Chapter 117: Her Nipples Are So Hard! I Can See Them

The real maneuvering would start tomorrow.

As the hall began to clear, Lucian caught Lilith’s attention with a subtle gesture.

She excused herself from her duties and moved toward him, acutely aware that every movement was likely being observed.

"Go to my room," Lucian said quietly, his voice low enough that only she could hear. "Tidy it up. I want everything organized perfectly."

It was a simple instruction. A task. Nothing that should have sent electricity through her body.

But it did.

"Yes, Alpha," she said.

Lucian nodded, his gold eyes meeting hers for just a moment before he looked away.

Lilith turned and left the hall.

Behind her, Nicholas leaned toward Lucian and said something too quiet for her to hear.

As she made her way through the corridors toward the Blackwood quarters, Lilith’s mind was spinning.

Why had they requested her specifically all evening?

Why did Lucian nearly lose control when another omega got close to him?

Why did being near them make her body respond in ways that contradicted everything her mind was telling her to feel?

She didn’t have answers.

All she knew was that something was happening, Something had changed in the dynamic between her and the three alphas.

And as she climbed the stairs toward Lucian’s room, she couldn’t shake the feeling that seven days wouldn’t be nearly enough time for her to understand what was happening.

The Summit had officially begun.

And Lilith was at the center of whatever game was about to unfold.

***

*The Next Morning*

The breakfast tray was heavier than usual.

Lilith balanced it carefully as she made her way through the corridors toward the Blackwood quarters. The morning was still early, most of the compound was just beginning to wake up. The Summit’s second day was about to officially begin.

Her body was already responding to the anticipation of seeing them again.

She’d barely slept the night before. Every time she’d closed her eyes, she’d remembered the opening ceremony. The way they’d requested her specifically. The way Lucian’s eyes had gone gold when another omega got too close. The intensity radiating from all three of them despite their calm exteriors.

And then Lucian’s instruction to tidy his room.

She’d done it efficiently, trying not to notice the lingering scent of him in the space. Trying not to think about him naked in the shower, water running over his muscular body. Trying not to imagine things she had absolutely no business imagining.

She’d failed at all three.

By the time she’d finished and left his room, her body was responding in ways she didn’t understand and couldn’t control.

Now, approaching their quarters in the early morning light, her breathing was already elevated.

She knocked once and entered without waiting for permission, protocol for breakfast service.

And then she stopped dead.

The brothers were scattered throughout the main room of their quarters in various states of undress that made her entire body flush with heat.

Nicholas stood near the window in dress pants and an open white shirt. The fabric hung loosely on his frame, unbuttoned enough that his defined chest was completely visible. His dark hair was damp, suggesting he’d just come from the shower. He looked up at her entrance with those silver eyes that seemed to see straight through her.

Sebastian was sprawled across one of the sofas in loose grey loungewear, his chest completely exposed. His muscular torso was on full display, his dark skin contrasting beautifully with the pale fabric. He looked like he’d just woken up, but there was nothing sleepy about the intensity of his gaze as it tracked her.

And Lucian...

Lucian was shirtless.

Completely shirtless, wearing only black pants that hung low on his hips. His torso was a masterpiece of defined muscle and raw power. His gold eyes were already watching her with an intensity that made her breath catch.

Lilith’s nipples hardened immediately.

She could feel them pressing against the thin fabric of her omega uniform, responding involuntarily to the sight of him. To all of them.

Heat flooded between her legs. Wetness pooled, soaking through her underwear, making her acutely aware of her own body’s betrayal.

She wanted to die of mortification.

"Good morning, Lilith," Nicholas said, his voice smooth and controlled as if he wasn’t half-naked. As if she wasn’t standing in his quarters experiencing a full-body physical response to their presence.

"Good morning, Alpha," she managed, her voice barely steady.

"Fuck, can you smell her?" Lucian’s voice came through the mindlink, sharp with need and barely contained hunger.

"She’s completely aroused. Look at her," Sebastian responded, his mental tone dark with satisfaction. "Her nipples are so hard. I can see them through the fabric."

"Control yourselves. She doesn’t know we can scent her. We maintain composure," Nicholas commanded through the bond, his alpha authority absolute even in the private mental space.

But Nicholas’s eyes flickered silver for just a moment, Kael showing through as he caught her scent. The smell of her arousal was filling the room like a physical presence, intoxicating and maddening and completely unmistakable to their wolves.

Lilith moved toward the small dining table, trying to focus on setting out the breakfast plates. Her hands shook slightly. She knew they had to be noticing. She knew she was being transparent in her response.

But she couldn’t help it.

Being this close to them, seeing them like this, feeling the weight of their attention on her...it was overwhelming.

"She’s trying so hard not to look at us. It’s adorable," Sebastian observed through the mindlink, amusement mixed with raw hunger.

"Her scent is intoxicating. How are you both maintaining control?" Nicholas asked, his mental voice strained slightly, the only indication of the effort his composure was costing him.

"Barely. If she stays much longer, one of us is going to break," Lucian admitted, his golden eyes tracking her every movement as she set down plates.

Lilith set the scrambled eggs in front of Sebastian, trying not to think about how close she was to his bare chest. Trying not to notice the way his muscles defined themselves with each breath. Trying not to imagine what it would feel like to touch him.

She was failing miserably.
