Long Wu looked as if he had seen a ghost, his expression one of utter shock as he said,

"Celestial King, this level of spending is simply terrifying! I’d guess that not even the Chen Family, the wealthiest in Ming City, could afford it!"

Qin Tuo replied irritably.

"Do you think I intend to rely on the Chen Family? I, Qin Tuo, am no pretty boy who lives off a woman’s money."

Long Wu quickly bowed his head, a look of apology on his face.

"Celestial King, I misspoke. That’s not what I meant..."

Qin Tuo shook his head, not taking it to heart.

"Long Wu, now you see how much money I need. I must find a way to earn a fortune, and quickly. Selling pills is the best method."

At this, Long Wu finally understood Qin Tuo’s plan.

It was to trade low-level pills for vast sums of money, which he would then use to purchase precious medicinal ingredients to refine top-tier pills for himself.

Long Wu had never heard of anything like this before, and he was inwardly shaken.

"Long Wu, I’m writing a list of ingredients now. You must do everything you can to get them for me."

Qin Tuo instructed.

Long Wu nodded without hesitation.

"Rest assured, Celestial King. I will definitely acquire every last one of them for you!"

Qin Tuo smiled and said with deep meaning,

"Long Wu, don’t be so quick to agree. I don’t just need a small amount of these ingredients."

Long Wu carefully stored the list. He would immediately notify his men to get moving and purchase the massive quantity of ingredients for Qin Tuo.

The two of them stood up and left the private room.

"Just leave, Xu Chao. It would be bad if my boyfriend saw you and got the wrong idea!"

Rage instantly flared in Xu Chao’s heart. He couldn’t believe that after he had humbled himself this much, Chen Man Ni still wouldn’t give him any face.

Xu Chao snorted coldly!

"Chen Man Ni, know what’s good for you. Otherwise, all it would take is one word from my father to deal your Chen Family a crippling blow!"
