"Serin? What do you think? You saw him up close, right?" The girl asked lazily.

Serin, the girl who'd witnessed more than enough to know what to do if she wanted to live or die, shivered inwardly.

"W-what do you mean?" Serin asked, forcing herself to be calm.

"Well, I want to have him. Since you saw him up close, what do you think should be the best way to do this?" Her voice was tinged with glee.

Serin once again felt fear.

You want him...? Then go do it, no one's stopping you! Just leave me out of this.

After a moment's hesitation, she cleared her throat. "I...don't think you should try him

...L-Liora," she managed to force out.

Liora shook her head gently, wrapping her arms around Serin's.

"I know you're afraid of that, Lynnor, but you should just forget her. She's a teacher after all. There will be times when she'll have to be away. i can take my time and do what I want to," she said with a chilling smile.

But Serin remained unmoved.

It's not Lynnor, it's the boy himself I'm afraid of! She wanted to say, but couldn't

She knew of Liora's taste and acts. AS one of the top beauties in the academy, she'd been nicknamed "The destroyer of princes."

With her delicate features, it was difficult, almost impossible for people to reject a request from her. And she'd used that privilege to her advantage.

Identifying good-looking male students was her hobby, and when she did, she'd present herself in a way where these good-looking 'Princes' would be seduced by her looks.

She'd make them thirst for her, and when their pangs grew strong and unbearable, she'd present herself to them, giving them the hope that she could be swayed by them.

As a cute, harmless bunny, none of her targets would suspect a thing, fawning over her like animals in heat.

And when she was bored with their attention, or when she'd found herself a new target, she'd get rid of them in the most devastating way possible.

Liora loved attention; it was her source of life.

And once she set her eyes on a target, she wouldn't rest until she had them in her clutches.

Her previous target had been beaten to death by a group of students when she framed him for trying to rape her.

With Aramith as her new target, she was dying to have him crawling to her.

If only she knew this greed she had had led her to bite at what she never would have.

She'd just chosen the one person she could never afford to touch.

"He just came in, don't you think you should wait?" Serin asked.

"Wait? It's better to act now when he's fresh and naive."

Serin gulped. She wanted to change Liora's mind. At least if Liora were to wait, Aramith's true strength might be revealed, and she won't have to make the mistake of confronting him.

But Liora was thirsting for the fawning from her new target.

This little bunny wanted to be chased.

Liora raised her head. "I want Aramith as soon as possible. You go find out all you can about Aramith. Don't miss anything important," she commanded the boy sitting opposite them.

He nodded, then stood up.

"Wait," Serin called out. The boy paused, half-seated, half-standing.

He looked at Serin, then at Liora.

Serin ignored his confused stare and turned to her friend, who was slowly courting death.

"Are you sure about this? Do you really want him?"

Liora raised an eyebrow. "Meaning? I already made my choice. Unless..." her lips curled up in a smile.

The smile elevated her beauty, making those who saw it hold their breath, their hearts beating wildly.

"You want him instead?"

"Huh??!" Serin shouted, drawing attention from the nearest tables.

But when they saw Liora, they quickly looked away.

Liora took note of Serin's reaction and smiled some more.

"I never considered it. You stood very close to him that day, after all. I didn't know you fell for him that easily. And I was worried you would never fall for any guy. Hahaha!"

Serin's face paled instantly. Me???? Fall for him???? You think I'm cray like you? I appreciate my life, thank you very much.

"That's not it. Why would I want to cause trouble for myself?"

Liora waved. "Oh, don't be shy. IF you liked him that much, you could have just said so. Lots of girls already wanted him, but they were afraid. As my friend, I wouldn't stand in the way of your love. You should go for it."

Liora held Serin's hands tenderly as she encouraged. For some reason, she translated Serin's ashen face as her being shy.

Are you blind? Excuse me, but since when did pink cheeks and reddening of the face get swapped by pale face and eyes filled with fear? I never heard of such an update in the human body.

Serin shook her head so hard that it could have fallen off.

"Please, don't misunderstand."

"Mmm?" Liora raised an eyebrow, amused. She turned to the boy, who was unsure what to do. "Go, and get back to me quickly."

He nodded and left quietly, trying to make sense of what he'd just witnessed.

Liora let go of her hands and rested her face in her palms.

"Finish your food, then we can go somewhere private to talk."

Serin let out a sigh, knowing it's going to take a lot of effort to change Liora's mind and make her understand that she has no interest in that frightening devil called Aramith.

She stared at the food before her and pushed it aside.

From the moment they started talking about Aramith, she'd lost her appetite.

She couldn't force herself to enjoy the food anymore.

Liora glanced at the food that had been barely touched. "Really? You don't want to eat anything?"

"DOn't worry, I already ate something before coming, let's go so we can talk about things, she stood up.

Liora chuckled, thinking Serin must be excited to talk about Aramith with her and was too shy to admit it out in the open.

"How adorable," she looked at the 'maiden in love' with an 'I'll help you get your feelings across' look.

Serin grimaced inwardly. What did I do to deserve this?
