle.
Among the special creatures of the Magus Alliance, it was also one of the ones that benefited most directly from the war against the Gallant Federation.
After all, what path to growth could be more direct than simple consumption?
Whether it was the Gallant Federation’s giant mobile suits or its warships, their distinct alloy armor plating was the Molten Steel T-Rex’s favorite food.
By continuously devouring metal and accumulating it into a new layer of metallic scales over its body, the Molten Steel T-Rex had become one of the few beings among the Magus Civilization’s ranks that only grew stronger the more it fought the federation!
However, when Sein had first returned, the Molten Steel T-Rex had not yet come under Welks’s command. At the time, it had still belonged to another faction within the Magus Civilization.
Now, this formidable creature had become one of Welks’ most powerful subordinates.
From the look of it, Master Welks had also carried out extensive mechanical modifications on it.
Although Welks had joined this front as well, he was not stationed on the same battlefield as Sein.
Still, as long as the war continued to advance smoothly, their paths would cross sooner or later.

Not long after Sein arrived at the designated front, the Magus Civilization’s four legions launched a full-scale assault on the Gallant Federation forces in the Golden Rock Worlds.
As a medium-sized star domain, the Golden Rock Worlds possessed an enormous overall territory.
This vast star domain contained more than a hundred rule-complete planes.
Judging by the number of complete planes alone, the Golden Rock Worlds did not seem much more remarkable than the Shadowbat Star Domain or the Aquaria Star Domain.
However, because the Gallant Federation had poured immense financial and material resources into this star domain, the situation here was very different.
Through technological means, the federation had forcibly transformed numerous demiplanes and even broken planes into clusters of heavy industrial planes.
Compared with life planets, heavy industrial planes required far less investment in ecological modification.
On many of these heavy industry planes, there were barely any federation personnel stationed at all. In most cases, only a small number of operational and maintenance staff remained.
Thanks to highly advanced automated systems, these heavy industry factories could produce all kinds of war machines and spacecraft almost nonstop, even with minimal supervision.
If these so-called heavy industrial planes were counted as well, then the total number of planes Sein and the Magus Civilization legions needed to break through in their offensive against the Golden Rock Worlds rose to 371!
And that was not all. The Gallant Federation had also established small military processing plants throughout numerous asteroid belts across the surrounding starfields.
For Sein and his forces, their task was to destroy every enemy in sight.
As for Steel City’s request to preserve and take over some of the federation’s heavy factories, it had only said to do so if possible.
In the campaign against the Golden Rock Worlds, Sein did not reveal Fermera, his eight-winged angel, right away.
The federal planes assigned to his forces by Master Fathis were not especially difficult to deal with.
Of the four planes, only one housed a significant number of federal combat forces. The other three had relatively few mobile suits and fleets stationed there, with their defenses relying mainly on various forts and automated weapons.
In truth, the outcome of the Magus Civilization’s four-sided encirclement of the Golden Rock Worlds had already been decided the moment Feylis and the others finished sweeping through the outer star domains.
The federation’s garrison forces stationed here, tasked with guarding these vast heavy industrial clusters, were likely already aware of the fate awaiting them.
They rarely tried to break out on their own. Instead, they chose to remain where they were and defend the planes under their control.
Sein did not know what to say when it came to these federal legions.
Truthfully, this Clash of Civilizations had never been a matter of justice and evil.
No matter how righteously the Magus Civilization or the Gallant Federation portrayed itself, or how viciously each side condemned the other, the essence of this war was still a struggle over the core interests of both civilizations.
Those interests included both wealth in resources and control over surrounding spheres of influence.
The Magus Civilization and the Gallant Federation were simply too close to each other to avoid conflict. Once both reached a certain stage of development, war had become inevitable.
The victor would dominate the surrounding star domains, while the defeated would be reduced to vassals.
As for those who fell in the process—whether elite warriors or ordinary people—they could only be regarded as the unavoidable cost, the brief pain, and the necessary sacrifice in the rise of a powerful civilization.
Victory had always been built on mountains of corpses.
“Charge!” Gin roared as he swung his flaming longsword forward.
On this star domain front, Gin was also the first Rank Four being under Sein’s command to launch the assault.
In his combat form, Gin appeared as a flaming giant nearly two thousand meters tall.
Under his lead, millions of Magus Civilization troops surged forward in unison.
The severe pollution caused by the federation’s heavy factories had left the barriers of most complete planes in this medium-sized star domain fragile and easy to breach.
The heavy industrial planes, which had been converted from demiplanes and broken planes, were even more vulnerable.
This was one of the advantages Sein and his forces enjoyed in their assault on the federal legions across this star domain.
From within the space fortress, Sein watched Gin at the center of the planar battlefield, but did not move to join the fight right away.
There was no need. This battle likely would not require his personal intervention.
What Sein was observing was not just the battlefield, but Gin himself.
This was a Rank Four knight who disliked taking losses. During their limited interactions, Sein had already picked up on that trait.
As the leader in this battle zone and the one in control of all the legions under him, Sein needed a clear understanding of the personalities of every powerhouse under his command.
When it came to Gin, Sein had always tried to be fair.
For example, because Gin was usually the one who led the vanguard and launched the first assault, he received a larger share of the final spoils than Sia, Reina, and the others.
Gin noticed Sein’s efforts as well. Not all knights were mindless brutes. Any knight capable of founding an order of his own and grasping the power of laws knew how to keep track of such things.
Gin held Sein in fairly high regard and was certain that his decision to move his entire knightly order to Ashenreach had not been a mistake.
On top of that, Gin had also heard that Sein had increased his younger sister’s salary.
A knight would die for the one who truly valued him.
Of all the law-wielding knights and mages Gin had met, none had matched Master Sein’s generosity.
Even though it was only a matter of hundreds of thousands of magicoins, Gin still took it seriously and was quite satisfied with how he was treated.
Gin pointed forward and roared, “Crush every pest that dares stand in our way!” as he transformed into a flaming giant.
