Chapter 186: Chapter 186: Relocation

Chapter 186: Relocation

The words fell like the deafening sound of a thunderclap.

Domain Master Realm.

The mere mention of that transcendent level of power made Caelan’s pupils contract to pinpoints.

In the entire Stormveil City, Domain Master Realm experts could be counted on two hands.

They were the absolute apex of existence — beings whose could destroy an entire city without even lifting their hands.

If this Grandmaster genuinely possessed the connections to mobilize multiple Domain Masters at his beck and call, then threatening his shop wasn’t just foolish — it was suicide.

Rhain’s unshakable confidence behind those words truly hit Caelan’s nerve.

Those dark grey eyes stared at him with the certainty of a man who had only stated an objective fact.

Lord Caelan’s face drained of all color.

"I— I spoke out of turn," Caelan stammered, he hastily cupped his trembling fists in a bow. "Grandmaster, please forgive my impudence! I meant absolutely no disrespect! It was merely... merely my idle concern!"

He hastily waved at his entourage. "We are leaving! Now!"

The wiry Master Alchemist and the rest of the Valemere delegation scrambled to their feet, practically tripping over one another in their rush to reach the door.

On the other side of the room, Lord Ashwin’s stern face was also very solemn.

Clearly, Rhain’s words had also forced him to recalculate his future plans.

"Grandmaster Korryn," Ashwin spoke in a low voice, "Emberford Family also extends its apologies for any perceived offense during today’s proceedings. We... we will take our leave."

He gave a curt bow that clearly cost him every ounce of his dignity to perform.

Lyra followed Ashwin along with other alchemists, her crimson eyes lingering on Rhain’s figure for one final moment before leaving.

The doors opened, and swung shut behind them.

Only two people were left in the silent room.

Rhain, and Elara Thunderwood.

After hearing Rhain’s words, Elara’s face hadn’t changed, but even her heart was also hammering against her chest.

She had gambled heavily by coming here alone, and the gamble had paid off in a way she could never have dared to dream.

Rhain walked back to his chair and sat down casually.

"My apologies for the unpleasant interruption, Lady Elara," Rhain said, his tone returning to its previous composed calmness. "You were saying something about delivering the first herb shipment within three days?"

Elara took a steadying breath, before speaking respectfully, "Yes, I will personally oversee the transfer of the storefront and the delivery of the herbs. I believe this is the beginning of a very, very fruitful partnership, Grandmaster Korryn."

"Indeed," Rhain replied calmly. "I look forward to working with you, Lady Elara."

Over the next fifteen days, the landscape of Stormveil City’s commercial world underwent a seismic shift.

The sudden closure of the Celestial Elixir Pavilion’s original storefront had initially sparked a wave of mass panic among the city’s wealthy elites.

Many feared that the mysterious Grandmaster had packed up and left, or worse, had been quietly assassinated by jealous rivals.

But their despair barely lasted two days.

Under Elara Thunderwood’s meticulous supervision, the relocation of the Celestial Elixir Pavilion was successfully executed.

Situated at the absolute heart of the Thunderwood Eastern Premium District, the storefront occupied an entire fortress-like pavilion — three stories tall, and the entire structure was enveloped by overlapping, high-tier defensive arrays personally maintained by three resident Core Formation array masters of the Thunderwood Family.

The building’s exterior was adorned with luminous golden calligraphy spelling "Celestial Elixir Pavilion" in characters so large they could be read from half a mile away.

Unlike the original modest two-story shop, this new establishment was designed to handle crowds ten times larger.

The first floor served as the main retail space — a vast, open hall running along three walls, each manned by hired attendants from Thunderwood family.

Second floor housed private consultation rooms for high-value clients who wished to purchase in bulk without being seen by commoners.

The third floor was entirely off-limits to the public.

It served as the operational headquarters for Vulcan and his mercenary brothers — a heavily warded command center where intelligence reports were analyzed, shipments were tracked, and security protocols were managed.

On the day the new shop opened its reinforced doors, the scene was chaotic, yet in complete control.

A queue stretching more than three city blocks had formed before dawn.

Silver-armored Thunderwood guards stood at rigid attention along the perimeter, their Core Formation auras creating an invisible wall that ensured complete order.

