When she came back to her senses and looked for the person sitting opposite her, she found he was gone.
Gu Zhiqi: ?
She had been so focused on watching the fireworks, she didn’t realize she lost her boyfriend.
Instinctively, she stood up and began to look around.
Soon, she spotted him.
Su Yunling was walking slowly toward her, carrying two bowls. He placed one in front of her.
"I guessed you wouldn’t be able to eat much, so I only made you a bowl of longevity noodles." As he spoke, Su Yunling pushed the noodles to her. "Can you eat it?"
Gu Zhiqi’s eyes flickered slightly and she asked, "You made it yourself?"
Su Yunling nodded.
Seeing this, Gu Zhiqi immediately picked up her chopsticks and started eating.
Su Yunling watched her eat, his eyes filled with gentle amusement.
He stared at Gu Zhiqi for a few seconds, then sat down across from her and started eating his noodles too.
Looking at Su Yunling eating noodles across from her, Gu Zhiqi remembered something, a trace of annoyance passed through her eyes, and she asked, "Is this your first dinner?"
Then she continued to mumble softly, "I shouldn’t have let you walk so far earlier, you must be starving."
Hearing this, Su Yunling smiled and said, "You are afraid I’d starve myself?"
"I have food in the storage ring, I won’t go hungry."
Hearing this, Gu Zhiqi stared at Su Yunling for a few seconds, as if confirming the truth of his words.
A few seconds later, she bowed her head again to continue eating her noodles.

After finishing the noodles, the two walked hand in hand along the river for a while before Su Yunling took Gu Zhiqi back to the Gu Family Manor.
The car stopped not far from the Gu Family Manor. Gu Zhiqi didn’t get out right away but leaned against Su Yunling, asking reluctantly, "Do you still have to go on a mission?"
Su Yunling: "They’re already wrapping things up there, so I don’t need to go for now."
Gu Zhiqi: "When are you going back to the Capital?"
Hearing this, Su Yunling clearly understood Gu Zhiqi’s meaning, lowered his eyes gently, nuzzled her head with his chin, and said, "I won’t head back to the Capital until I receive another mission; I’ll stay in Haicheng with you for now."
Gu Zhiqi lifted her eyes to look at Su Yunling and asked, "Really?"
"Really." Su Yunling nodded, and then added, "I have a lunch meeting tomorrow morning, I’ll come find you in the afternoon."
Upon hearing this, Gu Zhiqi popped out of Su Yunling’s embrace, "See you tomorrow then."
She finished speaking, planted a kiss on Su Yunling’s chin, opened the car door, and got out.
She looked like a rogue just leaving after an act.
Su Yunling raised a hand, gently touched his chin, and watched Gu Zhiqi leave.
Only after Gu Zhiqi entered the Gu Family Manor did Su Yunling signal Yun Sen to drive away.
At the Gu Family Manor, as soon as Gu Zhiqi walked in, someone jumped out beside her.
"Gu Zhiqi." The person suddenly appearing called her name with a displeased and very stern tone.
Gu Zhiqi turned her head and saw Gu Xingruo with a stern face, his expression as dark as the bottom of a pot.
Gu Zhiqi raised her eyebrows, "Fourth Brother just got back too?"
Gu Xingruo: "..."
Back my foot, I haven’t even been out!
"That guy in the car just now... is he your boyfriend?" Gu Xingruo asked with a serious face, looking at Gu Zhiqi.
Gu Zhiqi nodded.
Gu Xingruo: ?!
He really is?! Where’s my knife?!
Gu Xingruo took a deep breath and continued to ask, "What did he take you out for?"
Gu Zhiqi: "To watch fireworks, eat longevity noodles."
Hearing this, Gu Xingruo seemed a bit skeptical, looking doubtful, "That’s all?"
Gu Zhiqi nodded earnestly.
