The only reason why he was not instantly dead was because he had moved his head to the side to dodge the attack to his neck, however, despite doing this, his life was still in danger because of how serious the injuries were.
Corey’s eyes flashed with a cold light, and then his eyes brightened to a blinding degree. He looked down, and then he slammed his hands onto the ground.
A second after he did this, black greenish lines and runes flashed on the ground, and then they disappeared.
Howl!
Another howl resounded in his mind, and this time around, Corey could sense a tinge of anger in the howl.
His instincts screamed at him, and ten golden axes appeared around him from thin air. The air rippled under the power and killing intent of each axe, but Corey’s pure white cold eyes remained on the ground.
The golden axes did not waste a single second, and they attacked. However, twenty manifestations of Corey’s black dual battle axes manifested above him.
Corey’s manifestations blocked the descent of the golden axes, and although Corey had produced twice the number of the golden axes, the power behind the golden axes was almost thrice as much the power behind his Intent.
Loud clangs and explosive shockwaves resounded as Corey’s manifestation of his Intent blocked and destroyed some of the golden axes, however, they were not enough.
Some of the attacks reached Corey, and if not for his Intent which was unique and powerful, his body would be riddled with holes and extremely deep cuts.

Corey’s eyes flashed with confusion and suspicion, and then he looked up. He looked at the massive golden axe which remained in the air and did not attack him despite his act of infecting and obtaining the World Heart Intent of the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal.
