Chapter 1175: Chapter 1175: Staying at the Same Hotel

Leisurely walking towards the bathroom, Watt Bennet took a quick shower and changed into clean clothes, feeling too lazy to eat the dinner the waiter had delivered, and went straight to the Chanel Place banquet scene.

His trip to France was a secret journey, but with his status in the business world, attending any banquet was just a matter of speaking up.

Upon arrival, Watt reported his identity and was subsequently led into the ballroom.

There were quite a few guests on site today, including people from the fashion industry, entertainment circles, modeling circles, and the business world.

Watt came after seeing the news, and it took him some time on the way, so he was a bit late when he arrived.

His long legs casually walked through the corridors of the magnificent classical European architecture, passing beautifully dressed female stars taking photos.

Occasionally, when they saw him appear, female celebrities turned their heads and gave him admiring glances.

Watt acted like he saw nothing, his gaze still locked ahead.

After arriving on site, his gaze slowly swept across the ballroom.

The banquet was nearing its end, and there were not many people left at the tables.

Seeing him show up at this point, the host enthusiastically came over to greet him, "Good evening, Mr. Bennet. We didn’t know you were in France, so we didn’t send an invitation. If you have time tomorrow, Mr. Bennet, I’ll host another banquet for you?"

"No need, thank you." Watt merely exchanged a glance with the person and once again scanned the venue.

He scanned the whole ballroom but did not find Summer Sutton’s figure...

Watt squinted his eyes, and a chill gradually swept over them.

Lorraine Hughes hadn’t left at this time, and slowly walked towards him, kindly asking, "Mr. Bennet, are you looking for Miss Sutton?"

Watt didn’t answer.

Pointing in the direction of the villa door, Lorraine continued, "Miss Sutton left for the hotel with Mr. Ink half an hour ago."

She deliberately emphasized that it was to the hotel.

Actually, neither Summer Sutton nor Manuel Ink were from France, so staying at a hotel was normal, without needing her reminder.

If not returning to a hotel, where else could Summer Sutton go?

However, when spoken by an outsider, the word ’hotel’ never sounded quite pleasant.

Watt ignored Lorraine, striding out of the ballroom.

While walking, he asked a friend in France to help investigate, "Help me check which hotel she’s staying at."

...

Manuel Ink came to France solely for the film festival, and stayed at a hotel overnight with Summer Sutton on the night of his arrival. The next day, he took her to the event scene.

Summer Sutton accompanied him as an assistant. Upon arrival, Summer decided not to attend due to the abundance of media onsite and instead waited in the car.

Manuel only went in for about an hour, then came out directly to go to the airport with her.

He didn’t linger in Cannes at all; once everything was handled, he boarded a plane back to the country.

Watt Bennet traced their travel itinerary and chased them to the airport, just as Manuel Ink’s plane took off.

Frustrated, Watt kicked the wall beside him, having no other choice than to wait for airport control to arrange a private jet for takeoff.

...

Summer Sutton arrived back home the next morning.

Old Master of the Ink Family came to meet her at the airport.

Seeing her, the Old Master kept smiling broadly.

His demeanor made Summer Sutton’s heart skip a beat.
