Chapter 1926: Chapter 1775: Blood Clan

Mo Laosi shouted, "Yu Yao, you finally came. Look at me, all this happened because of you, look how badly I got beaten. If you’d come half an hour earlier, I could’ve at least skipped one round of beating."

Fourth Aunt wailed, "You damned jinx, why are you only coming now, you made us get beaten up again."

Mo Yuyao frowned slightly, ignored her two ungrateful relatives, and said to Duanmu Ci, "Duanmu Ci, what do you want?"

Duanmu Ci snorted coldly and said, "What do I want? Heh, what do you think I want?"

Zhou Qi licked his lips, impatiently saying, "Duanmu Ci, stop wasting words with her, tie her up. She’s mine tonight."

"Yes, Young Master Zhou."

Duanmu Ci responded, then ordered Da Dong and Ah Kun, "Do it. Take down Song Yun and tie up Mo Yuyao."

Da Dong and Ah Kun each held a baseball bat and a coil of rope as they walked toward Song Yun and Mo Yuyao.

The baseball bat was to deal with Song Yun, the rope was to tie up Mo Yuyao.

Da Dong sped up his steps, suddenly rushed at Song Yun, raised the baseball bat and roared, "Kid, you’re dead!"

The bat came crashing down, but halfway through the swing, it was grabbed out of the air by Song Yun.

"Ah!"

Da Dong cried out in shock and yanked hard on the bat, only to find it clamped tight in Song Yun’s hand, not budging at all.

Before he could react, the bat suddenly left his hand—it had been snatched away by Song Yun.

Bang.

Song Yun didn’t hesitate; he smashed the bat down on Da Dong’s head, then followed up with a kick that sent him flying.

Da Dong crashed to the ground; it was pitch-dark, no one could see clearly what state he was in.

But from the slick reflective patch spreading over his head, it was obvious his skull had been busted open.

Seeing this, Ah Kun was scared stiff and immediately turned to run.

Song Yun flung the bat out of his hand; with a bang it slammed into Ah Kun’s back, and a crisp crack of breaking bone sounded. Ah Kun pitched forward and hit the ground, not moving at all.

Seeing that, Duanmu Ci patted his chest, terrified in hindsight, thinking that luckily he had Zhou Qi helping out, otherwise he might not have been able to handle Song Yun today.

From Duanmu Ci’s point of view, Zhou Qi dealing with Song Yun would be a piece of cake.

Because he’d seen Zhou Qi in action before—that inhuman combat power simply couldn’t be judged by common sense.

"Didn’t expect you were actually a trained fighter."

Zhou Qi glanced at the fallen Da Dong and Ah Kun, let out a cold laugh, a teasing look on his face as he walked toward Song Yun.

The night was like ink, the moon dark and wind high, and Zhou Qi still hadn’t clearly seen Song Yun’s face.

Seeing Zhou Qi about to make a move, Duanmu Ci raised his bandaged hands and shouted at Song Yun, "Song Yun, you made me lose both my hands, you’re dead today. But don’t worry, after you’re dead, Young Master Zhou will definitely take good care of Mo Yuyao and make sure she’s screaming with pleasure every night."

As Zhou Qi walked toward Song Yun, he said, "Kid, you actually have pretty decent skills. I could totally consider taking you in as one of my boys, let you be my underling. But I especially hate you, because you have the same name as someone I loathe. I’ll kill you today. If you want to blame someone, blame your dad for giving you such a disgusting name."

Song Yun, as an SS-level, had vision far beyond ordinary people and had already recognized Zhou Qi.

Seeing Zhou Qi walk over now, he sneered, "Kill me? You think you’ve got what it takes?"

"You’ll know whether I’ve got it or not once you try."

Zhou Qi didn’t recognize Song Yun’s voice, snorted coldly, then moved his feet and charged at Song Yun.

His speed wasn’t slow, and the distance between him and Song Yun closed in an instant.

Song Yun stood in place without moving a muscle, smiling as he watched the figure in front of him.

Seeing Zhou Qi rush up, Duanmu Ci waved his arms excitedly and laughed, "Hahaha, Young Master Zhou, kill this brat, he’s already scared stupid by you!"

Mo Laosi also shouted, "Yeah, Young Master Zhou, just kill Song Yun, don’t kill me!"

When the distance was close enough, Zhou Qi raised his right fist, planning to blow Song Yun’s head apart with one punch.

But once he got close, he finally saw Song Yun’s face clearly.

What? Song Yun!

Zhou Qi’s heart gave a violent jolt, his steps stopped, and his eyes were full of horror and fear.

He hadn’t expected his initial worry to actually come true.

Was there really such a coincidence in this world—the Song Yun in front of him was actually the same Song Yun who had shined brilliantly at the tournament.

The one who’d single-handedly slaughtered nine SS-level experts—someone he, Zhou Qi, could not compare to at all.

In an instant, Zhou Qi was completely dumbfounded.

Song Yun’s lips curled into a mocking smile as he said to Zhou Qi, "Weren’t you going to kill me? Why’d you stop?"

"Yeah, Young Master Zhou, kill him!"

Duanmu Ci still hadn’t figured out what was going on and kept shouting loudly.

Fuck your mother, you’ve screwed me over.

Of all people, you actually dared to mess with Song Yun.

Hearing Duanmu Ci’s words, Zhou Qi’s heart surged with uncontrollable rage. He spun around, rushed in front of Duanmu Ci, and slapped him.

Smack.

A loud, crisp slap—Duanmu Ci was spun a full circle on the spot and then crashed to the ground.

As he fell, he grabbed at the table and accidentally turned on the charging desk lamp sitting on it, and the rooftop was suddenly bathed in a faint glow.

Everyone looked toward Duanmu Ci, only to see his cheek torn open and blood gushing wildly. Zhou Qi had not held back in the slightest with that slap.

Instantly, everyone except Song Yun was stunned.

They couldn’t figure it out. Why did Zhou Qi, who had been charging at Song Yun, suddenly change direction and slap Duanmu Ci? Had he gone mad?

Duanmu Ci’s whole face was numbed by the pain. He looked at Zhou Qi, aggrieved, and said, "Y-Young Master Zhou, why did you hit me?"
