"This isn’t going to work." Lu Zhen said as he watched the alien withdraw its claw from the shoulder of the person it had attacked earlier.

Because of the barrage of attacks, it had no choice but to jump back to avoid Leng Pan’s water blade that was aimed at its neck.

It kept going leaving a sonic boom behind while scorching everything in it’s path. Even though the fire ball was small and resembled a baseball, it still managed to burn off the painting on both sides of the walls on the corridor they were in.

Every water molecule in the air near its path was evaporated without exception.

One could feel the heat that filled the corridor as the fire ball passed by.

The air became so dry that breathing it felt like breathing in sand.

At the end of the corridor, the fire ball blasted a hole the size of a drum on the wall before dissipating.
