Chapter 13: Thea’s Warning

Just as Kalon was about to leave his room and head up to the rooftop, he heard a knock at his door.

Not only was it strange, but it was also annoying.

No one ever knocked on his door. The one time someone did, it had to be at a time like this.

With a sigh, he peered through the spyglass in the door.

He expected it might be the mailman, even though it was well past his shift.

Maybe it was a noise complaint from the dorm room below. He had been making quite a lot of noise while training, after all.

Or it might be Richard, or one of the many other bullies in the first year. It wouldn’t be the first time that they came to his room to play a prank on him.

Instead however, Kalon saw someone he wasn’t expecting to see at all.

She wasn’t dressed in the academy uniform. Instead, she wore black pants and a white sleeveless turtleneck that perfectly outlined her likely C-cup breasts. It was slightly see through, faintly revealing her black bra underneath.

Her waist was slender, yet her abs were well-defined, visible even through the fabric of her shirt.

Her legs were plump, clearly accentuated by the way her pants hugged them.

Of course, her most noticeable features were her large blue eyes and blue hair, which was tied into a bun atop her head.

Thea Bluegale...

Kalon’s heart immediately started beating faster.

What business did she have here? How did she even know where his dorm room was?

Kalon started wondering all sorts of things, like whether she’d made some sort of mistake and ended up at the wrong room.

Maybe it was part of some bullying scheme set up by Richard, Brandon, or maybe even Lewis.

Either way, he knew he had to open the door.

As it swung open, Kalon found himself standing eye to eye with the stern-faced beauty.

He used to have to look up at her, since she was 5’5" and he had only been 5’0", but now things were different.

At first, Thea didn’t say anything. She looked Kalon up and down without giving away what she was thinking.

"You have gotten bigger."

They were the first words she’d ever said to him.

They sounded like the most beautiful chord ever played on a piano.

Kalon knew his hard work was paying off. He could see it in the mirror, and Josinia had pointed it out as well.

But to hear it from the mouth of Thea, someone who had seen where he’d started...

It felt incredibly satisfying.

"Maybe a little," Kalon said with a shrug. "Is everything alright?"

Thea continued looking him up and down. She seemed oddly fascinated by his new physique and face.

A moment later, she looked away.

"I came here to let you know that Daniel might be planning to start a fight with you the next time he sees you."

Hmm?

This wasn’t anything new. Daniel the pretty boy had beaten Kalon up plenty of times before.

The question was, why had Thea decided to tell him now?

"Alright. Thanks for letting me know."

Thea’s large eyes widened ever so slightly. It wasn’t the response she’d been expecting.

Is he so used to being beaten up that he doesn’t even care anymore?

Despite her thoughts, her expression barely changed.

Eventually, she turned to leave.

"The mock battles are coming up soon. That’s why I wanted to tell you. If they hurt you beforehand, you won’t be in good condition for them."

Then she continued down the hallway without waiting for a response.

Kalon let out a sigh and stood in the doorway for a few seconds, watching the way her full hips swayed beneath her black pants.

Thea warned me... This is the first time someone’s ever done that.

After waiting a few minutes so it wouldn’t seem like he was following her, Kalon closed his door and made his way up to the rooftop of the dormitory.

He didn’t even notice that, for some reason, he wasn’t worried about the threat Thea had warned him about.

In fact, it wasn’t even on his mind.

All he could think about was returning to Venduros to spend more time with Josinia while earning himself more rewards from the Space Seducer System.
