Chapter 133: Chapter 133: Car Crash

The next day, a Saturday, Wang Lei and Zhou Kexin drove to the entrance of Half Moon Bay.

The moment they saw the luxurious and imposing villa community, they couldn’t hide the excitement in their eyes.

At that moment, one luxury car after another streamed in and out...

Watching these wealthy people from the highest echelon of society, a glint of ambition sparked in Wang Lei’s eyes.

If he could buy a house here, he could become neighbors with these truly wealthy people and build more powerful connections.

"Wang Lei, once our commission comes in, we can definitely make a down payment here. Then we’ll be homeowners in Half Moon Bay!"

Zhou Kexin said excitedly.

Wang Lei was also excited. He straightened his suit and said arrogantly:

"You bet! With your man’s abilities, we’ll definitely live a life above everyone else in the future!"

Full of aspirations for a better life, the two walked straight toward the main gate.

However, a security guard suddenly stopped them.

"Excuse me, you two can’t go in!"

Wang Lei immediately frowned.

"What do you mean? Why can’t we go in?"

Zhou Kexin was also visibly displeased.

The security guard’s expression turned grim as he said:

"You two are not residents here, so you can’t come in to look around. If you want to view the properties, you’ll have to go to the sales office."

Wang Lei and Zhou Kexin laughed in exasperation and began to argue.

"We’re here to buy a house, so why can’t we go in and take a look? You’re just a lowly security guard, and you think you can stop us?"

After Wang Lei spoke, Zhou Kexin quickly chimed in:

"Exactly! Nowadays, the homebuyer is the customer, your God! Is this any way to treat your God?"

But the guard wasn’t about to argue with them. With a cold expression, he said:

"It’s useless no matter what you say. These are the rules. I must ask you to please go to the sales office."

Wang Lei flew into a rage, pointing at the guard’s nose.

"What’s your name? I’m going to file a complaint and have you fired!"

But the guard was no pushover. He sneered in anger:

"Go ahead and file your complaint. Even so, I’m not letting you in today!"

The two were furious, but they didn’t have the courage to try and force their way into such a high-end community.

So, they could only shoot the guard a vicious glare before leaving resentfully.

Before leaving, Wang Lei shouted viciously:

"Just you wait! Once we buy a house here, we’ll make sure to get all you watchdogs fired!"

The guard was furious and spat on the ground behind them.

"Ptui! What garbage!"

Not long after the pair left, Qin Tuo arrived in his domestically-made car.

The guard frowned. ’What is it with today? Why am I running into all sorts of characters?’

’I just shooed away someone who doesn’t own property here, and now another one shows up in a domestic car, thinking he can just waltz into Half Moon Bay.’

’What does he think this place is?’

The guard immediately moved to block him.

"Excuse me, you can’t enter without authorization. Stop the car immediately!"

Evidently, the guard’s attitude was already less than friendly.

Qin Tuo slowly rolled down his window.

When he saw Qin Tuo’s face, the guard was startled and quickly adopted a respectful expression.

"Oh! Mr. Qin, it’s you! I am so sorry about that!"

It turned out Qin Tuo was already a familiar face here; was there anyone among the community’s security guards and property management staff who didn’t recognize him?

Qin Tuo smiled, nodded, and said:

"No problem. I’m heading in, please open the gate."

The guard hurriedly nodded, not daring to delay for even a second.

The gate opened, and Qin Tuo was just about to drive forward.

Suddenly, a Maserati came speeding toward them from a distance, showing no signs of slowing down.

CRASH!

The Maserati smashed right into Qin Tuo’s side mirror, knocking it off.

The guard jumped in fright and took a closer look.

When they saw the Maserati’s license plate, their hearts all skipped a beat.

They clearly recognized the car and knew its owner was not someone to be trifled with.

"How on earth do they drive?"

Qin Tuo frowned.

However, before he could even confront her, the Maserati’s door opened. A woman in heavy, gaudy makeup and sunglasses got out, her attitude utterly brazen.

"Are you blind, or do you just not know how to drive? You scratched my car! Can you even afford to pay for the damages?"

Qin Tuo laughed in disbelief.

He got out of his car as well and began to reason with the woman:

"Ma’am, I suggest you take a closer look. You’re the one who hit my car. I was parked right here, completely stationary. Shouldn’t you be the one paying for the damages?"

But when the woman heard this, she became even more unreasonable.

"Hmph! You little punk, you’re just driving a piece of junk, domestically-made car! What’s there to be so cocky about? Even if you sold your entire family, you couldn’t afford to pay for a single scratch on my car!"

Seeing the argument escalate, the nearby security guards were furious but dared not intervene.

They obviously knew that this woman had a powerful background, so they didn’t dare step in to mediate.

Qin Tuo said coldly:

"You’d better watch your mouth. I haven’t even come after you yet, and you’re already throwing a fit here."

Seeing that Qin Tuo dared to talk back, the woman immediately began to curse loudly.

"You broke-ass pauper! How dare you talk back to me? If you don’t pay up today, I’m not going anywhere!"

As she spoke, she rushed in front of Qin Tuo, forcefully grabbing his arm to prevent him from leaving.

She then started shouting to the people around them.

"Everyone, come and look! This poor slob hit my car and is trying to run off without paying! You all be the judge, is that right?"

Seeing the woman in sunglasses throwing a shameless tantrum, a fire of rage ignited in Qin Tuo’s heart.

Without another word, he delivered a swift, backhanded slap!

SLAP!

The blow sent the woman’s sunglasses flying right off her face.

The surrounding guards were all stunned. They never expected Qin Tuo to actually resort to violence.

Moreover, they knew this woman came from a powerful background, and they all began to worry for Qin Tuo.

The woman was stunned by the slap!

When she snapped out of it, her face, caked in white foundation, turned bright red.

"You bastard, you dare to hit me?! You’re dead! Your whole family is dead!"

Furious, the woman bent down to pick up her designer sunglasses while simultaneously pulling out her phone to call for backup.

"You just wait, punk! Just wait ’til I get my people here to take care of you!"

But Qin Tuo just gave a cold smile.

"Fine. I’ll be waiting right here. Let’s see what kind of scene you can make."

Just then, Wang Lei and Zhou Kexin walked over, led by a saleswoman from the sales office.

They saw the confrontation from a distance.

As they got closer, they realized it was Qin Tuo arguing with a woman.

Zhou Kexin asked in surprise:

"Huh? What’s Qin Tuo doing in a place like this?"

Wang Lei sneered contemptuously:

"It’s obvious. That punk Qin Tuo is a terrible driver and hit someone’s car. He’s probably going to have to pay millions in damages now!"
