Chapter 370: Chapter 370 Capricious Woman

Mu Xinghan might be deceiving her with the second half of his sentence, but definitely not the first part.

Su Wanxin hadn’t told Fu Shihan that the other members of the Fu Family had already given up on her and were looking for someone else. She ultimately still didn’t dare to; she didn’t want him to turn against his family.

"What are you crying for if it’s good news?"

After listening carefully to her words, Fu Shihan quickly analyzed their credibility, as well as discarded any irrelevant information.

"If he has a way to save you, let him do it. We just need to pay. As for the rest, hasn’t it already been agreed upon before?"

Fu Shihan would never accept others making decisions for his life.

Whether Su Wanxin is beneficial or harmful to him is not for others to say.

"Once you’re better, you won’t have to sneak around to see Yangyang anymore." He kissed the corner of her mouth, revealing her secret.

They never mentioned Fu Yu’an when they were together, and she always seemed indifferent about her own child, as if she didn’t have too many feelings.

But Fu Shihan knew that she was always enduring in silence.

She would drive to Yangyang’s kindergarten from time to time, never showing herself, just watching from a hidden spot.

Even if it meant waiting an hour just to see him come out of the kindergarten gates and get into the car, which lasted only a few seconds, she was completely satisfied.

When Su Wanxin heard Fu Shihan bring up Yangyang, her tears fell even harder.

That was her child, a piece of herself—how could she not love him?

She would trade all the wonderful things in life for his safety and health.

"Seeing you cry like this, I feel like I might be okay again." Fu Shihan wiped her tears and said, "Should I ask again if you want to?"

"...I won’t ask anymore."

"You change your mind just like that?"

"Yes, I just can’t anymore." Su Wanxin replied, sobbing.

Fu Shihan was just teasing her, but he was still worried about her health.

Su Wanxin looked at him with tearful eyes as he smiled at her and covered his eyes with her hand.

"I’d like one of your companies." She thought for a while and changed the subject, "I’ll pay you."

"Which one?"

Su Wanxin stated the name, and upon hearing it, Fu Shihan pulled her hand away and couldn’t help but laugh: "Little thing, you sure have a big appetite."

"Are you going to give it to me or not?"

"Let’s see if you have what it takes to get it."

The company she wanted was that yet-to-be-listed tech company. Although small, it had good prospects. Less than two years old, focusing on software and hardware development, it already had a bit of a reputation domestically.

"If you beat me, I’ll give it to you for free."

"How do we compete?" Su Wanxin perked up. "Compete in what?"

"I’ll tell you at work tomorrow." Fu Shihan glanced at his wristwatch. "I’m going to have a meeting in the study, wait here for me."

There were some matters to deal with at the overseas branch; he had to have meetings every now and then. Fortunately, he didn’t have to go in person, and he was in a fairly good mood, not giving them the cold shoulder.

He got up and left the room, and Su Wanxin didn’t just lie there either. She took a bath, changed her clothes, and washed the garments he’d thrown on the clothing rack before wandering downstairs.

The dining table was set with their half-eaten dinner, already cold.

The door to the study was open, and she could vaguely hear him conversing in German.

Su Wanxin’s German wasn’t very good; she barely understood a small part of it. Unlike him, who was fluent in so many countries’ bird language, he even joked that it was just for the convenience of watching films, no need for subtitles.
