Chapter 1120: Ch 1120: End of an Epic Battle

Seeing these two quite poweful beasts looking toward the mech as if it was a helpless prey, Annavilla immediately decided to make the two chainsaw to disappear.

That was why, even though the bullets were perfectly locked onto the target, they actually ended up missing the mark and did not even reach the body of the beast.

But Annavilla did not care about this failure. This outcome was something that it had already expected. So there was nothing for Annavilla to be surprised or disappointed about.

The reason why the mecha was releasing so many bullets was not to hurt the beast but prepare for the next attack. And with so many bullets flying around, soon both of the beasts got trapped in two cages made of the bullets.

And this was exactly the opportunity that the mecha was looking for. Now that the movement space of this beast had been restricted, Annavilla decided to finally deploy one of her trump card, which was called the Heart Cannon.

Matching it’s name, a cannon came out of the chest area of the mecha. Then without wasting any time, it took aim toward one of the beasts and fired a blue concentrated beam attack.

This attack was insanely fast and there was nothing that could stop it. The domain barrier was broken immediately after coming into contact with this beam attack and even the powerful scales protecting the beast were useless before it.

Seeing this attack, even Elena was impressed. If she had to face it, she was not be sure of her survival chances without depending on Golden Elena. It was just that insane of an attack.

So the result of it was quite predictable. One of the beasts was vaporized on the spot and completely disappeared. And as soon as that had happened, the second beast started to transform very suddenly.

After this transformation, the beast had gotten stronger and had broken out of the bullet prison. But at the same time, it had also became quite fearful of Annavilla.

The second clone’s defeat and death was a trap and it had worked perfectly. The beast had deployed this clone of itself to be killed and provide a massive sacrificial boost to the main body.

And in the process of dying, this clone had even managed to waste a super powerful attack of the opponent. This was far more than what was demanded of it.

Looking toward these facts, it might look like the Chaos beast had actually won that confrontation and should currently be in a great advantage. But that did not look to be the case and the beast looked scared instead.

And the reasons for this was obviously the previous attack. That was just way too strong. Even in the current transformed and evolved state, the beast would be unable to withstand it.

So this move had made the beast so scared that it was thinking about withdrawing from this battle. This seemingly easy fight had now became way too dangerous. But how could Annavilla allow it to just come and go as it wished ?

So as the beast tried to run away through a special dimension that only it should have access to, the mecha actually used a very risky move.

It took out the core reactor which was the main power source of this mecha and threw it toward the portal that the beast had created.

This core reactor was extremely valuable and had immense amount of energy stored inside it. So when it was removed from the mecha, this immense amount of energy became very unstable.

So when it reached the walls of the dimension where the beast had run away to, it exploded and destroyed everything around it, including the dimensional wall and reached the beast.

And the result of this was the complete death of this powerful beast. It had even revived twice after dying but as the explosion was still ongoing, the beast had died immediately once more after the revival.

This was how the battle had came to an end, and the skeletal frame that the ladies had seen some time ago, that was the only thing about this beast which was still intact. And now, it had became a spoil of victory for Annavilla.

This was definitely an epic battle but if Elena had to be honest, she was a little disappointed with the ending. It almost felt like Annavilla had defeated this powerful beast by throwing money toward it.

But this was a completely valid way to fight and suited a researcher like this person more than the traditional way of fighting. So even if it did not match Elena’s own style, it was definitely something super interesting.

As for Nyxarae and Chisato, they were not only excited after watching this, they had also been inspired by it. Seeing someone stronger than them fighting, one could learn a lot. And as extremely talented individuals, Chisato and Nyxarae both had taken full advantage of this opportunity.
