The little black cat nodded with certainty.
"But I want to use it to attract Sea Monsters. How about you eat it after the event is over and I’m done attracting them?"
The little black cat shook its head, meowing urgently.
"Alright, alright, you can have it. You’re such a greedy little cat."
As she spoke, she brought the hair flower to the little black cat’s mouth.
She watched as the little black cat plunged its head into the peony. Faye Yardley clearly noticed the peony’s color start to fade.
When it finally became an almost transparent white peony, the little black cat lifted its head, swayed a couple of times as if drunk, and then collapsed into Faye Yardley’s arms, fast asleep.
"Blackwood, Blackwood, are you okay?"
"Don’t worry, Sister. I’ve scanned it, and it’s fine."
Meanwhile, on a raft on another part of the ocean, Bonnie Callahan collapsed on her way from the living room to the bedroom, falling unconscious.
Faye Yardley carefully cradled the little black cat in her palm, then placed it back on the Pet Sofa, even meticulously covering it with a Flower Handkerchief as a blanket.
When she picked up the hair flower again, she received a system prompt: "This is a successfully exorcised hair flower. It can be worn without worry."

Faye Yardley looked at the hair flower in her hand. Without the pink hue, the nearly transparent peony was still very eye-catching, but it no longer had that ’I must possess this’ feeling to it.

Not wanting to spoil its fun, Faye Yardley vaulted onto the horse. Bella then carried her around the raft several times.
So it really liked eating the Magic Plant’s leaves, just as much as it liked the Light Energy Fragments.
Back on the raft, Faye Yardley went ahead and opened the Wooden Treasure Chest she had picked up while salvaging junk during the day.
As expected, aside from food and basic materials, it contained event-related salvaging tools. She even got a small recycler.
There wasn’t anything else unexpected. Feeling it was still early, Faye Yardley entered the training room again.
