"How can we bother Teacher Yun with this matter?" Ran Zhengfeng said quietly, isn’t this ridiculous?
Ah Chen’s expression was indifferent: "Mom arranged it, I listen to mom, you ignored me all afternoon yesterday. Maybe one day, for that Wei Yue, you might really just let me out of the car."
"I’m a bit scared." After saying this, Ah Chen hid behind Teacher Yun, making Ran Zhengfeng’s face livid with anger. This child really gave him no face, too willful and unreasonable, not as sensible as Yuanyuan.
He sincerely wished Yuanyuan was his daughter, but unfortunately, due to the trouble caused by these two mother and daughter, even adoption was out of the question.
Teacher Yun’s full name is Yun Xin, the Commissioner’s language teacher, and a good friend of Zhuo Qiaoqing. Due to her profession, the Commissioner has always been accustomed to calling her Teacher Yun, rarely calling her Auntie. The elevator stopped, and Ah Chen followed Yun Xin to the basement level parking garage.
Ran Zhengfeng stayed in the elevator as his parking spot was in the second basement level. Watching Ah Chen and Yun Xin leave, he frowned, still thinking she was too inconsiderate.
Ah Chen couldn’t care less, with a father like Ran Zhengfeng, anyone associated with him would be unlucky.
"Haven’t had breakfast yet?"
Ah Chen replied: "No, I’ll eat outside the school later."
"I haven’t eaten either." Yun Xin smiled, "I always eat outside, let’s eat together later, I know a good breakfast place."
Yun Xin is currently single, not that she hasn’t dated before, she’s dated many but later realized she wasn’t suited for marriage. She’s lazy, doesn’t like doing housework, and has no interest in raising children, mostly staying home or traveling and exploring, evidently not someone for settling down. So there’s no need to waste others’ time marrying and having kids. Later she simply stopped considering it, finding it more relaxed.
Upon arriving at school, after parking the car, Yun Xin and Ah Chen went to have breakfast together before returning to school.
Meanwhile, Ma Zihou and his underlings were preparing to leave the country with him, thinking they could escape from Ah Chen.
Ma Zihou was unable to leave overnight; he planned to leave first, taking a few underlings along, not wanting to deal with this, but they’ve done too much together to ignore it. The underlings haven’t been abroad before, lacking passports, so they’ll have to wait.
Sitting on the plane, Ma Zihou felt relieved, not caring anymore, thinking to leave the country first, and come up with other explanations for his parents later.
He hadn’t considered telling his parents about Ran Chen, as Ran Chen said he had no evidence, and might be considered crazy. Once that label sticks, it’s hard to shake off.
He’ll just treat it as studying abroad, and after some years, as long as he doesn’t provoke Ran Chen again, maybe she will quickly forget him.
Except he really feels hurt.
The burning pain reminded him of last night’s encounter, the more he thought about it, the worse it got, to the point his face contorted, unable to endure, he first groaned, then couldn’t help but scream in pain, struggling and alarming those around him.
He unbuckled his seatbelt, uncontrollably rolling on the ground.
The flight attendants hurriedly took emergency rescue actions, but it didn’t help.
Considering the potential risk to life, they chose to land at the nearest airport, thus Ma Zihou hadn’t flown out of domestic airspace before being sent to the hospital.
After a series of tests, nothing was found, yet Ma Zihou had already fainted from pain.
Later he woke up and cried out again, the doctor gave him an injection, finally quieting down.
Ma Zihou’s parents received the call; his father, busy with company affairs, couldn’t come, but his mother rushed to ask the doctor what had happened to her son. No conclusive answer yet; Ma Zihou was transferred to a larger hospital, ending up back in his hometown, which was also where Ah Chen was.
Ah Chen was unaware of all this; she was attending school.
Upon learning, Ma Zihou’s underlings were shocked, visiting Ma Zihou without revealing anything of yesterday’s events, waiting to speak after Ma Zihou awoke.
Ma Zihou awakened to see his underlings surrounding his bedside, all with fear in their eyes towards Ah Chen.
"The further away, the more painful, if we don’t come back, I could literally die from this pain," Ma Zihou said in terror, trembling, will he really go to jail?
"Boss, what should we do?" The underlings were also panicked.

At noon, Ah Chen received a phone call; the caller claimed to be Ma Zihou’s biological mother.
Ah Chen decided to meet at a nearby café outside the school.
"Senior." As she was leaving school, a familiar voice sounded behind her, Ah Chen turned back; Li Feiwei was already in front of her.
His adorable face still had some bruises.
He held a pretty box in his hand, its contents unknown.
"Senior, can we have lunch together? I want to thank you for helping me yesterday."
"I prepared a gift for you."
