"Don’t just grab opportunities to flatter. You’re making me feel embarrassed."
Elly pretended to shyly touch her cheek and continued:
"If your wife was really that smart, she wouldn’t just now be realizing something’s off with Johnson."
"Can’t blame you, I always trusted her too."
Adam sat beside her on the armrest of the chair, his long arm wrapped around her shoulder, with a slightly regretful tone.
"I really admired her ability. Just didn’t expect such high intelligence wouldn’t be put to proper use."
After all, being the daughter trained by Lisa Fefferman, her ability is unquestionable.
