Chapter 2176: Chapter 2176: The Young Ones’ Love Is So Sweet (89)
Since Selim ran over here to hide from debt, of course, she wouldn’t let her family know. So how did her brother find her here?
As if anticipating Laura Jones’s question, Joseph Gresia sighed, took out his phone, opened Selim’s Moments, and showed it to Laura Jones.
"A while ago, through a friend, I checked my sister’s travel records, found out she came to Alaska, and she posted these Moments..."
Looking at the Moments screenshots Joseph Gresia gave her, Laura Jones realized she hadn’t seen them before. It was obvious she was deliberately blocked.
There were also a few screenshots sent to Joseph by others, clearly indicating that Selim blocked him from seeing her Moments as well.
"These Moments were sent to me by my sister’s best friend from our hometown. I went through a lot of effort to find you here."
Joseph Gresia explained at a leisurely pace.
Laura Jones’s expression turned frighteningly dark. The Moments Selim posted once again refreshed her perception of Selim.
Hypocritical, vain, biting the hand that feeds, distorting the facts. In short, Selim practically did everything to shatter her worldview.
In Selim’s Moments, she photographed every corner of her house, with the caption—
["My fiancé’s house."]
These words shocked Laura Jones to her core.
How did she, a big sister, suddenly become Selim’s fiancé?
As for the envious, jealous, and hateful comments below, Laura Jones couldn’t bear to read them.
There were also a few Moments implying her.
One of them mentioned having a background to sell films or something; she didn’t need to ask to know it was about her.
If she hadn’t seen these blocked Moments herself, she wouldn’t have guessed what kind of person she had hosted.
Laura Jones didn’t know whether to be angry or to laugh; she realized there actually was someone like this in the world.
Joseph Gresia knew Laura Jones was furious; he was no less so.
"Can my sister trust me now?"
Laura Jones looked up at him. Although you shouldn’t judge a person by their appearance, Joseph Gresia’s innocent look made it hard for Laura Jones to doubt him.
In contrast with someone as extreme as Selim, Laura Jones naturally believed Joseph’s words.
"There’s a café across the street. Let’s go sit there, and you can tell me slowly."
Laura Jones pointed to a café across from the school and said to Joseph.
"Okay."
Just as they left the school gate, a conspicuous Ferrari stopped in front of her, with Hannah Taylor sitting inside. Her gaze swept across Joseph’s face subtly before looking at Laura Jones and saying:
"Laura, aren’t you going home with me?"
Laura glanced at Joseph’s face and said to Hannah:
"I have something to do; you can head back first."
"Alright then."
Hannah did not ask more questions, shrugged, and drove off.
Once out of Laura’s sight, Hannah’s gaze narrowed thoughtfully.
"Who’s this cute young guy? Hasn’t William Wilson met his match?"
She curiously touched her chin, her eyes sparkling as if loudly saying, "I’m up to something."
In the café, Laura ordered a cup of coffee and looked at Joseph, asking:
"What would you like to drink?"
"Orange juice."
For some reason, hearing this response, Laura glanced at him and suddenly chuckled softly.
Joseph was momentarily dazed by her laugh, initially froze for a moment, and then felt his ears begin to burn slightly, "Why are you laughing?"
