Chapter 249: Caught in the act cheating
Luo Muchen stormed into the Eastside triads’ nightclub, his men following closely behind. The atmosphere crackled with tension as weapons were drawn, and chaos ensued as his loyal henchmen engaged in a fierce scuffle with the club’s security.
With each step, Luo Muchen’s heavy strides resonated with an air of tyranny, his eyes scanning the floor for a familiar face. He made his way towards the elevator, determined to find Qie Xieling. His body was almost trembling in rage as he stood in the elevator watching the number on the LED screen change.
He suspected that Qie Xieling had fallen into old habits and was entangled with Lee Ya again. If it was true then Qie Xieling would have used up his last lifeline. This time he won’t let him go.
The chaos was happening on the floors below so Qie Xieling was unaware of the situation. The vibrant nightclub pulsated with energy as the infectious beat of the music filled the air drowning the screams in the floors beneath them.
He was within a sea of people dancing on the VIP dance floor. It was packed with bodies moving in sync, their movements a seamless blend of sensuality and raw passion.
As Luo Muchen reached the VIP dance floor, his heart sank as he looked down and witnessed a sight that ignited a fire within him. Amidst the dimly lit ambience, a couple caught his eye.
A man and a woman were locked in an intense embrace. Their bodies were moving with a fluidity that seemed almost supernatural, their dance a perfect fusion of grace and desire.
Sweaty bodies brushed against each other, their clothing clinging to their skin as they twirled, dipped, and spun. With each move, the intensity between them grew, their chemistry palpable.
Seeing Qie Xieling and Lee Ya were locked in a seductive dance, bodies intertwined, their movements exuding a raw sensuality it fueled Luo Muchen’s anger. He clenched the railing with a white-knuckled grip, his emotions simmering beneath his composed facade.
Unable to bear the sight any longer his rage pushed him to take a daring leap. He vaulted off the railing, landing with a commanding presence on the dance floor.
His cleanliness issues prevented him from navigating through the crowded space, and so, with a swift motion, he drew his handgun, his finger curling around the trigger.
BANG BANG BANG!!!
Three deafening shots pierced the air, their explosive sound echoing through the club. Panic erupted as screams filled the room, and a wave of fear washed over the patrons, scattering them in all directions. Amidst the chaos, Qie Xieling and Lee Ya remained rooted to the spot.
"You son of a bitch," said Lee Ya through gritted teeth while Qie Xieling had no idea where to put his hands.
’The fuck! When did he get here?’ he said to Jolie and in response, Jolie let out a soft chuckle.
’A while ago. I didn’t want to disturb your little rendezvous,’ said Jolie finding this very amusing. Who would have thought Qie Xieling’s romantic drama series would be more interesting than Wen Qinxi’s?
’You are the one who told me to stick close to her so you can do your thing,’ said Qie Xieling almost having a mental breakdown.
’Not that close. You just ran with it. It seems like Luo Muchen is going to eat you alive that is after he ties you to the bed,’ said Jolie as Luo Muchen strode over.
He grabbed Qie Xieling’s arm and pulled him closer while whispering, "I will deal with you later," through gritted teeth.
Qie Xieling who was a little tipsy grinned his lips almost touching Luo Muchen’s. Luo Muchen clenched his fist his body trembling. He looked into Qie Xieling’s eyes with a fiery stare before averting his gaze.
In the background there were men in grey suits rushing in and guns were drawn between the two sides the tension in the air high. Lee Ya chuckled as she ran her fingers through her hair. Her laugh was sinister and unnerving but Luo Muchen only glared at her. It took every fibre of his being not to put a bullet in her head.
"I didn’t think you two are still so close that you brought the entire cavalry just to get him back. I thought you had replaced him with some curly-haired punk... How about you give me Xieling so he can race for m-," she said her voice mocking.
Before she could finish speaking, Luo Muchen drew his gun and aimed it at her temple the murder intent in his eyes unconcealable.
Lee Ya didn’t flinch. In fact, she was more than confident that he won’t do it. That’s because if he does then her men would put holes in his body.
Qie Xieling took his hand out of his pocket and pressed it on Luo Muchen’s arm before squeezing it gently. Luo Muchen’s jaw clenched tightly having misunderstood his meaning.
"You are protecting her now?" he said his bloodthirsty eyes staring at him at the corner of his eye.
Qie Xieling didn’t respond. He just stared into Luo Muchen’s eyes without backing down. Luo Muchen was dissatisfied but he still withdrew the pistol.
"Let’s go. We got what we came here for," commanded Luo Muchen his voice imperious. Still grabbing Qie Xieling’s arm tight, like he was afraid he would run, he dragged him away.
His men surrounded the pair of them fearing a sneak attack from the enemy. While shielding them Lee Ya called out to Qie Xieling.
"Lin Lin, if you ever want to jump ship you know where to find me," she said and Luo Muchen’s steps suddenly paused.
Hearing that intimate address and the fact that she was still trying to poach him, he finally lost his mind. Like an angry bull he saw red and what happened next came naturally.
He fired at the two-point-seven million chandelier hanging on the ceiling and it came crashing down shards of glass flying everywhere.
Lee Ya’s men hurriedly shielded her but there were still some casualties. She watched the group of men leave and showed a sinister smile akin to the Jokers
