His father, Qin Hongguo, sounded somber.

"Qin Tuo, something’s happened..."

Those words made Qin Tuo’s heart drop, and his thoughts immediately flew to Han Zilin.

Qin Tuo quickly pressed,

"Dad, what exactly happened?"

Qin Hongguo said in a heavy voice,

"Aunt Han and Zilin have moved away. They left a letter for you before they went. Come home and read it for yourself!"

"What? How could this happen?"

Qin Tuo’s face fell. It was all so sudden, he was completely unprepared.

It was only then that Qin Tuo realized Han Zilin had been hiding something from him, that something had been weighing on her mind.

Otherwise, she would never have done something so drastic.

Qin Tuo was certain that moving away had been Han Zilin’s idea.

After a moment’s thought, he called Chen Man Ni.

"Congratulations, Qin Tuo! I heard you got everyone at the company eating out of your hand. I didn’t realize you’d take to being a chairman so well!"

Qin Tuo, however, was in no mood for jokes. He said seriously,

"Manni, something urgent has come up, and I have to go home right now. If anything happens at the office, could you please come back and keep an eye on things?"

Chen Man Ni was instantly puzzled and couldn’t help but ask,

"Qin Tuo, what’s going on?"

However, Qin Tuo slowly shook his head.

After hanging up, Qin Tuo left the office immediately.

He drove, and soon, he was back at his apartment complex.

"Dad, Mom, where’s the letter?"

Qin Hongguo and Luo Xianglan were both sitting on the sofa, looking downcast.

Luo Xianglan pointed to a corner of the coffee table and sighed.

"The letter’s over there, son. Read it yourself."

Qin Tuo snatched up the letter and began to read.

"Brother Tu, by the time you read this, I will no longer be in Ming City... My mother and I have moved to another city to live with a distant relative."

At the end of the letter, Han Zilin offered her blessing.

"Brother Tu, I wish you and Miss Chen all the best. I hope you two will be very happy together. Thank you for saving me from going down the wrong path. I hope we can meet again someday!"

After reading the whole letter, Qin Tuo fell silent.

He wasn’t an idiot; of course he could sense Han Zilin’s feelings for him.
