Chapter 111: Chapter 105: Arrogant Asshole

Zeke continued, "I spent about a year in darkness. I still hadn’t received a mission. I was given food and water about three times a day. I also did some experiments with the critters there to increase my poison immunity. Of course, I realized much later that I already had a special physique. A mutated version of the Myriad Toxins Immune Body."

Dean interrupted him and asked, "Only the Tang Clan of Murim had that physique."

Zeke said, "You’re right. I was in Murim. And I was a part of the Tang Clan. Technically."

He then proceeded to tell them about everything that had happened. All of them were shocked, especially Leonel and Dean, because they had been to Murim, and even their Heavenly Demons weren’t as crazy.

Cass said, "No wonder you had that crazy killing intent. But what was that weird place? And who were those assholes?"

Katherine said, "Cass, not you too. Don’t learn from Zeke. And what is this weird place you keep talking about?"

Zeke coughed and said, "It’ll all make sense once I finish. Long story short, I conquered Murim... and turned it into a cult. Our cult."

Leonel stood up in shock as he said, "You don’t mean..."

He was hoping that he was wrong. It was an absurd thought, but nothing was too absurd when it came to Zeke.

Zeke said, "They’re still transforming, but yeah. I sacrificed the whole Murim to Aurevion, and the people in it will become Neo-Nephilims."

Leonel went blank for a minute and sat down. Dean was in a similar state of mind.

Zeke said, "One of the people is equivalent to an S-Grade Player."

Leonel asked, "What realm did they reach?"

Zeke thought for a moment and said, "Quasi-Divine Beast. But only because the world held him back."

Leonel shook his head and said, "Then he would be barely a B-Grade here. You forgot to factor in the difference in world stability. Our Dimension is extremely stable. That’s why you were able to easily split space there, but you won’t be able to do the same here. Still, his experiences will be of great help."

Zeke said, "Oh. Coming back to the story, after my Trial was finished, I was once again visited by the Administrator. He was freaking out. Apparently, what I’d done was way above his pay grade, and then I met them." 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Dean asked, "Who?"

Zeke replied, "I’m not sure, but I’m guessing the first Administrators. And the strongest ones. We talked and came to a solution that was acceptable for both sides."

Cass coughed, "Cough—less talking, more blackmailing—cough."

Zeke looked at him blankly and said, "Alright, I blackmailed them. So what? The point is, we’re back safe and sound."

Dean asked, "How many...?"

Zeke said, "About 200–250 million."

Dean sucked in air.

Zeke said, "A huge portion of them are kids. And most of the adults were ordinary adults. Only 20% will be useful soldiers."

Dean said, "That’s still at least 40 million people. All with your overpowered skills."

Zeke said, "I mean, most of them will be commoners, and only the really powerful ones might become nobles. Besides, our skills are overpowered because we are the Primogenitors. Still, I understand what you mean."

Leonel said, "You forgot that their nobility rank would increase if they pass the Ascension Trial perfectly. And if it’s one thing they can do, it is endure pain."

Zeke nodded and said, "That makes sense."

Katherine stood up and hugged Zeke out of nowhere.

She said, "Everything is alright now."

Zeke hugged her back and said, "It is."

The boys slept like babies that night. God knows how long it had been since they had been able to sleep without having to care about anything.

The next morning, they decided to finally open the long list of System Notifications. Well, they skipped that and directly opened their Status Windows.

Zeke and Cass both sucked in a deep breath. And they hadn’t even checked their Achievements and the skills they had received as rewards.

Before they checked that, Zeke needed to do something. He looked nervously as he checked a System Notification:

’You have received a weapon of your choice from System Administrator #1 as a result of your exemplary performance in an Ascension Trial of Transcendent Primogenitor difficulty.’

’To summon the weapon, say the summoning chant.’

’I am an arrogant asshole.’

Zeke was speechless. The Administrators must’ve been really annoyed by him to pull off petty tricks like this. But when had he known shame?

He said with pride, "I am an arrogant asshole."
