Chapter 411: Chapter-411
The Marquis, his face pale and his pride completely shattered, bowed his head so low his chin touched his chest. "Yes, Mother. As you command."
"And the bamboo!" the Grand Madam shouted, remembering the original offense. "Have the estate’s laborers uproot every last stalk of it! If I see a single leaf of this foundation-destroying weed tomorrow, I will have you flogged, Marquis!"
"Yes, Mother," the Marquis choked out, thoroughly humiliated in front of his entire staff.
Heena buried her face into her grandmother’s shoulder, her shoulders shaking. To the parents and grooms, it looked like she was sobbing uncontrollably.
But Samuel, standing just a few feet away with his razor-sharp guard instincts, noticed the slight, rhythmic movement of her shoulders. She wasn’t crying.
She was silently, violently laughing.
*My wife is an absolute demon,* Samuel thought, his heart swelling with so much dark, intense adoration he thought it might actually burst from his chest.
"Alright, everyone out!" the Grand Madam ordered, picking her cane back up. "Let my granddaughter rest! She has exhausted herself trying to fix your incompetent mistakes! Marquis, drag your crying wife and these useless boys out of my sight!"
The Marquis didn’t need to be told twice. Completely broken, he turned and marched out of the courtyard, not even looking back at the grooms he had previously favored. The Marchioness scrambled up from the floor, gesturing frantically for the four grooms to follow her before the old woman decided to actually beat them with her cane.
Kavien, still bleeding profusely, was practically dragged out by the Second Groom. The Fourth Groom cast one last, longing look at his beloved bamboo forest before retreating. Orion was the last to leave, shooting Heena a deeply calculating, wary look before slipping out the gates.
Within minutes, the entire courtyard was stripped bare. The servants, moving with record-breaking speed, hauled away the last of the expensive furniture, leaving the rooms looking like barren, empty monastery cells.
When the dust finally settled, and the Grand Madam had been gently escorted back to her own pavilion to rest, Heena stood alone in the center of the courtyard with her towering shadow guard.
She slowly lowered the handkerchief from her face. Her eyes were completely dry, sparkling with a ruthless, victorious light.
"Well," Heena sighed happily, stretching her arms above her head and letting out a satisfied yawn. "That was incredibly refreshing."
She turned to look at Samuel, who was still standing at perfect attention, though his broad chest was heaving slightly from the lingering adrenaline.
"Come along, guard," Heena commanded, a genuine, breathtaking smile finally gracing her lips. "I believe I promised you a reward for enduring those restraints all morning. Let us return to my study... and I will finally take them off."

The deep of the night had finally settled over the grand estate, blanketing the courtyard in complete silence.
Inside the dimly lit master bedroom, Samuel was completely out cold. The towering, lethal shadow guard—who had spent the entire day terrorizing noblemen and exuding suffocating killing intent—was now sprawled across the massive silk bed, sleeping so deeply he looked like a collapsed mountain. His broad chest rose and fell in a slow, heavy rhythm, his face utterly peaceful despite absolute, physical exhaustion.
Heena sat up gracefully beside him, leaning against the carved wooden headboard. She let out a soft sigh, reaching back to massage her lower back.
Suddenly, a faint, translucent blue light shimmered at the foot of the bed. The light materialized, forming into the shape of a small, glowing, holographic lion. It shook its magnificent mane, its tail flicking lazily in the air.
Heena paused, dropping her hand from her waist. A cold, mocking sneer immediately formed on her lips.
"What?" Heena drawled, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Did you finally find the time to check if I am dead or not?"
The lion-shaped System flattened its holographic ears, letting out a highly defensive, disgruntled huff.
"Come on, Host!"the System pouted, its mechanical voice sounding incredibly whiny for a majestic beast. "I was actually working! Do you have any idea how hard it is to process official transmigration paperwork and bureaucratic system stuff?"
The tiny lion then padded over the silk blankets, stopping right next to Samuel’s massive, unconscious arm. It tilted its head, peering down at the deeply sleeping giant.
"Host, I just genuinely cannot understand you,* the System sighed, shaking its glowing head. "If you like completely dominating a guy this much... why don’t you just ask me to transmigrate you into a male body? You practically act like one anyway! I mean, just look at Samuel! The poor man looks like he literally fainted!"
Heena looked at the glowing lion with an expression of pure, unadulterated disgust.
"Have you completely gone nuts, you damn system?" Heena snapped in a harsh whisper, careful not to wake the sleeping giant beside her. "Why the heck would I want to change into a man?"
She shifted against the pillows, wincing slightly as a dull ache flared in her lower back.
"If you ever came down to my position, you would understand exactly how incredibly tiresome it is," Heena muttered, glaring at the little lion. "My waist always feels like it is completely broken. Do you know how much physical effort it takes to manage a man of this size? So, of course, when I am doing the ’work,’ I am going to avoid forcing my own back and let him exhaust himself to the point of fainting."
Heena reached out, her delicate fingers softly brushing a stray lock of dark hair away from Samuel’s deeply sleeping face. A wickedly brilliant, incredibly satisfied smirk curved her lips.
"And anyway," she added smoothly, her eyes gleaming in the dim light. "I am a very good, devoted wife. How could I ever let my dear husband feel unsatisfied?"
The glowing, lion-shaped System stared back at her, its holographic face contorting into an expression that Heena could only comprehend as profound disgust and utter annoyance.
Heena just rolled her eyes. Honestly, she was starting to think that because they had been bound together for such a long time, this damn System had completely forgotten its original submissive programming and rules.
"Anyway," Heena sighed, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked down at the tiny beast. "What the heck are you even doing here?"
The lion’s annoyed expression instantly melted away. It padded closer, gently nuzzling its glowing holographic head against her knee.
"My official work was done, so I thought I would come straight back to you," the System purred, its mechanical voice softening. It tilted its head up to look at her. "So, Host, how is the work going here?"
Heena’s expression remained perfectly smooth, but internally, a dark, complicated thought crossed her mind. She absolutely could not tell the System that the rukus she had caused this morning. If she dropped that terrifying piece of information right now, the little lion would likely suffer a catastrophic core failure and completely collapse on the spot.
Instead, she just offered a slight, highly innocent smile. "Well, I have not burned down the world yet. So, I think it is going okay."
Hearing that, the System smiled, letting out a relieved little huff.
The brief moment of levity faded as Heena’s smile slowly dropped. Her dark eyes grew sharp and contemplative in the dim lighting of the bedroom.
