Chapter 100: Chapter 94: Report and Plans

The Blood from Myriad Beasts only did one thing: it completely activated any hidden bloodline inside a Spirit Beast’s body. Zeke used it to give the Totem a little boost by applying it to the blood that contained trace amounts of the Neo-Nephilim bloodline. It also acted as a sacrifice for the Totem.

The seal broke, and the Totem activated at the same time. The Totem started glowing as it began attracting large amounts of Faith. The seed absorbed the Faith to germinate and quickly grew into a large tree. It had white bark and beautiful dark purple leaves with subdued golden veins.

The flow of Faith in Murim changed. It was similar to when he and Cass had created the Aurevion Pantheon. The strings of Faith that were once very tangled straightened up and converged at the tree.

Then they intertwined into a metaphorical rope that connected to the Aurevion Pantheon. Even though the amount of Faith hadn’t changed, Zeke could still feel that the link connecting him to Aurevion had become much stronger. He could also sense that the soul inside it was... evolving.

He set up multiple arrays to ensure the tree’s well-being before leaving. It was time. He went to see the Demon Ancestor. The Demon Ancestor, for once, was not drinking.

He said, "Look who’s here. If it isn’t the Heavenly Demon who ran from his responsibilities."

Zeke didn’t bother explaining himself and said, "Report."

The Demon Ancestor replied, "I have received word from Seok-Jin that the brats have all broken through to the Ultimate Demon realm. I swear, those old fogies in the Righteous Alliance would have a heart attack if they heard of this.

I know I nearly did. Who knew that becoming an Ultimate Demon was so easy? You all did it before you were even thirty. I guess the ancients were right. The new generation will surpass the old."

Zeke smirked, "They only broke through because they wanted to live. What about the Cult?"

The Demon Ancestor said, "Our troops have become much stronger after training under the Demonic Sword Empress and the Blood Monk. The Visualization that you gave them certainly helped. Many Demons who were stuck due to fear of insanity have now broken through. All in all, our troops are ready.

We will attack as soon as you give the word. This reminds me, the Crimson Hammer Demon Monarch wants to see you when you’re free. It probably has something to do with the strange order that you gave him."

Zeke said, "Hmmm, I’ll talk to him after this. What about the Righteous Alliance, any movements on their side?"

The Demon Ancestor said, "The cowards have finally decided to organize the Dragon Phoenix Tournament. It’s the first one after the Great War."

Zeke chuckled and said, "It must be a big deal for them, right?"

The Demon Ancestor nodded and said, "It is. They are using the tournament to raise morale. From what I’ve heard, they are going all out this time. It will commence in a month."

Zeke said, "I’m no one to deny them when they have gone out of their way to choose an auspicious day for their execution. Send word to the Demon Patriarch and Mammoth Head. The Spirit Beasts will take care of the Four Clans under the leadership of Cheon Woo-Wang, Cheon Bum-Wang, Cheon Wong-Wang, and the Demon Patriarch.

Each of the Demon Monarchs will lead their troops to Sect. The Spirit Beasts will assist them as well. You and The Demonic Scribe will remain here to hold down the fort. The Holy Mother can join any attack force that she wants. An elite task force of thirty people, including the rest of the Little Demons and Yonggi, will join me."

The Demon Ancestor asked, even though he already had an idea what the answer would be, "Join you where?"

Zeke said, "We’ll crash a party."

The Demon Ancestor was confused as he asked, "What does that mean?"

Zeke smacked his forehead and muttered, "Boomer."

Then he said, "We will attack the Dragon Phoenix Tournament."

The Demon Ancestor said, "Are you crazy!!? There will be at least ten people on the same level as the Ultimate Demons there. Do you have a death wish?"

Zeke said, "No, I don’t. And I know that there will be many enemies there. I still want to go. You know me. Tell me why I would do that."

The Demon Ancestor said, "Well, the only sane reason that you would willingly walk into a tiger’s den would be... if you knew that the tiger couldn’t do anything to you. Have you succeeded?"

Zeke said, "Not exactly. But I have surpassed you by half a step." 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

The Demon Ancestor’s eyes widened in shock. He quickly calmed down and said, "What about the Iron Blood Alliance?"

Zeke said, "Don’t they have their Annual Meet coming up?"

The Demon Ancestor replied, "They do. That is why the Dragon Phoenix Tournament is being held in a month. The leaders of the Iron Blood Alliance will be busy, thus lowering the risk of an attack."

Zeke said, "Then Mammoth Head can take care of them. I’m sure that he would appreciate a battle after so long. Anything else?"

The Demon Ancestor shook his head.

Zeke said, "Good. I’ll be in the Throne Room. Send the Crimson Hammer Demon Monarch to see me. Also, explain all this to the other Demon Monarchs as well."

Zeke disappeared from that room. As he appeared in the Throne Room, he saw that a throne that looked just like his Demonic Spirit had been built in place of the throne that he had destroyed. He nodded with approval and sat down. Soon the Crimson Hammer Demon Monarch walked into the Throne Room.

He knelt down and said, "Through the suffering, to the stars. I greet the Heavenly Demon."

Zeke said, "Rise. What did you want to see me about?"

The Crimson Hammer Demon Monarch said, "It is ready, My Liege."
