He thrust out a palm. Lightning coiled in its center, faintly forming the shape of another Thunder Rune, one that seemed to share a similar principle with the Yingyuan Thunder Monarch Rune.
Caught off guard and with his body still numb from the tribulation-like electric shock, Zhao Yuan found it impossible to use his Body Technique to evade the attack. He could only meet it head-on with a Technique of his own.
He spun around and met Xie Yuan’s palm with his own.

A loud explosion rang out. Zhao Yuan used the force of the collision to retreat, taking the chance to escape the range of his opponent’s Thunder Realm and continue his hit-and-run tactics.
The next moment, however, he realized something was wrong.

If dozens of Secret Techniques could no longer restrain one another, even the slightest disturbance would result in a terrifying backlash.
Seeing Zhao Yuan’s reaction, a cold smile touched the corner of Xie Yuan’s lips.
