The Mutant Beast King watched waves of its underlings fall, growing more frenzied, its roar rising in crescendo.
Mixed with sound wave attacks and Spiritual Ability, it attempted to break through Ji Ning’s defensive wall, but that invisible barrier was like a sturdy fort, blocking all its assaults.
Ji Ning spoke again: "With me here, you cannot harm my people. Leave, or die——"
Enraged by Ji Ning’s words, the Mutant Beast King ceased directing its underlings to attack her, instead barreling toward her with a roar.
With humanoid limbs, wielding a metal rod found god knows where, it swung heavily at Ji Ning’s body.
