Chapter 651: Chapter 651: You’ve Successfully Angered Me
"Ah! Don’t kill me! I’m begging you, give me a way out."
The young man wailed, his eyes full of regret, wishing he hadn’t taken this job for the money.
"I’m pretty fair, I’ll treat you the same way I treated him."
Yang Cheng smirked coldly, then kicked him over to the ground, and stomped hard on his groin.
Screams of agony filled the room, and moments later, it was silent again.
"Let’s go, we need to head back immediately, or it will be too late."
Yang Cheng pulled Kong Lingwen towards the door, and just as they reached it, they heard hurried footsteps.
He shielded her behind him, and as the footsteps stopped at the door, he kicked it fiercely, sending the heavy wooden door flying into the group outside.
"Damn! Everyone, get him! Fifty grand reward for catching this kid!"
Someone shouted angrily, and then dozens of people swarmed in, eyes widening at the sight of two men almost out of breath on the floor.
"Fuck! He’s a tough guy! Even the Old Second got trashed."
"Kid, you dare mess with Brother Dao’s place, who are you rolling with?"
The man missing an ear spoke first, eyeing Yang Cheng up and down.
"I’m not with anyone. My girlfriend was staying at the hotel and almost got harassed by these two bastards, so I took care of them. Seems like you all want a taste of that too?"
Yang Cheng chuckled lightly, looking at them with utter contempt.
These people were just small-time thugs, no combat skills, and Yang Cheng could punch them to death with a single blow.
"Damn! You’re too fucking arrogant, do you really think we brothers are vegetarians?"
One Ear cursed, then his eyes landed on Kong Lingwen who was hiding behind Yang Cheng, lighting up instantly.
"No wonder those two tried to get at your girlfriend, she’s fucking gorgeous! Once we knock you down, we’ll take turns with this prime beauty!"
He laughed lewdly, and the guys behind him joined in with leering chuckles.
Their lustful eyes bored into Kong Lingwen, making her uncomfortable as if she had been stripped naked.
Yang Cheng clenched his fists tightly, gritting his teeth as he cursed, "Scum!"
These men didn’t take Yang Cheng seriously at all, one even suggested, "Boss, I bet this kid’s smooth skin and good looks would fetch a good price abroad, what do you think about selling him too?"
"You’re right! Not many men look like that, he might sell for more than the girl."
One Ear got excited, giving Yang Cheng a disgusting once-over, eyes finally stopping at his groin.
The fury within Yang Cheng reached its peak; he never imagined that one day he’d be ogled by men in such a revolting way.
"Damn! You guys have pissed me off now."
He cursed, then turned to Kong Lingwen and said, "Close your eyes and don’t look, or it’ll be too bloody and I worry you’ll have nightmares."
"Okay."
Kong Lingwen nodded, obediently closing her eyes.
Just then, the arrogance in a man’s shout came to his ears, "What are you whining about! Soon, we’ll let you see us taking your woman for ourselves!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Yang Cheng rushed over, punching One Ear right in the nose, caving in his entire face, blood gushing out uncontrollably.
Yang Cheng moved so fast, the others didn’t even react before their boss was down for the count.
When they finally realized, it was already too late, and the room was filled with a chorus of screams.
Moments later, everyone lay on the floor in disarray, clutching their eyes in pain, blood seeping between their fingers.
Although they deserved death, Yang Cheng refused to grant them the mercy of killing them but rather crippled their eyes, dooming them to spend the rest of their lives in pain.
Yang Cheng wiped the blood from his hands, then went to Kong Lingwen, scooped her up, and strode out of the room.
Though Kong Lingwen hadn’t seen anything, the metallic scent of blood filled her nose, making her nauseous, eager to escape this hellhole.
Once outside, she slowly opened her eyes, wrapping her arms around his neck.
When they reached the hotel lobby, the eyes of the few staff members behind the counter nearly popped out.
Dozens of men had gone up, yet they came down unscathed, which was simply impossible.
If he wasn’t in a rush to go back, Yang Cheng would’ve torn this den apart, but tonight was the night of Enlightenment, and he couldn’t be late.
He placed Kong Lingwen in the car, floored the gas, and roared away.
He dared not relax on the road, only stopping briefly at a gas station, then continued full speed ahead.
By the time they arrived at Hidden Cloud Village, the sky was just getting dark, and the bride’s parents were like ants on a hot pan with anxiety.
Seeing the car approach slowly, they hurried over, dragging Yang Cheng into the house and pushed him into the bride’s room.
On the bed sat a woman in a light pink dress, who slowly lifted her head, eyes gleaming, cheeks flushed, looking somewhat familiar.
"Aunt Wen?"
Yang Cheng’s eyes widened in shock, not expecting to see Wen Ying in the bride’s room, wondering if it was a mistake or something else.
"Little Divine Doctor, don’t call me Auntie, am I that old?"
The woman’s voice was soft and melting.
Yang Cheng took a closer look, only then realizing the woman in front of him only resembled Wen Ying, but with subtle differences in demeanor and a slightly younger age.
"You’re not Aunt Wen Ying?"
He asked, somewhat confused.
"Of course not, Wen Ying is my sister, I’m called Wen Zhen. No wonder you called me Auntie, you must’ve mistaken me for her."
She covered her mouth and laughed, looking quite adorable.
Although at first glance they looked almost identical, Wen Ying had a gentle air, whereas Wen Zhen seemed more playful and charming.
"But Aunt Wen has been married for years, why are you just getting married now?"
Yang Cheng asked curiously, sitting beside her on the bed to close the distance.
Though Enlightenment meant being intimate, Yang Cheng didn’t want to treat it as just a task; they had to talk and get to know each other first.
Initially, Wen Zhen was a bit nervous, but she quickly relaxed, answering, "I’m my parents’ late-in-life child and since there was no Enlightenment Master in the village, I never got married. I’m already twenty-five this year!"
"You’re twenty-five? You look about eighteen."
Yang Cheng wasn’t exaggerating; the girl in front of him seemed like a teenager in both looks and mannerisms.