Any fool who attempted to cause trouble found themselves staring into the eyes of Luka or Dex, both of whom had developed a certain reputation over the past two weeks for being exceptionally creative in their methods of removing troublemakers.

With elite Thunderwood guards constantly patrolling the perimeter and the six Core Formation mercenaries stationed inside, Celestial Elixir Pavilion had transformed into an impenetrable stronghold.

____________

Inside the third-floor headquarters, Vulcan stood respectfully before Rhain.

"Master," Vulcan reported, "Relocation is complete. The new pavilion is fully operational. Lady Elara’s security forces have been exceptional — not a single incident since we moved into Thunderwood territory. They have also established a strict, untraceable weekly delivery schedule. Massive shipments of Epic-Grade raw materials are dropped off securely through the underground channels every seven days. And the revenue for the first week alone has exceeded four hundred million Aetherium Crystals."

"Good. Elara is a smart woman who knows how to maintain boundaries," Rhain noted with a faint nod of approval. "With the supply chain automated and our location heavily fortified, the shop’s future is permanently secured."

With a flick of his wrist, Rhain tossed a glowing spatial ring to Vulcan.

"Inside," Rhain stated calmly, "is a new stockpile of flawless Epic-Grade pills. There are enough supplies in that ring to easily last the shop for the next two months."

Vulcan caught the ring with steady hands.

He didn’t even need to sweep his Spiritual Sense inside to know that he was holding a fortune capable of buying half of a minor sect.

He carefully stored the spatial ring into his robes before looking back up.

"Master, regarding our sales strategy..." Vulcan hesitated for a moment. "With the new, massive stockpile you just provided, should we lift the daily restriction entirely? The demand outside is still ravenous. If we open the floodgates, we could easily quintuple our daily revenue."

"No," Rhain rejected the idea instantly.

"There are specific reasons for this restriction," Rhain explained, "First, I am not a manual laborer. My time is not infinite, and I refuse to chain myself to a cauldron for the rest of my life simply to feed an insatiable market. The shop exists to serve my goals, not the other way around."

"Second, and more importantly, I have no desire to make enemies of the Emberford and Valemere Noble Families unnecessarily."

Vulcan raised an eyebrow, he immediately understood his master’s intentions.

"Our Celestial Elixir Pavilion currently operates exclusively in the high-tier Epic-Grade market. Our pills are priced at more than double the cost of ordinary Epic-Grade elixirs, and our clientele consists solely of the wealthiest elites who can afford such luxury. This is a deliberate choice."

He turned to face the window, gazing out at the darkened cityscape.

"The vast majority of cultivators in Stormveil City are not wealthy enough to purchase our products. They still rely on Uncommon and Rare-Grade pills for their daily cultivation needs. That enormous customer base remains firmly in the hands of the Emberford and Valemere Families. I have deliberately left that territory untouched."

Rhain’s eyes turned cold.

"As long as we restrict ourselves to the premium segment and maintain artificial scarcity, we are a thorn in their side but not an existential threat. Their core businesses remain intact. In such circumstances, rational men will choose to tolerate our existence rather than risk open war against an opponent of unknown depth."

He turned back to face Vulcan.

"However," Rhain’s voice dropped to a chilling register, "if either of those families fails to recognize my restraint and decides to make a move against us, then my patience ends."

A trace of killing intent leaked from his calm exterior.

"If they push me, I will expand production to its maximum capacity. I will flood this city with Uncommon, Rare, and Epic-Grade pills of such superior quality that not a single customer in the entirety of Stormveil City will ever set foot in an Emberford or Valemere establishment again. I will systematically dismantle their commercial empires until nothing remains but debt and shame."

Vulcan felt a chill running down his spines.

His Master’s words carried no bluster, or empty bravado.

It was a simple statement of what he was fully capable of doing, and would do — if provoked.

"For now," Rhain concluded, his tone returning to its usual calm, "we maintain the status quo. Fifty pills per day. Premium pricing. No unnecessary expansion. Let the two noble families keep their scraps, and pray they are wise enough to appreciate my generosity."

"Yes Master," Vulcan responded.
