Chapter 113: Chapter 107: Zeke the Builder Returns

Cass said, "Are we playing Pokémon?"

Zeke asked, "What?"

Cass said, "You know, gotta catch ’em all. Because this is what it’s starting to seem like. First, it was Christianity with the Angels and the Demons, and now it’s Hindu mythology. How were they even present on the Olden Earth before awakening?"

Zeke said, "Well, I have a guess. What if every mythology and legend is true? What if the people on the Olden Earth just knew about them because their myths had reached a level where every living being subconsciously started thinking about them and created the religions that we know of?"

Cass said, "It makes sense... mostly. If it is true, then why haven’t these religions popped up now? And from what I know, not everyone was religious back on the Olden Earth."

Zeke said, "Hmm... What if there were certain individuals with a high affinity for faith? Considering that these guys’ myths have reached a level where they are subconsciously spreading their faith, what if these certain individuals attracted that faith and then spread it to others?"

Cass said, "All we have are theories that don’t help us. Let’s focus on the present rather than the past, shall we?"

Zeke said, "First of all, that’s an idiotic thing to say to a regressor. Second, you’re the one who brought it up."

Cass was speechless.

Zeke said, "Let’s just check out the skills that we have received."

Cass nodded. Just as they were about to open their skill windows, they paused. They both heard a thunderous sound. The weird thing was, it came from within them, almost like a heartbeat. They looked at each other and were about to say something, but then it happened again.

Cass said, "What’s happening?"

Zeke said, "I don’t know."

Zeke tried to follow wherever this sensation was coming from. It was the totem on his chest. It was pulsating.

He said, "Cass, the tote—"

He was interrupted by another heartbeat. They waited and waited, but the phenomenon didn’t happen again. Instead, they felt the faith strings tugging at them. They both looked at each other and nodded. Then, they opened a portal to Aurevion and entered it.

As soon as they entered, they were shocked. It had undergone changes of epic proportions. The seed that had just initially sprouted before had bloomed into a metaphorical towering tree. The Dimension Seed wasn’t a seed anymore but a fully-fledged dimension.

They looked at the three celestial bodies, which had increased in size. They had become huge. The celestial planet looked even larger than Earth. And not just that—entire biomes had appeared on it: mountains, oceans, plains, etc. Even though they couldn’t see it, they could feel that it was rotating. The sun and the moon were also rotating. They were revolving around the celestial planet.

(I know that this might piss every scientist off, but... what can they do about it? Haha. By the way, refer to Chapter 34 if you don’t remember anything about the Seed.)

They were surrounded by clouds of purple and golden faith. The celestial bodies were constantly absorbing faith, but still, they were surrounded by the clouds. They were concentrated above a specific spot on the celestial planet. They teleported there and saw a huge tree. Zeke recognized it immediately. It was Yggdrasil. It had somehow appeared on Aurevion. Wait. It all made sense.

Zeke said, "It seems that the Seed absorbed Murim entirely. It was a whole-ass Independent Plane. That, along with the huge amount of faith, must have allowed it to evolve into what it is now."

Cass nodded. But then he noticed something weird. Two things, actually.

He said, "Zeke, what are those..."

He pointed at golden and purple cocoons that were scattered all over the celestial planet.

He continued, "...and why are we so huge?"

Zeke muttered, "What do you mean..."

He stopped speaking when he looked down. Cass was right. They were humongous in size, to the point that Zeke had no words to describe them. The best he could do was "cosmic beings."

He said, "I don’t know. I mean, technically, we are cosmic beings. At least in this dimension. We are its creators."

Cass asked, "You do realize that that has nothing to do with our size?"

Zeke said, "Do you realize that I don’t know everything?"

Cass said, "Fair point. But you didn’t answer my first question. What are those?"

Zeke said, "They are the people of Murim. I don’t know why, but their transformation seems to be taking quite some time."

Cass said, "But they will... hatch?... soon. Do we have a place for them to live? Because that is a lot of people."

Zeke hummed and said, "True. It won’t be easy to provide housing for 250 million people, even for Uncle Dean. Looks like we need to get to work."

Cass asked, "Work?"

Zeke waved his hand and a construction cap manifested above his head. He was also suddenly wearing overalls.

He said, "Zeke the builder is back, baby."

Cass asked, "What are you talking about?"

Zeke coughed and said, "We need to build infrastructure."

Cass said, "Correct me if I’m wrong, but you want us—just us—to build enough infrastructure for 250 million people?"

Zeke said, "You’re wrong."

Cass took a breath of relief, but that breath got stuck when he heard Zeke’s next words.

Zeke said, "I want us to complete all of the infrastructure that we can on the celestial planet."

Cass almost shrieked, "Are you out of your damn mind?! How do you expect us to do that? With what materials?"

Zeke didn’t reply and just condensed a brick in his hand with faith.

He said, "Idiot. We have all of the raw material we need and more. Hell, even that is when I’m limiting my imagination. I can just—"

He stopped speaking and used his EX Grade Will to manifest a whole building out of faith.

He continued, "—do that instead."

Cass stared at the building and sighed. Zeke was going to work him to death.

He said, "What about blueprints?"

Zeke said, "You leave that to me."
